This is my problem with my fellow Nigerians. We are heaping curses on him while forgetting he is a soldier taking orders. A soldier can never refuse orders from his superiors.

Yes he will also pay for the the crime committed but greater curses should be placed on thise that sent him to do the deed. I went to a military secondary school and know how the military operates. If he is given orders and he refuses he will be locked up in the guardroomfirst, then court marshalled and dismissed disgracefully.

Who are those at the helm of affairs that ordered these killings or aggressive ambush by the army? Because you don't expect the army to quell a protest with no bloodshed. It doesn't work that way. This brigadier general, his superiors and the politicians be it the president, state governor that all sanctioned the military onslaught that led to the loss of lives all are guilty and will definitely get their punishment one day. Enough said.

This is what happens in a state where you have a rubber stamp governor. A state governor that cannot take decisions on his own without consulting his godfathers. A governor that is a puppet.

A strong willed governor will resist the invitation of the army to crush peaceful protesters. A real governor will approach all protesters from the very first day of the protests in all the protesting locations to calm the protesters. You think the duty of a governor just lies in sitting in his air conditioned office and signing documents? Go to civilised nations and see how governors are workaholics.

When you contest for such a position be ready for the responsibilities it takes to succeed in that position. Shame.

For now no date has been announced. It's a 24 hour curfew meaning no movements until further notice.

With the disastrous turn the Lekki protest took last night, expect the curfew to remain in place. Lagos state is in a dark place right now with a puppet of a governor handling the affairs of the state.

This is the exact question on my mind too.

Yesterday as I watched the videos of hoodlums releasing prisoners from the prison, burning police stations, hospitals, banks and killing a policeman I just knew the protest had taking a very dark sinister direction.

Now my question is this: is it possible to calm thousands of aggressive and armed hoodlums without loss of lives?

As for the Lekki toll gate incidence I totally blame the government because these were genuine peaceful and armless protesters without weapons. Sanwo Olu and the government should be blamed for those killed in the Lekki protest. Sanwo Olu just proved himself to be a rubber stamp governor who takes orders from someone else in issues that pertains to his states governance. Shame, shame, shame.

You thought the best gift after lockdown and it's attendant economic effects on the people is to increase FUEL PRICE and ELECTRICITY TARIFFS. The people made attempts to register their displeasure but NO, you shouted them down unleashing your agents to rein them in, yes they did and the people went home and yet waited.

Now they saw an opportunity in #ENDSARS, they came in large numbers, you tried but failed to scatter them.

They saw how jittery you are and knew that you are not as hard as you look, they exerted more blows and you are shouting what more do they want?

This fight is beyond #ENDSARS it is a call for justice and a LOUD EXPRESSION of our displeasure with the cluelessness you give us as governance.
