If we check very well, there areas where this flyover is more needed than this junction. Setting priorities aright is a big problem to Nigerian politicians.

My state Governor is nothing to write home about.........thats the way to his village. no new development in the capital since he became the Governor

So this is based on the life of a cousin who relocated to nigeria briefly but is back in the uk to complete his masters. so we got to talking and this is the breakdown. so he had a studio apartment in osapa london lekki and total package including nepa light was part of service charge and lawma was part of it too, total package was 1.3 million annually. so this works out to in black market rate 1625 pounds a year. this works out to 32 pounds per week. and so in the UK the rent was 250 a week. the council tax ( their lawma ) is 20 a week and electricity is like 20 a week. thats 290 pounds a week compared to his lekki 32 pounds a week. so in essence in the UK his cost of living is 9 times what it is in nigeria. Isnt that amazing ?

Well,

Almost right, because mine wore it for 7years.

As an eligbile bachelor with the sole aim of chopping kpekus and not the slightest intent to commit, I was privileged to use an engagement ring to handcuff the devotion of an evening newspaper's kpekus to my dictates since she won't let me rest on the marriage matter.

Even after I got married to the lucky one, this lady who was more interested in wearing my ring, still wore the same engagement ring for 7 more years, serving me exclusive kpekus on a platter on a regular till I relocated.

It was even the little fear of God I had in me that made me tell her to throw away that ring and forge ahead with life because there was no marriage future with me.

She rained curses on me and swore I won't turn out well in life. But because I am wired differently, such curses always have the exact opposite on me. I've never known a better yesterday and my life is almost as perfect as in the movies.

Its' been donkey years now and I've not read of her suicide, so I can only believe that she's fine somewhere. Kpekus must have met it's actual owner.
