Any lady who thinks that being poor and broke is still acceptable in this Gen Z era is highly mistaken. We are now in the era where women can now work and earn legitimately. It may not be as much as most men earn but it should be enough to stop disturbing someone's son making him your sole provider because he is your boyfriend or fiance. Now for a woman to be broke or poor is solely her decision. So men don't settle for less, that thing na scam. Go for a hardworking woman, who has skills, a job, a trade etc. and good character So she can support you o when things don't go too well with you Date a woman of value and you'll have peace of mind with less debit alert. A woman of value who really knows what it means to go out there as a man hustle and make 1naira, a woman who will appreciate the little you give her when you choose to surprise her because she knows...she knows Also, men it is your duty to train your female children, so they don't end up as liabilities to men, equip and enroll them so they have something to offer, even while getting or after getting their degrees they should have skills/ handwork as a means of support. Pls no insults o. It's just my opinion. |
This is wickedness. With the rate of doctors leaving the country for greener pastures look at what this people are doing. |
May her soul rest in peace😞 what a tragic way to die, after working so hard to find greener plaster for you and your family only to end up murdered by the one you love... it's sad |
humilitypays:Oga when bank palava choke you for neck even if Kim Kardashian dy work for bank you no go send am😆 |
12 years His school is lenient o..My beloved BSU only has chances for spill 1 and Spill 2🤦🏽♀️ that's two years |
Vinnie2000:Awwww so sweet🥰 the girl sha no try😞 |
I remember when sugar of that quantity was 5 naira fa... Where are we heading 🤦🏽♀️ |
I have been going through the comments and I have just one question WHAT DO MEN WANT? I mean she clearly stood by her man which is an honourable thing...the right thing to do but some of you guys still complain. If she did not stand by him now and the story goes out Nairaland will catch fire... It will be insults upon insults on my gender. When a woman supports a man mentally, spiritually and even financially during his trying times they insult her and call her understanding girlfriend but when she does the opposite she's now an ashawo, a useless girl that's only after money. Is it now a crime to genuinely love, respect and support a man? Cause I don't understand again o |
luminouz:I will NEVER be a troublesome wife, I am a full option. Thankfully your opinion of me doesn't count... Byeee too |
luminouz:You saw my comment and chatted me up first, I didn't chat you up? so why are you going after my character and culinary skills? You don't know me from anywhere so why are you being judgemental by saying I have pride after two very brief conversations? What has pride or my cooking got to do with what whatever statement I made? Pls oo am not Looking for a fight |
[quote author=luminouz post=127334870]Tynaclem1, so how will I prove it to you say I dey hardworking and focused? I should Bluetooth my achievements to you or what? See you get small pride. Instead of you to send DM make we start something, you still dey ask me "who wants to be a millionaire" questions. Shey you sabi cook so with your pride?[/quote You saw my comment and chatted me up first, I didn't chat you up? so why are you going after my character and culinary skills? luminouz:That's nice, good for you. But why should I prove anything to you when haven't proven anything to me?🤷 |
luminouz:Yes I work, but you see that suggestion I made to the op go and try it out lemme see how hard working you are first then we can combine both salaries and start something |
luminouz:Do you really want us to discuss this abi ya catching cruise😄 |
youngsum:I am a woman and I will tell you the truth. With this salary it's a no no especially if you marry a broke girl or even an average working lady But I have a suggestion. As a teacher, if you can improve on your hustle, brush up your skills and familiarise yourself with students, you can get atleast 3-4 students to do home lesson for that will pay you 20k- 25k monthly each. some parents even pay more and make sure to feed you sef whenever you come around. It's all about how you relate with them. The money from home lesson coupled with your salary if managed properly can go a long way in helping you achieve your dream of marriage. Sha shine your eyes on your choice of girl to marry o Just an honest opinion🙂 |
God punish all these useless pastors, so those people that did not get the alert and believed in God for one unko? Does God love them any less...this is how these pastor's will make members lose faith in God. Besides when did Angel Gabriel come to earth, registered for national Id card or voters card, get utility bill, open bank account, did bvn registration, fund the account and send people money... Useless pastors, God will punish all of you. People sef are stupid, can those accounts numbers not be traced? Naso Suleiman dy one side dy do miracle money now this one don start. Instead of you to encourage people to go out and hustle, work hard and earn money, you swindle them in the name of tithe and offering and decieve them with the idea of getting miracle money from God. Una no go make heaven oo... Useless set of people... This can never be me |
damosky12:Oh alright, you said what is natural is not miraculous but God creating earth, light, animals, plants, humans, nature etc is that not a miracle? Why should what we create and invent not be referred to as extraordinary and a miracle on it's own... Secondly, you said we can only receive miracles from God when we pray.... Does it mean that only Christians can receive miracles? What about people who do not believe in God? Where does God's love come in irrespective of our beliefs? |
damosky12:Lol... I have soooo many questions to ask but I get your point and am grateful for the insights you have shared. Thank you sir. |
damosky12:Lemme deviate a little.. you said God is not limited and that implies that man is limited. If we truly serve a God that is limitless so what makes u think his creation is limited... Don't forget the bible said " ye are god's" we were created in his own image and likeness and we christians believe that whatever we have God gave us...God gave us a limitless brain to think and create as long as we believe it is possible... This therefore implies that he is working miracles through us his creations in our thoughts and the things we create, are still creating and will still create and this includes medicine. This is solely because we were created in his image and likeness... To be honest it is true that people get healed when they pray and hands are laid on them when they go to church they receive their healing but how many people in earnest do u think will get well or healed from their sicknesses and ailments without medications? Wat about those who do not believe in God or who are idol worshippers or have other religions... Rather than see the failures of medicine which u have subtly emphasised so you can promote the limitless nature of God why not see God's love being showered on us all despite our religious diversifications through science and medicine. That people can get well through this gift and God can still save lives through this gift even without believing or being prayed for... I would like your honest opinion on the statement above. P. S. I am a "she" 😄 |
