Remember a laptop technician friend telling me that you can't fix all the laptops in the state you're working,there will always be job for everyone.

Confuse set of people.

Another remarkable thing happened to me while I was on my way to Abuja on another journey. This time it wasn't a robbery or bandits' attack, but something entirely different.

Now, I've also heard several people share their painful experiences about how they lost their luggage in the course of their journeys, but I had never experienced such in my life.

But on a certain day while I was traveling from Port Harcourt to Abuja, it was that close.

We had just gotten to Zuba, and parked at the bus stop to drop off some passengers.

I was at the back seat when the Siena stopped, but after they alighted, i thought about changing my position to the passenger seat at the front, since the seat there was empty.

So I did just that, but after the vehicle had began to moving, something just made me look at the side mirror of the Siena, and when I did, I sighted my two bags which I was traveling with, on the floor behind the car and by the side the men who had just alighted from the vehicle.

Immediately i called the attention of the driver and told him to stop, that I saw my bags on the floor. So he stopped the car and reversed to the point where my bags were. So i immediately got down from the car, and took my two bags and put back into the boot of the car. The men who had brought down my bags from the car had a dazed look on their faces, but I didn't even say anything to them, whatever their intentions were, I just took my bags put them back into car, and went back to the front seat, and the driver zoomed off.

That was how close I came to losing my luggage right in the middle of now where.

For those who know the bus stop in Zuba where vehicles going to Abuja drop off some of their passengers, they would understand how close it was. It wasn't like in a park where someone could come back to ask for his things, but a transit point on the road, where people traveled to different parts of the country. The guys who brought my bags down from the car said they were on their way to Jos or so, so that would have surely been it... There was no way I could have possibly gotten back my bags from those guys.

But it seemed God thought otherwise, hence He made me to take that quick glance at the side mirror at that crucial moment when the car had already taken off.

That the only reason why I haven't yet lost my luggage while traveling up til date.

The driver should be the one to be blame had it been your luggages went missing.

How can he just sit and allow passenger to pick their luggages alone without being there knowing fully well that there are other luggages there too.

To what end?

Fault: Dead.

This sony mobo was brought in for repair,mobo was completely dead.
Someone already checked it and confirmed the SIO is bad and need replacement,well for me you don't change an ic until you confirm the ic is faulty and the best way to do that is either you confirm it basic requirements or you can see a physical damage on it.

Impedance was fine, 19v was present and standby ic was also fine, 3v/5v is available.

I check the basic requirements if the SIO and all was fine except for RSMRST#

The SIO will send RSMRST# to the PCH to release the SLP_S3# and SLP_S4#.

Now If SIO is not releasing this then it's either the SIO is faulty,it is not getting all basic requirements or the BIOS is corrupt.

Since all requirements are present except for rsmrst# ,we start with the simplest first, Which is reprogramming the BIOS chip.

I removed the chip and place on my bios programmer ,read it and noticed the chip was empty,I downloaded another file and write it, soldered it back to board , allow it cool and press the power button and mobo came back to life.

Took me less than 15mins, customer is happy and I'm happy too.

Sometimes before they are given that position at the party, agreement must have been made, those who possibly handed over will be compensated, those who contributed money for her campaign will be compensated, either monthly or yearly, then the big oga's at the party will also be compensated either monthly or yearly.

Pls take the laptop to a laptop technician for servicing.

You might think since it is working fine there's no need but I want to let you know that there is a thing call corrosion.

When water drop on a particular ic, it stays there and dried up and begin to cause corrosion, with time the ic legs will start eating up and before you know there will be no contact with it and the motherboard.
Now depending on the type of ic, you will either get a no power case or power on no display case.

As for the screen, use it like that till it is time to replace it.

As a laptop technician, I've seen a lot of cases like this, laptop will work fine but is dying slowing.

If you can,take the motherboard out,wash it with soap and water or fuel and sun dry it , make sure it is properly dried , you can use heat gun/dryer to dry it again before coupling it.
