Travel / Re: Work In London Opportunity, For Nigerian Youth From British Government by ty4real(m): 12:08am On Feb 20, 2009
worklondon:

The British Government had recently reformed all her Immigrations Policies, having considered the modern trend in world’s immigration pattern, most especially from the citizens of the Commonwealth of Nations and British Territories and Colonies.

This development had made the reformed immigration policies to provide young and qualified citizens of the commonwealth nations the opportunity travel to the United Kingdom under the British Working Holiday Maker.

Under this Immigration Program, the United Kingdom is offering young people who are of age between 17 and 30 the opportunity of a life-time to travel to the United Kingdom as a Working Youth, citizens of a country of British Overseas Territories, a British Overseas citizen or a British National (Overseas), of which Nigeria is qualified.

This Program provides qualified citizens to come to the UK for an extended holiday, and intend to take employment as part of their holiday for not more than 12 months during their stay.

Here are the Criteria:
• You must be a single
• You do not have any dependent children aged five or over
• You can support yourself in the UK without needing any help from public funds
• You have not spent time in the UK on a previous working visa

Here are all you need to Know:
 How do I qualify for this working Visa?
 How long can I stay?
 How much and what work can I do?
 How do I apply for a visa?
 What will I need to make my application?
 How much does the visa cost?
 What will happen when I make my application?
 Can I apply to extend my stay once I am in the UK?

All you need to know about the British Working Visa Program and all Application Forms and Procedures had been packaged and simplified.

This is a full-information pack on the British Working Visa Program. All Application and Visa requirements had been well spelled out.

The Program is a welcomed opportunity for the Nigerian Youth to have their own fear share of the British Foreign Currency and make their Lives better in the UK.

This is an open system of migrating to the UK and many people who already had the Information are gaining from the opportunity in this Travelling Program.

I know "change of circumstance" is not the same term as "change of purpose", when used under visa purpose thingy, but Englishically speaking, they mean the same thing, and you are also incorrect to say that all "change of purpose" rejection carry no right of appeal tongue

Been a while on this forum, but this topic really caught my attention, the other day I was in the tube and some 9ja students were just chatting about the fact fo whether to go home or not after their programme,My own submission is this,
Be fully persuaded ohhhh, some of us spent the first twenty yepa of their lives in this same Nigeria, and you have only spent 1 or 2 years you are already crying I want to go back home grin grin
Be fully persuaded about it,cause at the end of the day,Na only you go face the music,no country has it all,no country is good,it is the citizenry that makes the country good,
If you no get Human connection for 9ja,please stay here and polish your accent and yourself and you will get the best of the best jobs, well excerpt if you get God well well and please make sure you get am correct ohhh,if you no get human or God connection for obodo 9ja he go be like living hell ohhh grin grin,But Nothing is impossible for God to do.
You need to also know that the opportunities that people are saying is available in Nigeria is not going around in whatever sector, supply will always fall short of demand!
My advice is this.try make some money for here,i mean clean money even without doing menial jobs, carry the money with you when going to 9ja,if you are in the category,Nigeria by force I must go grin grin,so that in case if the opportunity wey people dey talk about no show face, you fit get capital to start a small scale business, cause boredom can lead to fraustration, which can lead to uncurtailed aggravation wink wink
For me,until I land my dream job from here no relocation ohhhh,i knew what I went through before I secured a job with NIIT and with the peanuts they where giving as salary shocked shocked shocked!
Just my own opinion wink

Hello Bash,

My prfessional and sincere advice to you is to forgo your appeal result as you might not got it at all or if you did, it will be a definite refusal, that I can tell you.

Scan the refusal letter to execurandservices@yahoo.co.uk and let's give you that professional advice.

iykewin:

Hi All,
I applied for a HSMP dependent(my husband has HSMP) in march, got an objection because they thought there was no proof of address even though we had a letter from the landlord allowing to accomodate me plus they ignored the latest bank statement and said that the funds were not enough. Since our case was strong enough we applied for paper appeal in april, i got my paper submission date for 26th november 2008, when i talked to my legal representative they told me that paper based appeal process could take anywhere upto 2 months for actual evaluation so i requested for an oral appeal on 26th of october and still waiting for a response.
my queries are:
1-please guide me whats the best thing to do right now( we have taken care of all the obejctions they had our accounts are balanced plus we have utility bills for proof of address now).
2-once requested oral appeal can i revert back to apaper appeal if its taking forever.
i want to get this sorted as soon as possible.
please advice.
thanks in advance
Tabinda

Tabinda,

My suggestion as a professional is that you should wait for the decision of the AIT as suggested by Guseman. Because, as it stands now, there is little or nothing you can do until you hear from them.

However, if your appeal turns out negative, you can still do a fresh application.

I wish you all the best.

For future professional guidance, you can e-mail us at : execurandservices@yahoo.co.uk

Excuse me Professorsorry professional grin grin, did you just learn the word or whats up with your being professional,it is your work and contribution that will annouce you and not this self talk about you been a pro or not cool cool

MRPH,

As a professional Visa counselor, I will like to state the following:First, I will like to state that Your wife had a good reason to travel.

Second, you have stated that she was refused on the basis that she presented fake Tax clearance.
However, These are good enough reasons for her refusal.

- Why did you have to submit a tax certificate in the first place? Are you the owner of the Company? If yes, then, why did you not go to FIRS in the first place?
- Why did she state that she had a child already when her excuse for travelling is to shop for her wedding?
- I noticed that she did not include such documents as your pictures together and othe relevant documents like I.V etc showing wedding prep. in her list of documents and if there had been a traditional wedding, why did she not include the pix.

If you get a lawyer, then you want to do christmas before December because, it is enough criminal case that you submitted a fake Tax clearance which you also confirmed was fake.Let me also advice that you better not mention that it was your staff that did the fraud because you are only going to blacklist your company. A tax certificate is not a document that any of your staff should handle.

Fine, you have a genuine certificate now with your so called "AKAWO"( whatever that means), what you can do is to simply state your case and stating the true position of your error the last time. You can even admit that you did the certificate yourself at the Tax office, not knowing that what they did for you was fake either by faking ignorance of the fact that you dealt with a non staff of the office without knowing it.

You can still be considered on a good ground, provided you get the necessary documents and proofs this time.

If you want us to handle your Visa counselling, you can e-mail: execurandservices@yahoo.co.uk or call 08038478454 or 08056261017 scanning your refusal letter to us.

That sounds like you are not professional,we ve got quite a lot of folks here who dont blow their trumpet like you just did!Offer your advice and dont be forcy about it,people dont have to take it whether you are professional or quack!Even people wey dey work for home office here self never talk like that shocked shocked grin grin

Akolawole:

@Gurus

I think Yetti can make a fresh application.

That the fake document in this refusal is not her own Work letter, Certificates, Personal bank statements is a big advantage but don't put Viviko's tax document. In fact don't put new or updated tax clearance of your Mum.

I hope and pray Section 7B is completely independent on 7A.

Over to ya Pataki, Oluwafunmike and others.

The oyster card thingy baffles me too but it only shows that there is a system that will continue to work irrespective of what anybody does! grin grin grin!
But for any student,I would advice that once you are registered with your school, apply for the 30% discount oyster card for students or better still apply for the youngperson now called railcard, its actually for people within the age bracket of 16-25 yrs of age but if you are above 26,you can still apply for it once you can have the application form signed by your schools stating that you are a full time registered student. You will discover how much you can save especially when you buy during off peak periods.Travel card payment is so ridiculous as in so cheap thats my own opionin sha. grin grin grin grin!
