It is surprising that lots of you can't identify the lack of coherence in the OPs narration. From his narration, I suspect he is a problematic tenant.

Let me point out a few:
1. He claimed he just moved into the house, but he failed to specify when exactly he moved in and how long he has lived there
2. He said once his rent expires, the caretaker usually contact him. That shows that this is not the first time he is renewing his rent there. It also gives an indication that whenever his rent expires, he has to pressed before he pays.
3. His girlfriend had an issue with the landlady. Are you not surprised the girlfriend is having an issues with the landlady of a new house he just moved into. If he has lived there for say 5 years with the girlfriend, it is understandable that misunderstanding is bound to happen occasionally over a long period
But for him to have issues in a short period he claimed to have resided there, the problem seems to be coming from him and his so called girlfriend.
While I understand that some house owners are problematic themselves, and it is more difficult to deal with a landlady than a landlord, a tenant that minds his own business will rarely run into trouble with such house owner even if they are from hell.

I did not bother to read the whole story as the start already gave me an indication of his kind of person

This is the problem I'm having with some of you here.

You guys are making it look like it's a very big sin to have a misunderstanding with your landlord or landlady.

I'm trying to let you guys know that things like this can happen especially in a compound where the landlord/land lady is staying,it doesn't mean it can't be resolved.

Some of you expect the tenant to always do yes sir / yes ma to everything and anything, which I believe is wrong.

That's my own issue.

There is how you handle a landlord/landlady, they would know underneath you are a mad person, but you are just giving them their respect. Except the owner of the house is plain difficult, then you shouldn’t even be living there. The time you use in fighting them, use it to build your own house or move out. I see no need for some kind shouting Nigerians engage in every other day. Totally pointless.

If that's tact then why are we clamouring for a change in government instead of just having regards for the constituted authority.
Why not just put up with everything the government throw at you because you have regards for leadership.

Just because you don't want your land lord to give you quit notice,you must do whatever he says even if it doesn't make sense.

I've seen some people doing the most silly things at work just because they don't want to lose their job but will complain bitterly about it in secret.

Nobody will wake up one day and just decide to cause trouble, talking about building your own house cause your land lord is being difficult,let me tell you this, everyone won't be a landlord or land lady, and moving out is not as easy as you put it.

Well some land lady can be funny,I have a friend that had an issue with the land lady.

The water pumping machine switch is in their room and they have to dictate how many times they will use water,and the funny thing is if it get spoilt the tenants will be the one to fix it.

I can never stay in the same house with the landlord/landlady.

The funny thing is if you go against their rule,you automatically turn an enemy, because he or she is the owner of the building,you must do whatever they say,and when you don't,you're labeled a bad person.

Most yorubas are ass lickers, that's why you see some landlord saying they want only Yoruba tenants because those ones will gladly do anything they say or want unlike Omo igbo.

Fault: auto shut down.

According to the engr, immediately he connects the charger,it powers on , display the HP logo and shut down.
If he press the power button it doesn't power on,unless he remove the charger and plug it back and the circle continues.

Since this is a typical fault of this models, I replace the 100k resistor with a 20k resistor, 3.3v ldo voltage goes to the power button which was absent.
After replacing it I got 2.6v, this is enough to trigger the mobo.
Board works perfectly after that.

This Toshiba board was brought in for repair, I check the board for any physical damage and there as none , then proceed to the impedance of all coils to check if there is any short but there was none.


I connect the power supply, and 19v is available on the drain of PQB03 but not at the source,I check the gate voltage and is low, which is suppose to be 25v.
Check the impedance of both MOSFET and it was okay,since the gate voltage comes from the charging ic,I decided to check the basic requirements, I noticed ACOK voltage was 0.589 instead of 3v.

I replaced the charging ic and 25v was available at the gate of PQB03 and the 19v switch to the source .
After powering on the mobo also noticed
PUH00 was heating up,I replace the ic and mobo works perfectly.

It took me less than 25mins to get it done.
