Really Excited to see somfin so lifting on nairaland with so much pollution goin in the forum now!I pray and hope the devil will not pollute this thread in Jesus name!

I read this scripture this morning and am yet to get over the effect of it on me:

Psalm 60 v 2

From the end of the earth will I cry unto you, when my heart is overwhelmed
:Lead me to the rock that is Higher than I.

Life throws us stuffs we didnt bargian for but its good to know that there is a God who is got our back if and if only we will run to Him that is Higher than us!

On a more serious note,I need to let you know that if you eventually find yourself outside the shores of Nigeria, you will still be very useless cause the way you are going about this travelling issue is all wrong guy!Europe or whatever country you plan to go will not make you a better person if you are not already a better person, stop believing this mirage that Life abroad is smooth and always rosy.Infact here, you work hard for every penny or cent as the case maybe and its guys like you once they enter begin to carry out dubious activities.
Summary,Work on been a better person, add value to your life, see everyday you have to spend in Nigeria as an opportunity to develop yourself cause once you enter here you have to be on your toes ni oooooo!E o tago grin grin grin

@Jassie!
That Ikotun/Cele bustop na one kain side that I dont fancy to go withdraw money using ATM,All the banks are facing the road with their ATM machine conspicuosly standing right in front of their building where any rogue going can see one withdrawing but that would not have been a problem if not for the corrupt system that is on ground. You can Imagine if a police man can do that what if a civilian does it who will one run to for assistance!God help us all!

If i may ask, why did you embold your enquiry?

All of us are busy and beside this is just a volountary job though we are happy with it. Personally i don't respond to all enquiries for reason(s) best known to me.

Since you are submitting on monday, what could our weekend advice do? Absolutely nothing!

Even though as a Nigerian, we got to cook-up some things to get what we want but we have to put ourself into the shoe of ECO at all times.

What is the company intend to gain from sponsoring your sister? Do they write any of such in their own "letter of support"

Why did they single out your Sister out of all even though she spent just 1 year there?

Is Industrial attachment for degree holders or diploma students?

Good luck.
I was wondering toooo!
But you really asked some braintasking questions just like the ECOS will do. grin

Kudos for various good response to individual visa enquiries, my question isI want to apply for student dependant visa to stay with my husband who is a student in UK, what are the necessary documents to submit with this application? as my hubby there is not working his uncle who sponsored him sends money to him but am working here, also i have applied for student visa and was denied thrice here, i hope this does not have any effect on any other application.

Please note, my hubby came home and we are legally married after my student visa refusal was denied and we married legally as i have my wedding certificate (Islamic and registry)
Since you took the time out to be observant that they have been giving good responses,Also take the time out to check through their responses or others cause there is a similar case that has already been dealt with on this forum. wink wink ;

simple answer:

somethings are LOST while somethings are GAINED.

it is not about better but are you HAPPY.

grin cheesy grin
Yeah totally agree with you here mate.

But for real,Abroad is what you make of it,and I will be sincere,I prefer the life here cause it is more condusive for me ,I dont know about others,I am not praying that Nepa should not take off light,or I dont have to go and queue at the filling stattion to buy petrol to put in gen.But once things get beha in Nigeria why not,I will definitely come back now grin grin!No shaking!

For those saying, that some people are abroad are poor, blah blah, one thing I have seen here is that you can be here and not be where you will get information to move to the next level. As you need connection to make it Nigeria,You need to be connected to the right people to get quality information that will elevate your status! But from what I have seen,I prefer here to Nigeria. Here you see things as it should be. grin grin

TravelRe: Why Do Most Nigerians Abroad Feel Too Big (important)when They Come Here! by ty4real(m): 9:34pm On Jul 21, 2008
Simple question requires simple answer! smiley smiley smiley
Na you people make dem feel big and na you dey come halla for hia,It amazes me that people in 9ja will ask poeple in abroad to buy me next shirt when you are coming oo, buy me chocolates, infact buy me the queen or the president grin grin as if this things dont exist in 9ja or someone coming home tells them I am coming for visit, con see request list,so tell me why wont they feel big when they arrive with all your orders even though they wont tell you that it was credit card that was mostly used in buying the stuffs.
Nigerians at home should get a life, when someone comes back from abroad, welcome him and give him a gift for coming back, that way they will feel small and you will tell them that you are also better foo staying in Nigeria E o tago grin grin grin

No mind them. If it was Nigerians, trust me it would be blown much more out of proportions than this. You would probably have heard phrases like:
"those West African criminal networks"

"those Africans immigrant criminals are responsible for 80% of all the crimes in Southall and in fact London as a whole"

"Immigration should do something about these criminal Nigerians quick and fast"

and so on and so forth.

Christianity EtcRe: What Do You Know About God by ty4real(m): 11:24pm On Jul 14, 2008
God is supreme and He is sovereign over all.Men easily gets tired of each others weaknesses but He never does cause He is in the business of reconciliation bringing men back to the relationship he wants from us and with us.He Loves uncondtionally,He always belives the best about us even when we fail ourseleves and people around us.He Loves us inspite of us and just as Max Lucado put,He Loves you the way you are but will never leave you the way you are.Just come to Him as you are and relase yourself to Him,Let him do the rest.Is in it wonderful to know this God?
