Na wa... Village people asuustrike1: A man can have a say on his wedding. Let me share a true life story that happened years ago in IMO state. A guy named Kelvin had planned his wedding with Chioma. On the day of his traditional wedding, his in-laws were demanding for more money after he had spent N1m. It got to a point that he got angry, left the scene of the wedding, switched off his phone for days. His in-laws tried to reach and eventually begged him to marry Chioma but Kelvin stood his ground and decided to call off the wedding. His family pleaded with him but he refused to marry. He later got married to a white lady in Poland and they are blessed with 3 kids. |

Just shaking my head . Na so numbers dey turn vote. Buhari might not even win a landslide in North-West because he don fall some people's hand. Just look at Osun results. He enjoyed the vote of the populace in ousting GEJ, but now, I don't think so. So, whatever figures you want to delude yourself with, know men are not robots. It's gonna be tough. SW vote will be ➗. He has lost NC due to the way he handled the herdsmen issues (remember these people voted him in 2015), SS is a no-go area. Same with South East. Remaining NW and NE. I hope you can make your decisions. |

wemmyklein: Your number one problem will be your accent, then your degree is from Nigeria. No judge want to listen to you when you have a thick accent that will be difficult for him or her to understand. Nobody want to hire you to represent them on a case, I am talking from experience. The only thing most foreign people with a law degree do is to become an IMMIGRATION LAWYER.
My Experience: I went to court to dispute a ticket giving to me by a cop. When they called my name which was difficult for the person calling it I knew I am in trouble, then as soon as I open my mouth to talk the judge ordered everybody in the room to keep quite and said we have someone with accent here. I didn't even talk for 2mins he just told me to go and pay the damn ticket..
2nd experience: A friend of mine lost a case because she hired a Nigerian man to represent her in court. Accent!Accent!Accent! Most of our guys here with law degree from Nigeria are mostly into immigration cases.
Think about it. |

Read the whole of Psalm 73 InvisibleB: Dear Nairalanders
Over the weekend, i got invited to a wedding by a friend who is related to the couple getting married. So I put on one of my nice outfits and went with my friend. The wedding went smoothly, and we then left for the venue of the reception. When we got there after eating and drinking, the couple hit the dance floor and started dancing. So guests joined them on the dance floor and started dancing with them and spraying them money. I waited for my food to digest a little and then beckoned on a lady selling new notes. I bought some so i could spray the couple too.
While I was waiting for some people to leave the dance floor so I could dance and spray the couple a group of boys entered the hall surrounding a guy in the middle who looked like their leader who was carrying bundles of new naira notes. They started to spray the couple several bundles of high denomination of naira raising eyebrows. They exchange pleasantries with the groom and left. Soon after they left several groups entered and repeated the same thing. Most of these guys were in their 20's and obviously, wire boys. I became hesitant to get up and go spray my small change. I went outside to see what was happening and marvelled at the kind of exotic cars they brought. One group had soldiers guarding them! Yes, Nigerian Army soldiers!
Brethren, I cannot do wire wire, because I have a sensitive conscience and it pains me when my money is stolen, but I have come under pressure over the years from several of my friends to do it as i am good with computers. I have made some money online from adsense and crypto but right now both of these niches are at a low ebb. I really want to have and spend money like those guys, what legit online stuff are you doing that is paying very well that you would advise that I learn and do? Thanks for taking the time to read. Happy Sunday
