fxbot: He said if you bring your international card here and try to make payment in naira it won't work because these foreign banks don't want to pay charges. Just refuting that, cuz it's not true. It works in places were the merchants have gone out of their way to give them pos deliberately configured to accept international cards |

bayulll01: Foreign Cards work in some places such as intercontinental hotel, and places frequently visited by foreigners. It's not a 'foreign bank' problem it's an acceptance problem. Our pos are configured to run in naira for instance my friend came and ate here for N300 and it charged her bank as $300 so many pos here in Nigeria automatically blocks $ transaction as the back end cannot do the conversion. Has nothing to do with charges but more to do with inter switch and their configuration. Visa and MasterCard staff have staff who are working full time on acceptance to rectify this although they are meeting resistance from interswitch You can meet any epayment practitioner in the banks or a staff at MasterCard or visa to enlighten you properly |

fertilewomb: Been a silent reader. But the fact that someone thinks there is a reason on earth that makes this acceptable or excusable is the saddest thing i'v read all Year long. hmm, pls can you give us two imaginary scenarios that makes this excusable/ justifable in your books? what is it you imagine she could have done? even if she knacked another man. Lets even leave the beating, but to take the anger on his own pikin and the pikin's health i see you edited your post to say you are not justifying domestic violence. LOL. You have just justified domestic violence whether or not you admit it to your self or not what a sad country we live in. This is the reason why i prayed fervently for God not to give me a daughter. There are always two sides to a story no doubt, but pls where domestic violence is involved, pls settle your matter from afar o! before they break your head. someone that will not allow a sick child get medical advice when his/her mother is there, i shudder to think of what will happen to this pikin if you pass to yonder o! i think you summed it up nicely in your post by adding "NO SANE MAN" pls how do you deal with someone that is not SANE? from afar o! no body will wash hand and sit comfortably to partake in a meal with someone that is not sane a word is enough for the wise Kermit mode reactivated 23 Likes 3 Shares |

LadyGuinivere: 5 pages dedicated to it is ALL that is wrong. I for one I am against agent/ marketing and lazy newbies but we now overflog the horse even when it's dead and buried Why do we find it so hard to ignore. No one will tell an ignored person to read up!!! Meanwhile my idea of bullying is not even telling newbies to read up ( I have no sympathy for that) Ironically, same people that are witch hunting agents are the one promoting and advocating for pms. Hmm This whole bullying thing is about forcing our individual opinions down other people's throat. Case in point dr A of Chicago or wherever he practices from and also dr F Let people that had bad experiences post it by all means but it's people that haven't even used this drs that now add kerosene to fire and drag it to the point that it looks like a personal vendetta. I introduced dr Zimmerman to this thread, I dint even get the opportunity to use him, as I was planning to for my second baby, will I kill myself about him? No I used fagbohoun for my second baby and had a fantastic experience. I'm i using him this time? No, for cost saving reason This new dr E, I identified her and planned to use her immediately I heard Zimmerman wasn't taking patients even before she became the rave of the thread, did my research on her and found out that she had a malpractice / negligence suit against her recently, but I decided not to comment until I have used her. Our words can make or mar people, let's exercise caution pls especially for situations u dint experience first hand 14 Likes |

Agents will still pm and to be honest it's exhausting responding to pms not to talk about coming to check first who they are on the thread The name of the thread is costs and procedures not pm & advertise If not that someone uncovered doctoresperati and shared on this thread, they won't even know there is a thread like this, talk less of advertising on this thread. Same as soulcare, pampered stay and the rest of them. Yes, some have been abused such as mihs and even dr Zimmerman (which I personally uncovered) but it helped a lot of people at that time. Same way someone uncovering dr A is helping decongest dr F But it's all good, it's those behind I feel sorry for. I'm about to birth my last child. Sips tea dey watch like Kermit 26 Likes |

Justwise So I find a cheaper dr / hospital in Houston Are you saying I can't share on the thread anymore? I think this ur policy should be restricted to advertising & it's easy to tell which is advertising and what is not If not, u will kill the essence of this thread. What made part one successful wasn't just pOe / visa stories it was a lot of research and sharing and comparison 16 Likes |

nefertitiram: Speaking of receipts, I mentioned that I was asked to leave my receipts during exit at Houston but didn't. Well was invited to the embassy after trying to go through Dropbox. All they did was calculate whether I was pregnant during my last interview. Fortunately I wasn't so I was reissued the visa, they did not even check my receipts. 1 Like |

Olaideodes: Yes. My friend had a payment plan when she went to give birth at New Jersey. She was still paying when she got her visa renewed for her second baby (no Dropbox) I'm talking of 2011 here Although she dint admit to still owing, her bill was so high. She had c section and her baby went to nicu. The bill she had paid was large enough to pass as her total bill. Don't be discouraged, at least you are not taking insurance which Is even the easiest (but wrong way out). I'm sure you can still renew whenever you want to Not being let into the uS with zero balance is wrong info. Not every hospital / dr gives zero balance even after all debt has been paid 5 Likes 1 Share |
