If you can answer this question correctly and you still compare your social media Player to Messi then keep deceiving yourself. Statistics is there to tell you who is better so go and read and get eduacted
The body that regulates football in the world is FIFA. Meaning, the FIFA award is the most powerful individual awards as a footballer. Ronaldo has more and any other player

A close look at the before photo, the guy in question look very much on point. He's never an illiterate. First, the Pam's slippers were very neat, his clothes well ironed and clean, then the smiles with the hart. I struggling doubt if this guy was ever a herdman. I feel he just used the stick to take a shot or photoshoot then. A regular herder won't be this neat considering our level of informal education

So, the latter photo is a testament of his lifestyle.

This iconic structure could fetch the country some IGR in terms of tourism. It's now left deserted. We're truly the reflection of our leaders

Go to Obalende/Ikoyi and see the FG's former councils wasting, when it can be renovated and made a mall or space for offices at a subsidized rate, firms will troop to rent them out, but no, we keep borrowing money from people who keeps doing the right things. At the end, the borrowed money will be looted

I weep for this nation

The day the ugly women association of Nigeria will reclaim our voice, no man in this country will have peace, the internet will scatter. Men must look at our potentials of being pretty and stop choosing pretty girls above us. angry

I have a personal experience. I was doing an internship in Nigerian Gas Company (NGC) Warri, a subsidiary of NNPC. So, during my Program there, I applied when the job opening came out. Wrote the exams in Uniben 2012. Then, I was sent a congratulatory mail. I was also sent another one to prepare for the next face which is an interview in NNPC tower Abuja. The first schedule was cancelled in 2013, the second schedule for the interview was in February 14, 2014 which now happens to be the presidential election day that year. It was shifted with apologies to another date. That shifted date never came to pass

When I called my bosses to find out what was going on with the pending interview, they were shocked to see new guys, most from overseas northern guys, families of politicians and the high and mighty's children across all the subsidiaries in our positions. No complainces to Federal Character or whatever. That was how my job processes of over 2yrs was taken over by money bags

There was even a trend created here on NL then for that recruitment exercise

I was a sad one... I couldn't recover for years

Well... Dating both categories is relative in terms of altitudes and drama

I've dated an older lady before, her drama was more than necessary. She suspects me too much, no single trust due to her past relationship experiences. I had to call it a break

Few weeks from now is my wedding, just in the final phase of preparation, I can tell you, my fiancee is young and intelligent. Well mannered far more than the older lady.

If God wants to bless a man, He gives him a good woman, irrespective of the age

In conclusion, dating either the old or young lady, what matters is love, respect and above all, peace of mind

Tfare is one of the cheapest in UK and US. Primary and secondary schools are free and when you want to go to the university or college, you can get loan for it and repay when you start working...

This is called social structure... What's the basis for comparison when just 2lts of PMS in Nigeria is almost 1% of the minimum wage

We've not even talked about the social welfare for senior citizens. If you give birth in their hospitals, there are welfare packages for you as a mother and the child

You clearly don't understand social welfare... Ask for the price of a full chicken in the UK and US and see how cheap it is, then, compare it to Nigeria

In Nigeria, a bag of rice is more than our minimum wage. Our purchasing power in Nigeria is very low, if not the lowest in the world

Going by your argument, any state a presidential candidate fails to secure 25% of vote cast there, he or she should not be regarded by the people of that state as president, even though he meets up with other constitutional requirements.
But the same you want Obi to be declared president of Nigeria even though he only secured 25% in 16 states and only secured majority votes in 12 out of the 36 states and Abuja!
Can you point where I said Obi should be declared? What has killed us as a nation and it's still killing us is being myopic and ignorance

I stand for the law and the land and not for any individual

The FCT isn't a state, it's an Area Council and therefore, the president is the governor of the Council, being said, he's made to have 25% of the FCT being the capital. The FCT represents different tribes, regions and religion. So, it's a perfect sample. The Constitution isn't stupid

So, I speak in line with the Constitution and not what other says

INEC has buried the case in a simple and clear few sentences. You didn't tell court, your Lawful votes wrongfully deducted or illegal votes fraudulently added to the winner.
You clearly didn't follow the case or you followed it blindly. Evidences were provided that lots of polling units results were altered, there were tendered, also, in the INEC IREV portal, thousands of results were also not readable, blurred and witnesses were brought in, those were also tendered as evidence, so, does Obi and LP needs anymore claim to state that they won the results. It's just for the court to know what to do with the evidence.

They can order for a recount via the evidences or do what they want with the evidences. Why did INEC in their response not address the issues of blue results or results not uploaded? Why did INEC not address the issues of altered results

Better calm down and wait for every interested party for their final statements. Go see how INEC witness flopped during the interrogation in court

So if I get 90% of total votes,but I didn't get 25% in Abuja,then I can't be President?
How does that make sense.
Are you aware that one can have the highest number of votes and still not win the election if the party doesn't win according to the Constitution, that is, 25% in 24 states? Having the highest of vote isn't the issue, the votes must be spread to show acceptability. Mind you, the Constitution has been there before the election, so, even the parties are aware of this. In US Hilary Clinton had more votes than Trump...

