ueskman: As a friend will say, WITH GOD IS THE MAJORITY.I dunno about GEO & ECONS. Which textbooks do you currently have for English and Maths? |
Heeya, OBJ just dey turn-turn the poor guy. |
Welcome to 2013. This year, Ife go feel us. |
I Heartily wish happy new year to all of you on NL. May ur dreams & ambitions which are good and beneficial to Nigeria come to fruition. |
izzylove24: plz am writing my thesis now,can anyone help me with the name of the site i can visit to get an alraedy done research thesis to enable me gather more ideas in order for me to complete me thesis work? thanks God bless anyone that will render help. You will find such works in libraries of tertiary institutions. U may not find them in the general school library, but in the faculty/departmental libraries. |
2sexy: cool.. but try t see if you can channel whatever money you make from that to offline business. Thanks, when I find something that appeals to me, I won't think twice before investing. Offline Biz requires you to be present to do the work, or supervise those doing it. Am still a student, so I find it more convenient to work online, since I can work from anywhere, at anytime as long as I have my PC. |
@OP, Thank you for raising this very inspiring and informative thread. As for moi, I plan to resuscitate my online freelancing. This time, I will stop being jack of all trades and focus on one or two areas till I make a big reputation there. So help me God. |
adeoba124: Yesterday evening. My mum called a Professor in OAU, he's from the faculty of clinical sciences. He said all those who were admitted through on the jamb site would not be admitted by OAU,that Jamb cannot dictate for the school. He said only those admitted on the school portal are certain. He said the school would update the portal with admission list by late January Or Early February, & the school will resume April 4. Gbam. So dont be perturbed fellow aspirants. God is in control.Na real wa oh. What are we supposed to be doing till April? Incredulous! |
This is serious. Anyway, if u decide to go to CU or any of these church owned Unis, then you should know what you are getting into and be prepared to abide by all their church rules. If you contravene any, you face the music. |
Gentlemen, I think it is time for us to end the wahala. @Teaser4, forget what he said. He said it in the heat of the moment. @godstino, I hope to see u in ife. All is well that ends well. |
It is my opinion that most of our executives attend too many functions. Fgs, they would achieve much more if they could sit in their office and actually work. |
^^You think say u sabi box abi? Na one punch Knock out I go give you. |
@uceee thanks but try n understand him too. The both of u r right thou.
My guy keep the info coming. They are much appreciated. |
@godstino, I presume you have been following this thread for quite sometime. How come u have never responded with such hostility to any of the numerous Akpors jokes posted here? Is the topic now "Akpors and his exploits"? Mind u, I have enjoyed the jokes too. But is it not better to post OAU related gist of any kind than to post jokes? I fully understand your anxiety, but that is no reason to take out ur frustrations on us here (an entirely normal human reaction). Knowing fully well that there is nothing you or I can do to make the list come out a second before the authorities are ready to release it, I think it is best to just be patient, enjoy the jokes, debates and lap up any piece of info Binti Laye or anyone else provides. If you do not enjoy his info, or think it is irrelevant, at least appreciate the effort put into obtaining such info (I could easily sit here and post that the list will come out 2moro just to raise your hopes) or ignore it. If u crossed your departmental cut off and/or have made the right moves, there is nothing u can do now except to sit back and wait. At least we are certain that the admission lists will be released, and there will be a 2012/2013 session even if it will start in April 2013. Your name will be or not be in the admission list whether you eat or do not eat this Xmas season. |
godstino: if dem like mak dem lose dier school gate provided dey release dis damn list..cant imagin myself not being able to do anyfin on xmas day because of admission. Now that is a very nasty, disrespectful comment. You wouldn't mind losing your father today as long as you see your name on the list right? The quest for admission should not strip you of humanity. Wise up! |
Hello Nairalanders, I wish you all a merry Xmas and a prosperous new year. Make una enjoy the season!!! Make I quick rush kitchen. As mumsy no dey, na me get cooking services. |
Elebiju: Elebiju,Seun and Abrahamovic ahan u suppose know now shey u no do CRK for Ūя̲̅ secondary school ni,huh! See d result of bad education Ooº°˚ ˚°Olodo, dis wan wey u call na the three clowns. |
Emoticon: Hey! Google, how far na? Wetin dey hapun?...get ur answer @ www.news.google.com |
Oga google, wetin be the names of the three wise men? |
Before now, Gerd Muller was universally recognised and accepted as the world record holder for most goals scored in a year. Then Messi beat the record and Zambia suddenly remembered Chitalu. If he performed such an amazing feat, how come we never heard of him till now? This is just too bad from the Zambian FA. |
This is what Wenger will say: We showed a lot of mental strength to come back while trailing. We were just unlucky to lose by penalties. |
Who wants their Arsenal back? |
Enoquin: I heard about it last year...heard it's an attempt to stop piracy (photocopying the book instead of buying it)...the publisher said then that it was softly embedded in the book but once photocopied, the watermark will stand out...she claimed it was drastic but also said drastic measures were needed to stop piracyHmm...very drastic and unusual if this is true. Should have written something simpler. |
Double post. |
^^Virus successfully transmitted. Oya Joe4jo, send ur own mechatrons of virus. |
olorunnisola001: Can I choose OAU as second choice for next year utme and score 329 in utme and 290 in post-utme will I be admitted? course:- Petrochemical engineeringMy guy your way make sense oh. U don already calculate your jamb and post utme scores finish. With that jamb score, u should be able to get admitted into your first choice school. OAU may not admit you if you choose them as second choice. By the way, I don't think OAU currently offers petrochemical engineering. |
mufmarufali2: Please i have this o'level results: eng c5, maths c4, physics b3, chem c5 and econs c6, i want to study electrical and electronics eng. in OAU, am i qualified?I think u'll need a credit in another science subject like Biology or Agric. Econs might not be accepted. |
The singular worst problem Nigeria has is our cultural and religious diversity. We have very different orientations. What do we even have in common? That is why there is no sense of nationhood or a collective purpose to excel. Most would say the problem is our government, but our government is just a very clear reflection of the people. Everybody wants what is best for himself, his family and his tribe in that order. Who then wants what is best for Nigeria? Nobody. |
At least we will get a nice round of 16 tie against Barca. More boasting by Wenger: 12th consecutive season in the knock out stages of the UCL. |
Andre Uweh: Arsenal must win today and qualify, amenGod helps those who help themselves. |
![]() i had a drink with god of soccer last night ... he said he is not angry with arsenal but he stays where money is... and people that are ready to spend it
He was already drunk by then. |
Deep Sight: Honestly, for about three weeks after the incident, i felt ok, and just glad to be alive. But probably owing to some delayed reaction, in the last few weeks i find myself waking up almost ten times every night to go around and listen for noises in the compound and the street and check windows and doors. When I actually parked just because someone was behind me in traffic one day, realized what the effect of the incident has been.I understand you'll probably be extra paranoid now. What you need to do now is to take a break. Leave Lagos, travel abroad if possible. Just go for a holiday. When you get there, try not to discuss the incident as much as possible. You really do not need people pitying you. Then come back after some time. Handle this carefully so that you emerge stronger. Good luck! |
