donbenie:you can show me where the term Roman Catholic church was used some centuries before Anglicans |
1Dray:If you had read the post you would have realized that your objection was answered. I will happily copy and paste the reply to that objection. Reply to Objection 3: Recall that Palestine is not England, Russia, or Alaska. Bethlehem is situated at the latitude of 31.7. Dallas, Texas has the latitude of 32.8, and it’s still rather comfortable outside in December. As the great Cornelius a Lapide remarks during his lifetime, one could still see shepherds and sheep in the fields of Italy during late December, and Italy is at higher latitude than Bethlehem. |
alabo1:I Should say the same to you. Because He was born |
AntiChristian:If you disagree with something, the intelligent thing to do is provide reasons why you disagree. Those reasons will be looked at, accepted or rebutted with proper argument. That is how people correct "lies" not by claiming that if the thought expressed is different from yours, then the thought is being forced on you. Nobody is forcing you, either provide a rebuttal, agree or scroll past. |
donbenie:the original church is called "Catholic Church" not roman catholic church, it was the anglicans who added "roman" to it because the anglicans wanted to also claim to be catholic. there was already the catholic chuch ling before it became a state religion in rome |

May his Memory be Eternal May his Memory be a Blessing May he find mercy in Judgement And find the fulness of the light of God's face Requiescat in Pace "1.But the souls of the upright are in the hands of God, and no torment can touch them. 2.To the unenlightened, they appeared to die, their departure was regarded as disaster, 3.their leaving us like annihilation; but they are at peace. 4.If, as it seemed to us, they suffered punishment, their hope was rich with immortality; 5.slight was their correction, great will their blessings be. God was putting them to the test and has proved them worthy to be with him; he has tested them like gold in a furnace, and accepted them as a perfect burnt offering. 7.At their time of visitation, they will shine out; as sparks run through the stubble, so will they. 8.They will judge nations, rule over peoples, and the Lord will be their king for ever. 9.Those who trust in him will understand the truth, those who are faithful will live with him in love; for grace and mercy await his holy ones, and he intervenes on behalf of his chosen." KaluwisxPRO:you still seem to be unable to hear, Cuba has one of the highest reserves in the world it was ignored for years and you think same can't happen to Nigeria. There is no options except continuing where the colonizers stopped, it is either you continue or you are sabotage, Gadafi, Lumuba and co will tell you their stories |
KaluwisxPRO:it is good to be a student of history and world politics because if you were you would not be saying this. What do you think is the fate of any African country that thinks of Independence from the west? I only gave you the example of the former french colonies that refused the franc, they were sabotaged by franc, it is not hidden information research. Even the Cuban problem the genesis of it was that Cuba chose to allign with the East instead of the west and till today they are still under economic sabotage. people seat in their homes and talk about independence, they do not know what it means and the cost for poorer countries |
KaluwisxPRO:campanies that trade in Cuba are prohibited from trading with the US. it is not about trading in the dollars, it is a full trade embargo. An Cuba is complaining because such embargo amounts to economic sabatage, it is the same thing France did to African countries that refused to accept the French franc. It is truly unfortunate that an African will support economic imperialism, the very tool that the west uses in colonialising Africa in their neo-colonialist aims. |
just the same way the west is naitonalising Russian assets. Cuba and the US were in a state of war BabaCommander: |

The same Tinubu that just went for a muslim-muslim ticket? IvarTheBoneless: |
people like you will still shout one nigeria even with your tribaliatic mindset. thanks be to God hardship knows no tribe. Did the north not vote a fellow northerner Buhari? Let them vote another one, it isn't new, the whole country will suffer together just as they suffered Buhari. If by now the north hasn't learnt to put other considerations ahead of tribe, then their mumu never do IvarTheBoneless: |
I am sure you know what comparism is and how it work. the my tribe is the best tribe mentality is the very root cause of the tribalism and ethnic nepotism we have in Nigeria, it is the invitation of intertribal jealousy and the very thing that come before tribal conflict. I will assume from your username that you are Igbo, that very sentiments are what causes misunderstanding among tribes Nnaworo:There is this pride associated with the Igbo tribe which is not seen in other tribes- It takes more to be a Igbo man than to be from other tribes. You can't afford to live the life of mediocre being Igbo and it comes with a lot of financial pressure- it is this status symbol that makes the lazy ones carry hard drugs to Asia and make the hard working ones being legitimately successful men. I'm not saying that other tribes are not unique in their own ways. |
mastermaestro:I think it depends on the culture, I am multi-named and if I check some of my documents the only constant names are my surname and my first name...which is an English name. My mom named me twice, my father named me once and my grandma named me once, and religion added a last one. Those are the middle names that I could use, but in the extnded family everyone who was old enough when I was born is allowed to name me and call me the name he chose. now in my earliest document my middle name has been either of the two selected by my mother... when I was very young she used the name I was called at home and changed it again when I changed school. Fortunately for me, I regulated all that with my primary 6, wassce, bsc, nysc and master all with the same middle name. then i did a local government registration of birth, national population commission birth certificate all reading the same middle name. that way all the documents that matter have the same middle name. I have stopped presented any document that doesn't have the exact 3 official names I currently use. I am from the south-South and my brother probable has a similar problem, he incorporated a new middle name during his wassce... If the guy is from a similar culture, it is probably understandable. |
