Also i don't know if you realize it but ncnc was the only national party. Yorubas need to come straight with themselves about the ibos. I find it harder to like yorubas when they keep back stabbing and attacking the ibos.

Without Awo, Gowon, a semi-illiterate and ill-equipped HOS, could not have run Nigeria much less manage the economy of a country at war. Awo relieved him of that responsibility and effectively managed it. If the war lasted 30-months with Awo's stewardship, imagine how long clueless Gowon would have fought Biafrans with the participation of Awo and Ndi-Yoruba. Who among the North could have managed the war economy like Awo? Is it Shagari, the successor of Gowon, who wrecked Nigeria's economy as Executive President during the 2nd Republic? You folks ascribe so much intelligence to the Muslim North. They're politically dominant because of the cowardice and visionless of the South, especially Yoruba ethnic nationality. Intrepid01: Maybe you need to re-read what is up there with a more open mind. You don't fight War with emotions but with your Brain. The Barracks in the West were all under the control of the Northerners. Calling for war would have been catastrophic. And please droop your "theory" of the North would not have been able to defeat a combined East and West. If the North had the might, which they did because of the control of military with the backing of the UK Government, they will not only defeat the combined East and West, they will waste several millions.
When next you want to pick a fight with a neighbor or anyone, take a step backward and re-access your readiness. As many Igbo have voiced out, including Azikiwe, Ojukwu led Igbos to a blind war. A war that wasn't well thought of or planned. |

Politics › Re: How Tinubu Outsmarted Northern Politicians by Uchek(m): 11:30pm On Oct 28, 2023 |
That’s a LIE? MrEverest: If people can see the future, Northern politicians would have done everything they could to stop Tinibu.
Prior to the election, Tinubu convinced the likes of El Rufai and the rest to support him so they could be the ones in control. To buttress this point, he started acting like he was braindead. Each occasion he attends, he spew all manner of incoherent rubbish, remember bulaba and rat eating holy Communion among several other nonsense. Tinubu appeared so sick that he was always shaking and behaving like a vegetable.
El Rufai thought he would become the vice but when that didn't work out, he was convinced that chief of staff position was his and between him and Shetima, they will run the affairs of Nigeria like the days of sick Yaradua or even dumb Buhari. So, they took it personal and fought tooth and nail to see that Tinubu emerged as APC candidate and also had INEC declare him winner.
However, immediately Tinubu assumed office, he dropped all pretence and pounced on the Northern politicians. Firstly, Ganduje was humiliated before eventually endorsed. Then it was turn of El Rufai. Tinubu informed Akpabio to embarrass him and never allow the Senate to screen him. El Rufai assumed he will only stroll into the red chamber, take a bow and return to Aso rock to begin his new role. Alas, he got to the Senate only to face embarrassment. He thought it was a joke, even though it wasn't funny. So, he called Aso rock to clear the apparent misunderstanding but they either ignored him or told him to comply with them. He frantically tried to have audience with Tinubu in Aso rock but it failed. Then it downed on him that Tinubu has used and dumped him. To save face, he told reporters that he wasn't even interested in any post. Lol
El Rufai couldn't stand the humiliation, so he went on exile under the guise of going to further his studies
Today, Northern politicians are too shocked and humiliated to do anything, so they quietly lick their wounds. They've always had this superiority complex that they control Nigeria's political arena and dictate what happens, but Tinubu has completely emasculated them. Out of pride, they're still pretending to be in the same page. Worse still, they're increasingly becoming afraid of Tinubu who seems to be several steps ahead of them and is now playing the game of divide and conquer against them.
They're now trying to impeach Akpabio and enforce electoral laws that would make it difficult for Tinubu to ever win another election. Unfortunately for them, Tinubu knows their game plan and is using both money and executive power to neutralize their plans.
By the time Tinubu leaves office, Northern politicians will be humbled completely. |

GOD BLESS U! Antivirus92: Let me say the naked truth, there is no love lost between Igbos and Yoruba. If the word "hate" is too strong, then let me put it this way, Yorubas don't like Igbos, they champion the course of instigating Igbo hatred throughout Nigeria. Whether political or real, I don't know. They're perpetually afraid of Igbo being recognised or praised above them. A Yoruba can forfeit food for a week just to be online and portray Igbos in bad light. Anybody can talk and make noise in Nigeria, it's acceptable to a Yoruba as long as it's not from an Igbo person. So the truth is , Yorubas don't like Igbos, whether online or offline. I don't believe in sugarcoating words. We only tolerate ourselves. The funny thing is that the same Yorubas will do everything humanly possible to have Igbo gene in their bloodline. Igbos on the other hand because of the civil war and how the Yorubas always try to call them out and paint them black don't also like Yorubas. In fact, there's no love anywhere in Nigeria, contempt against the Igbo man unites the whole Nigeria and when the Igbo steps aside, an endless internal war of dominance is seen among the other ethnic groups. |

Ndi Yoruba?l tire! yemmit90: Nigeria is a very diverse country, restructuring is not what you just wake up and promulgate when a section of the country who are majority don't really want that to happen.

Great destroyer Tntsi: In less than 6months, the "builder of lagos" has destroyed Nigeria beyond recognition.
Chief tinubu has successfully Destroyed Nigeria globally as Nigeria is now officially ruled by a criminal/ forger gang. Destroyed Nigeria financially Destroyed Nigeria economically Destroyed Nigeria morally. Destroyed Nigeria constitutionally Destroyed Nigeria religiously Destroyed Nigeria judically. Destroyed Nigeria governmentally Destroyed Nigeria institutionally. Destroyed Nigerians reputationally... Every aspect of our nation is dead.
I said it months ago, that nothing good will come out from this desecration of our nation. Individuals with clean hands and favour with God will blossom and sail. But as a country and those that have a hand in these desecration, they are living dead. No matter what you have, you will cry.
I say it again, loud and clear, Nothing good will come out with the evil rooted in the land. Tinubu is a cancer in Nigeria. The land is desecrated that even the land could react.
It is not about appointment as even if tinubu appoints angels to work with him, Nothing good will come out.
The people I pity are those who think this is about their tribe. By November many of you will hit the street. By decemeber many of you may commit suicide. Nothing good can come out from evil, desecration robbery and fraud.
We will be here to know how far.
Just as Nigeria was been destroyed, I got the best news of my life as my documents with residency was sent to me today about the same time Nigeria was been destroyed.
Cheers to all. Hip Hip! Hurray!! I celebrate una òoooo. Planting is one thing. Reaping is another.
Nigeria is officially a forgery/ criminal state ruled by a criminal, forgery , identity thief etc. Executive , judiciary, legislative all desecrated in deep criminality.
The forger, the criminal judges, their families, the criminal gang, the criminal team and so on. Everyone will collect what he/ she has planted. No matter what you have acquired or embezelled, you will cry. |
