Doesn't dis feel like scam... Is d op trying to scam people here ![]() As in, NNPC fa. Okay o. |
Plenty... Can't speak my mum or dad's language at all. I barely understand a word in my dad's language except to greet. My mum's language is what I'm trying to learn. My aim once I get married is to make a pact with my hubby that our kids must learn his dialect. No butty butty. Enuf of dt will come from me. |
The answer is C3. Guy, abeg confirm if I'm right. ![]() |
Ohhhhhh! This is so so hilarious. I mean, provide proof of the mosquito u tried to kill on papa's bald head. ![]() |
It's not so easy to date a guy who doesn't have a job at present. Especially if the lady has a job. Too many issues start arising if the guy is insecure or is too jealous. The heat falls back on the lady more than half d time cos the guy would always think she's dating this guy or dat guy becos they've got well-paying jobs and he doesn't. What I always advice is that they both take some time off while the guy actually takes the time to search for a job. Could be a month or 2 or 6 mths. But, if he's mature and can handle it, why not. |
It's sad but I don't understand my language .My parents didn't see the need to speak it.I guess it's cos they're not from d same place.People tell me I shld be able to speak mumsy's language,at least. But even my mumsy doesn't speak her language to us. The only language I know rite now is English.Tryin to learn a bit of yoruba cos my bf is yoruba. |
Hey! Sammie. Thanks for the info but I have to say that none of the opportunities are right here in Nigeria. They're all in other countries. So, Please if u could get the link for the recruitment in Nigeria,it would be helpful. Thank you. |
In a case where d guy and gf have mutual friends, say one who is getting married. And dey both buy d material to sew. After d wedding ceremony, dey take pictures, den wat ![]() |
Mathematics is my forte. I began to love mathematics in the university,my second year to be precise. Infact, my transcript shows that I scored 60 and above in all my mathematical courses except for 100level. The idea is to move with mathematics gurus and you'll catch the fire. I remember, my friend who used to teach me micro and macro economics and econometrics as well. When the results came out, I scored so much higher than he did. Not that his score was poor becos he scored like 70 and I scored 85. Everybody was surprised. Also, mathematics require constant practice. Everyday, solve one maths problem. Next thing you know, you wn't even stress your brain tryin to solve a particular question. |
I swear, I've been using Airtel network since forever. And they were behaving well but now I don't know wat has happened to them. For over 2 weeks, I've been unable to browse and i keep calling their customer service. They just keep telling it will be rectified. Anyway, I got angry and went to buy an MTN sim which I just registered and will subscribe to their internet service as it appears that their service is kinda better. |
Jst give us the thread link. So we can pik up frm there. Thanks. And yes, dis is gud write-up. |

This story was sooo cooollll. A little bit confusing in d beginning but was so wow @ d endm Trying to imagine her face filled wit lov wen she saw her husband and d baby and d exasperation dat replaces it wen she sees the master bedroom. |
I've read all the replies that have been posted. From experience, I want to say ''I'm not happy that I can't speak my language'' but I wasn't taught the language. My dad's Urhobo. He has never, not once, spoken his language to any of us in the home. And when we tell him, he simply ignores us. As for my mum, She's Delta Igbo (kwale) , speaks yoruba fluently too but she never speaks her language to us. Not until recently and she doesn't speak it always. She'd probably just make a statement in her language and dt's it for d day. Why she even started speaking her language was cos I told her I hated wat they (my parents) did to me. And dt when they die,I would tell dat dey were lacking in one area. Not teaching us their language. Pple always tell me I could learn the language on d streets but hw many pple especially delta pple speak their language. We only know how to speak waffi. I'm sori my post was too long. |

Not that having the extended family is much of a crime. It's when thye become overbearing and difficult that it becomes a huge problem. |
Ok,no big deal in having family members come to visit. But the idea of family members coming to live in my home .I don't think I am receptive to that idea at all .They can come for visits, stay short periods of time but please not overstay their welcome. ![]() It's not really the idea of family members coming to stay in the home that's the problem,it's the interference they bring along with them.Esp. here in naija. It's that bad. They'd take everything you do as not right. And when you try to explain that this is how you want to make your home look like, they'd make you feel insignificant cos they'd want to try and control the home.In the husband's absence, of course. ![]() |
Cool. .Rily silly,El Guapo:Wat were they thinkin ![]() |
I had a similar problem. So when my BIS expired last month,i decided not to pay for the next month's BIS.I noticed that whenever i recharged my fone to make calls, all my msgs 'd come flooding in.When the credit is exhausted,d network goes off.And so I decided not to recharge my fone again.Instead,I'd make calls on my brothers' fone. Since then,i've been enjoying free BIS becos the network just came back on all on its own. And so,what I'd advice first is to stop recharging your fone and see if the network would come on.And yes,i use Airtel. |
cynthoney:The joke here is that her mother (the husband's mother-in-law) is indirectly kissin his ass. ![]() |
When i heard the new amount, needless to say, i was ![]() U dn't need to say it.Kerosine was sold at the rate of N1200 for a gallon.Very bad. We use a gallon for like a week. And we used to buy it at the rate of N500. And the new price is X2 of the initial amount. I've been cooking with charcoal since last week. If it was the price of fuel that was hiked in that manner,we would have seen so many protests in national newspapers. But now since it's kerosine and just about the whole community is using gas,it's not even like anything serious is happening. We have oil,bad management so we might as well be unable to enjoy it. |
I've been laffin my ass off. ![]() feelgood: |

Snails. Now,I dn't rily like dem.Wen i try to eat dem, i feel like puking. ![]() And Walnuts. My mum said not to buy them, talk less of eating them. Was so weird.I asked her why she said I shouldn't buy them. She just didn't give me any answer. I love walnuts and eat them.So there. ![]() |
Ranoscky:@ Ranoscky: Be nice,c'mon.There r more reasons than d one u gave. |
Oh,My goodness. This message is so sweet. It brings to light the fact that what a mother actually goes thru for her child is not something dt can be quantified or measured. To all d mums out there, and my mum especially- You're d very best. |
Don't bother. You'd spend all your life going thru the book and be thru wen you're old and rickety. Not such a gud idea.Just go with the flow. @ poster °◦ see as laff =D <//>. won . comot my _\\_ waist. ![]() |
