Well, Underground and Beautiful are the kind of songs I was looking for and he delivered on those two.

Yeah, Beautiful is easily the best song on the album. Thats the part of Em I really like, articulate , melancholic, introspective and witty all rolled into one. Its like "sing for the moment" and "When I am gone" rolled into one.

Nobody is questioning his wit or lyrical power. In my opinion , Em is the best lyricist in mainstream rap for a long time now (Luda comes a very close second).
I am just not feeling the re-cycled stuff on "Relapse". Its been 5 yrs since his last album (and even more since his saga with Mariah) , surely there should have been a lot more interesting stuff to talk about than Nick and Mariah, Kim and Jessica. Thats ma opinion , anyways.

I just thot the guy was Ok with his other albums.

Deeper than Rap , I must admit, blew me away. When I heard him dissing 50 on the song Mafia Music, I was like , Mayne, this dude is about to get his ass handed to him.

Listening to other tracks on the Album made me realize that this guy has enuff in the tank to face 50, especially given that 50 is garbage these days.
If Deeper than Rap becomes a wake up call for 50, then I hope to see 50 coming back as hungry like he was prior "Get rich or die trying" fame.
