Sequel to the just concluded elections , I have decided to get out of this country forever. To be sincere i have raised 6 million naira in cash but dont want to invest it here due to unfavorable climate .

Kindly list out 1st world country i can relocate to and the steps to take to achieve it.

Your kind input would forever be appreciated
mizwisdom

did I not tell you that with a Buhari win; more of this will happenhuh

@OP

depending on your size of family, you can try Canada express entry with that money

But you will have to write ielts and evaluate your certificates

that's the best option I can think of.

Australia runs a similar system too.

Not true. There is a difference between control and influence.

They can influence the economic policies but they can’t control the economy. Igbos businesses have been able to survive because of their ability to adapt to external influences.

Once again there is a difference between influence and control.

Unless Nigeria becomes communism.
I don hear you.

I Never said that role is not important but he that pays the piper calls the tunes. Igbos should focus on economy as they always have. It will serve them well in the long term.

A post oil economy in Nigeria will be a gold mine for igbos. They are already positioned to take advantage of it. They just need to be strategic.
cheesy cheesy

you see, you are one of them

I thought as much

Make una continue down this path

when it happens, I know I tried to tell as many people as I could.

Make NO MISTAKE

he who controls the politics and the structure/institutions control the economy /country

I don talj my own

They day those so called establishments decide to “deal with igbos” as you put it is the Day Nigerian economy will crash. This is a statement of fact.
and who will suffer from the economic crash?

lmao

only if you knew

But then

it was just an illustration to show how important that role is

I am sorry but what determines that one depends on government that you have said severally?
How do you also determine that you are economically better than the South West.
Economically, most south West states are better and have more middle class than the South East, have more IGR than south east states.
I toured Ibadan(around 95℅ Yoruba peopled... you can try confirming this too)last week and with its vastness,I was shocked to see the beehive of activities as per modern houses been developed here and there(I will implore you too to do this and come back and tell us who is poorer between Yorubas and Igbos.
You have very scanty buildings in Igboland which cannot be compared to Ibadan.
The truth is the UNDP,NBS,WORLD BANK had correctly said that Igbos are the most poverty stricken in the South of Nigeria.
Igbos having scanty buildings is NOT true

The policy makers control the economy

Me personally, igbos need to focus more on dominating Nigerian economy. The Jews in America influences their politics because of their economic dominance. When oil money runs out, those with the economic power will call the political shots. For now let’s focus on economic development through our perseverance and hardworking nature.
Oga
The Igbos are the most fragile ethnic group in Nigeria

and the worst part is that most of them cannot see it.

I'd be in onitsha again this June/July briefly
I'd hear our uncles boasting

that they run the economy, bla bla bla.

BUT

The institutions and policy makers that DETERMINE Whether you suceed or fail in Nigeria is firmly in Aboki hands

you have zero control over that.

The jews often capture that first, the big banks, the central banks, etc

The day the establishments decide to deal with igbo people and their so called "businesses" ; what can we as igbos do about that?

when the policy makers keep making bad policies that kill businesses
what can an ordinary trader or at best an "industrialist'" somewhat dohuh

when I tell them

they laugh and scorn

Illiterate

I think it’s time to resurrect this thread. I predicted this election and it turns out that I was right.
Igbos contributed to the defeat

first of all many did not go to register for pvc,you guys were forming "I'm busy"

even for some that collected, they did not come out to vote

The Igbos (especially back home in the SE) are politically naive and immature

A lot of Igbos were listening to that fool nnamdi kanu, now look at the results

And a whole lot more

even the so called SE foolish leaders that disrupted electoral processes in their states to pave way for a Buhari win, in exchange for a pittance, (Okorocha especially) you guys are another problem.
The north will NEVER disrupt electoral processes in their states for a southern candidate, NEVER EVER

now Buhari will extend his incompetence by another four years, and you have to live with it.
worst is that you cannot even complain, because when you had the chance to protest via vote, you blew it!

Now go back to second fiddle in Nigeria's affairs

The day my kinsmen know the power they have in their numbers, and bandy together, that's the day we will be seen as serious people

But for now, the country sees Igbos as unserious people politically

Honestly democracy is not a perfect, think of this, it is only in democracy that the vote of a beggar, a tout, a fool, an idiot, a slowpoke, a nonentity, one that doesn't know his left or right, will be the same as some one that knows what he want. Democracy aint a perfect government , it have flaws which America knows ,that is why they introduced Electoral vote who is one to two of popular vote , can they introduce graduate illiterate vote in Nigeria where a graduate vote will be five to one of that of an illiterate, the Senate have to do something, but i trust the Northerners, over their dead bodies they will never approve it, and guess what they control the senate, the army, the police, they decides who rules and who does not.Reasonable Nigerians rise up and fight illiterate voting scam system brought by the British devised to keep Nigeria forever in bondage., Majority of Northerners are fanatics illiterates, cow heads, doesn't know good about life that why Book haram will never go, because no one enlightens them, every one there is delusional.
