Ezegozie: Yeah, I’m currently doing my masters in Norway, I must say it’s different from what I heard before coming, it’s not like everything was a lie but they were too sugarcoated. As a student in Norway it’s difficult to get even student jobs because of the language barrier. Even if you eventually get lucky you can only get cleaning/dish washing jobs because you don’t have to speak the language to do such jobs. Then when you’re done with your masters contrary to what is out there, it’s not easy to get a professional job(at least not anymore since the oil price slump). So then you need to show a whole lot of money (in the region of 9-10million naira) to be considered for a job seeker visa for a year. 10 Likes |

NCO123: Got to www.studyinnorway.no and search for yourself. It’s not like you’re paying 5M, you will send it you your school, the school issues you a receipt which you’ll use to apply for visa , when you get to norway they would give you your 5m back 3 Likes 1 Share |

Hi UK visa gurus, please assist me with answers to the below question. I currently reside in Norway, I have a USA visa and I was in USA this summer. I plan to travel to Nigeria for Christmas with British airways from Frankfurt, I want to know if I would need a transit visa since there would be a stop at heathrow airport in London Note: I plan to stroll out of the airport to site see if possible |

yinkeys:your friend is right about winter, There are African stores and I must commend those guys, there are some things you will find there and be shocked how/why they brought them here. You’ll be wondering if anyone would ever buy them. The only issue is that African stores are very expensive compared to what is obtainable for the same item in Africa. You’ll get used to things being expensive sha because everything in Norway is expensive especially when you always convert to naira .lol 1 Like |

Tomcin:Eyah I understand your frustration, but (IN MY OPINION) I don’t advise you to get a remark seeing that 6.0 is two steps lower than the 7.0 you require so it’s difficult to get a remark that jumps two steps higher. But if you have the resources then you can try 1 Like |
