I do not have a contact person there. I did not know anyone, and it was done effortlessly. Just make sure that you have all the requirements and paperwork, they will check for everything. They will also tell you where to buy the return mail from USPS or from other private courier companies.

Hello everyone. Please I have an issue that’s really bothering me. This is an unavoidable mistake as sponsorship letter is kinda a problem. My sis that stays in the states decided to help after I deferred my admission from fall to spring. So I used hers to get a new i20 for spring and I have an interview on the 1st of dec…....to cut long story short, I have different names as sponsors on my i20 and ds-160 form respectively, but I have just one bank statement which is my sister’s. How do I defend this?

I stay in Leeds UK right now. I graduated as a doctor but I'm not yet board certified here in the UK and so not practicing medicine yet.

UK is grappling with high cost of living amidst low wage and so i am contemplating moving to the US.
I could get a 2yr visiting visa to the US but what are the odds that I can easily convert that to resident status/greencard?

What might be the challenges that I need to factor in?

1. I am married and so I'm not looking to marry anyone else there
2 USMLE is a lengthy, grilling and expensive process and so i am planning that route for later not now

hello house, are they still strict on asking for birthing receipts on subsequent trips to the usa. we forgot the receipts and would enter the USA from a 3rd country in a couple of days time, so not enough time ror means to send the physical receipts.

alternatively do they accept/look at soft copies of the receipt at poe, cos thats the plan b. have someone forward the receipts via email

Are u sure of ur priority day cause Jan feb 2007 priority date with DQ feb 2020 has gotten visa since May this year in this platform

But his dq is April…

IL is by dq not P.D.

The original question posed was “ Has anyone applied for a USA visitors visa from the UK? which you replied except the person legally lives, work or study in UK.
My response was that it is possible to apply. My response did not include how likely or unlikely they are to be successful with their interview which typically will be underpinned by the strength of their application.
I’m sorry to hear your friends were unsuccessful with theirs. At least the count is now 3 that I’m aware of their successful application. I invited and sponsored 2 of the 3 to UK and also sponsored and invited the same 2 to US.
Yes, you’re also right, applying from home country is advised but the alternative exists.

PS: The people I referred to as successful are in their 60s. I’m not sure if it had anything to do with it

You need a lot of patience on this journey. You’v not even said what category you are applying for. Either ways your journey hasn’t even started so just carry on with your life and forget about this for now

Hello. Please i have been catching up with lots of visa thread. My dad left Nigeria last month on PR and he just got issued SSN this week. He's meant to file for me and my sister under F2B what's the wait time and how does the process work. Be open and honest about the pending immigration. Maybe in filling out your form try and explain your ties back to Nigeria after your studies

I got multiple b1/b2 with pending immigration and currently live in the USA now on a work visa however your case is tricky. The work visa is a dual intent visa but student visa isn’t.