What matter is the Constitution and not sentiments or whatever. This is to ensure the president isn't a regional president

Listen to yourself does your statement sound convincing even to you,
In a democratic settings, the only requirement to emerge winner over a state is to have Majority vote in whatever % as long as it resonate majority.

Having 25% in FCT does not resonate ACCEPTANCE from lens of democracy lets not even argue that nonsense

Democracy entails Equality and Majority,

1.superiority of FCT over other states rules out Democracy
2. Eligiblity of 25% to control FCT defiles Majority rule which is sancrosanct as well.

However, one thing is clear here, you are the one misinterpreting the electoral act, for instance ikeja is the capital of lagos imagine not declaring sanwo olu winner becos he lose ikeja LcA sho make sense wink

I asked a question, IF you say the president doubles as governor of FCT then what does Minister of FCT stand for ??
For an election that has more than two contestants, it's correct, 25%

Take the study of your Constitution seriously

Can you mention one governor presiding that won his state by " 25% "
Going by your assumptions, if the constitution portrays the president as the governor of FCT, does 25% suffice as majority,

if 75% of FCT voted against Tinubu how does getting 25% make him change anything, from all point of logical reasoning. if we must treat FCT seperately i put it to you getting 25% is not enough to be a leader anywhere, 75% is a lot to ignore someone must have misinterpreted the law cheesy

democracy is all about majority and that is why we must treat FCT as 37th state to give aggregate that will resonate majority

Lastly, if you maintain the president is the governor of FCT then what does "FCT minister" stand for.
You clearly don't know the Constitution. Even if the presidential candidate has no opponent, he has a certain percentage of vote he must get before pronouncing him the winner. Winning isn't about who has more votes or who won more states, it's about who won according to the Constitution

How can one govern and leave in a place less than 25% voted for you? That is calamity. It shows you're not welcomed even before taking responsibility. This is why it's called an Area Council
PoliticsRe: Here Is Why Peter Obi Is Next In Line If Tinubu Is Disqualified by udeh3(m): 12:10pm On Jul 17, 2023
PROPHETmichael:
I'm for Peter Obi but stop confusing yourself because the constitution is very clear.

"A candidate for an election to the office of President shall be deemed to have been duly elected where, there being more than two candidates for the election, he has the highest number of votes cast at the election; and must have nothing less than one-quarter of the votes cast at the election in each of at least two-thirds of all the States in the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.”

Let me make this simple for you, It's like asking how many states are in Nigeria? The answer usually goes this way, there are 36 states in Nigeria and a federal capital territory.

A candidate is not required to obtain at least 25% of the votes in Abuja to be declared the winner. According to Section 134 (2) of the CFRN 1999, a candidate for the presidency must have the highest number of votes overall and must receive a minimum of 25% of the votes in at least two-thirds of all the states in Nigeria, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

This means that if a candidate achieves at least 25% of the votes in each of 25 states out of the total 37 states (including Abuja), they would fulfill the constitutional requirement, regardless of whether they obtain 25% of the votes specifically in Abuja.

Therefore, a candidate who secures the highest number of votes and at least 25% of the votes in 25 states does not need to meet the 25% threshold in the FCT Abuja in order to be declared the winner.

So therefore, No Abuja Votes Required.
Oga, Nigeria is made up of 36 States simple! The FCT was defined as the second component of the Constitution. It also went on to discuss the formulation. It was clear on it definition of Abuja as an Area Council which is headed by the president
PoliticsRe: Here Is Why Peter Obi Is Next In Line If Tinubu Is Disqualified by udeh3(m): 11:55am On Jul 17, 2023
Throwback:
Stop increasing the potential of your misery.

Tinubu is the President and does not require a single vote in FCT to be validly declared the winner of the election he won.

25% of 2/3 of all states and FCT is the totality of Nigeria, as Nigeria is made up of States and FCT.

Did Tinubu score 25% in 2/3 of that totality of 37 units?

Yes!

Move on with your loss.
Abuja in the Constitution isn't a state. FCT was defined in the Constitution. Please, get your facts right.

Nigeria comprises of two components in the Constitution;
1. The states
2. The FCT. One must get 2/3 of the two components

The Constitution defines the meaning of the states which are 36 while it went forward to define what FCT means. FCT is regarded as an Area Council headed by the President as the governor. So, if you must be the president of the council, 2/3 is the requirement

So, the Constitution isn't wrong to always note state and FCT. They're different entities So, get 2/3 in 24 states and 2/3 of the Area Council which is FCT Or do you win a state as a governor without winning 25% of the state, if we so consider FCT as a compulsory state? This is the council that houses all the Federal bodies

From the beginning in Section 2 (2) the Constitution distinguishes the states and FCT providing that “Nigeria shall be a Federation consisting of States and a Federal Capital Territory”

Then, section 134,
(b) he has not less than one-quarter of the votes cast at the election in each of at least two-thirds of all the States in the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

FCT is a special place. It has the unique look of Nigeria and was developed solely with tax payers funds. Which state is like Abuja? Which state is the President the governor? If not Abuja. This is defined word for word in the Constitution