damosky12:You have a point when you said Jesus commanded that we pray for the sick...but in this case, you never stated in what context should we pray...if she was to pray for the patient to receive their healing or we pray for them to find comfort, courage and believe that God is there to help them get through the illness they are facing ... Am in no way supporting she pray either way but pls move on to my next paragraph 🙂 At the time Jesus made that statement we literally had nothing like modern science, we had no panadol to cure headaches and doctors to perform life changing surgeries but now that we have them and with the fast pace at which we are advancing in the medical field I feel like praying for the sick is SOMEWHAT unnecessary. It's just like relocating abroad and praying for nepa to bring light when there is 24/7 electricity and you just have to pay your bills i.e work to keep a steady electricity. So also the patients coming to the hospital and paying for her medical bills to receive treatment which God has already provided for us through the miracle of science. Yes science is limited but where are we without it.🤷God answers prayers but he cannot provide answers to prayers he has already provided a solution for... It's just crazy So from my point of view you can see that she lacked understanding and she clearly broke the rules. It is also in the same bible Jesus taught on obedience and Paul taught on respect for constituted authorities. |
damosky12:I get your point sir but I feel you're not getting mine. With the absence of rules comes anarchy and lawlessness...with that the modus operandi of any organisation is destroyed. If you were incharge of recruitment in a hospital would you recruit based on religious beliefs or professional expertise. I can bet that you would not employ a mechanic or even a cleric to carry out the job of a doctor or nurse. The lady in question was hired and paid based on on her professional qualifications and nothing more. She was hired to do a job which entails providing care and comfort according to the boundaries of her profession... Clerics were also hired to that effect... This is to ensure every one carry out their jobs effectively. The patient in question came to the hospital for the sole purpose of getting treated for an ailment because that is what hospitals are meant for. If they wanted prayers they could have gone to church. Now the hospital went ahead to create a department that can provide comfort and prayers for sick patients so that things like what this nurse did would not happen. The truth is she made a choice based on her religious beliefs and should be ready to face the consequences. She was at work she should have performed the duties required of her and nothing more. That is what I implied as giving to Caesar what belongs to Caesar. |
damosky12:Sir, If I may recall correctly, during the time of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego prayers were BANNED and also during Daniel's time prayers were BANNED. In this case, prayers were not banned they just established rules which involved notifying another department which sole purpose was to handle anything relating to religious matters which includes praying for patients and providing them comfort based on their religion. Every organisation has it's rules, these rules are put in place for so everyone can know their boundaries and the consequences attached to breaking them....rules are meant to be followed and if you choose to break them then they are consequences... It's as simple as that. Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and give to God what belongs to God. The lady in question stepped outside the parameters of her professional boundaries and even though she was doing the right thing according to her religious beliefs, she has to face the consequences. I know that God exists and miracles really do happen but what alot of us fail to see is that science itself is a miracle God gave man. The fact that man has the ability to create medicines, perform life changing surgeries is a miracle. So why then do we bother God when he has already answered our prayers🤷 |
stanbright:God bless you!!!!! Thank you for speaking the truth and calling a spade a spade.. ahah Nigerians are wicked and they are the cause of their problems. Fire will be burning us yet the voices of the people laughing are silencing that of those crying. Bag of rice is 46k as at last month, few months ago u were buying fuel at N220, spaghetti is now N700, a bottle of oil is now N1,100, how much was DSTV/GOTV subscription everything is on the rise and our fellow Nigerians are shouting APC govt is good...God punish all of you...e no go better for Una... |
Don't go and marry her now and start having regrets...you are even almost 40... frustration at this age hits differently. Your relationship is still young, find a way to talk to her and move on. I feel for the girl especially being a virgin at 27 and having this kind of medical issue it's painful but such is life. It's better to let her go now because if you both think you are frustrated now wait till u get married and children don't come. |
I love when i see a fellow woman like me working, it makes me happy. Atleast men will come to the understanding that women can also work hard too and make something out of their lives, they can get married and support their home financially. Not every lady out there is into hook up. There are ladies who are genuinely working hard and making money. May God continue to bless her hustle... |
ogbonti:You have a very valid point but you see this country ..the mindset we have is as long as it is not your roof that is on fire just mind your business...Nigerians will take everything hook line and sinker... The last time we stood up as a country to protest...we lost that battle at lekki toll gate...the people obviously responsible were never brought to justice rather they stay and advance in power... Tomorrow even if a bag of rice is sold for 100k, fuel price rises to 2k per litre Nigerians will still mind their business and rough it out. |
God abeg oo, we are still owing billions of dollars and still collecting more loans? I don't understand...is Nigeria not generating revenue again? What about all the taxes they cut from people's salary...it is decisions like this that make people lose hope in Nigeria, give up and japa. God help us |
