Politics › Re: The Black Africans Who Ruled Europe From 711 To 1789 - Pics by Ugosample(m): 7:36pm On Apr 07, 2017 |
LordAdam16: My first post on this thread gave great insight about the fact that black Africans would certainly have achieved a lot in ancient civilizations. There were black people in Egypt so it is conceivable that there were black people in Rome, Greece, and Christian Europe.
The issue however is not achievements, it is African supremacy.
Don't mix the two. Achievements is I did something. Supremacy is I did something and I am better than you.
And as I said, while we can acknowledge the achievements of black Africans as individuals and even as a people in sub-Saharan Africa, we SIMPLY CANNOT translate that to African supremacy. That's a line we MUST not cross because all evidence point to the contrary.
A few pages ago, Rossikk was mentioning paved roads in Ife as proof of African supremacy and I reminded him that Egypt already had paved roads at least 2000 years before Oduduwa existed.
So, while you can call Ife paved roads an achievement like we can call Bini art an achievement, we cannot call it evidence of black African supremacy. Because the people these uninformed people claim to be superior to have had far grander achievements for centuries before our core sub-Saharan civilizations existed.
Don't praise yourself by lying about someone else.
Earlier on, they were subtly claiming the Moors started the wave of cleanliness in Europe by building many public baths. Whereas ancient Romans already had the practice of building public baths.
They're doing the exact same thing the White Supremacists were doing in the 18th century. Lying through their teeth.
The difference between white supremacists and black supremacists is color of skin. Deep down they're all crazy, nasty people.
-Lord I kinda understand you now, and buy into your thoughts about the supremacy part too. I see |

LordAdam16: Is Egypt in sub-Saharan Africa?
PS: Look at the attached for proof that ancient Egypt and Nubians were mixed. Ramses is light-skinned. One of his lieutenants is dark-skinned. The Nubians he is crushing are both light-skinned and dark-skinned.
Which is why I've been echoing black sub-Saharan civilizations and you lots are quoting North African mixed civilizations.
-Lord The Egyptians back then were mostly of dark skin The hieroglyphs prove that |
Politics › Re: The Black Africans Who Ruled Europe From 711 To 1789 - Pics by Ugosample(m): 6:36pm On Apr 07, 2017 |
Braden2: Race or skin color is totally irrelevant . We now have the technology to depigment a dark skin or Tan a light skin. Rhinoplasty to shape a person's nose however they desire. Hair transplant, etc. All of these will only improve and become more affordable and available with time . if all humans have a good quality of life , there'll be no racism and discrimination. Poverty breeds bad behaviour ,and in this world ,most black people are poor and black nations underdeveloped . Most white nations are developed and majority of whites have a good Quality of life than blacks . This does not in anyway mean that blacks are inferior or white is superior . If a black person is raised in a good environment and has good quality of life, the individual will lean towards a polite and studious outlook . if a white person is raised in a ghetto or trailer park, the individual will lean towards bad behaviour and negative outlook .THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BEVERLY HILLS AND COMPTON IS NOT RACE BUT CLASS.
black people are looked down upon and demonized in society because most African nations and societies are underdeveloped with poverty, diseases, crime etc. when you think of black ,the subconscious images come to mind :inferior, slave, backward, gangster, thug, thief, poor, dirty, etc. and that's the image propagated by the media into our minds. Even if all humans are white, those who live in trailer park will be looked down and discriminated.Whether or not that black person wears a suit and carries bible . that image is already embedded in the subconscious mind . Majority always take the vote. Poverty breeds bad behaviour and culture. for example ,gangster rap, sagging of pants, all originated from the black ghetto as a form of rebellion towards a perceived oppressive system. Punk rock and metal and biker gangs and tattoos originated from trailer parks . If the individual grew up in a sane environment, would they behave that way?Probably not. Everything wrong in this world has been deliberately orchestrated. Ghettos and underdevelopment are manmade .no one is inferior . all humans desire to have a good quality of life and live in a sane environment.
When Europeans arrived Africa, there was no racism. They traded for many centuries . when the Americas was discovered ,labourers (or what we now know as slavery) were needed . The British and Spanish kings sent message requesting labourers from the African kings. Prisoners of wars were sold to the Europeans . When the kings saw that the business was profitable ,they instigated more wars and captured more criminals of wars and sold to the sailors. British and Spanish prisoners were appointed as supervisors at the plantations in the Americas, just as some were shipped to Australia . They took out their anger on the slaves and treated them cruelly in order to feel superior and feel better about themselves. The Europeans had a civil relationship with the ordinary Africans in Africa. Institutionalized racism all began when everyone who had a dark skin like the slaves were now viewed as inferior whether or not your ancestors were slaves or not. whether you are black Zimbabwean or African american, you are simply viewed as slaves. This is the same way a white Romanian or Serbian may be respected by Africans despite the fact that Serbia is poor. That British ,French and Spanish glory simply affects all whites while slavery affects all blacks. Very nice and intelligent contribution This captured my thoughts well |

I just realized why nigeria is in the state it is in. when a people support mediocre that land can only produce mediocre.
Everybody just shouting efe, and i have tried to analyse ans see whe he is deserving of such praise and i cant find any *at least compared with the other contestants*. if we were to base it on tallent well, he is not in the top.. *no hating, just facts*
-In terms of enterntainment, he claims to be a rapper but hes spits very wack barrs.. Bassy is way much better at rapping than efe. -Hes story of coming from humble background and fighting to get to where he is, that goes to debbie rise. I mean have you watched her audition from way back on nigerian idol? and the girl is actually talented with the gittar -Bisola has an amazing voice, she is a very good singer -TTT is very good at leadership and directing, he stired the house to win their wager in an amazing presentation in the 3 or 4th week. -Acting, bisola, uriel and bassy carry the prize here. -Dancing, bassey, debbie rise, TTT, mavrins and bisola. -Fittness, All the guys i the house were more fit than he was, he couldnt exercise to save his life during the boot-camp. -Eloquent, this goes to bassey and somewhat bally.
All he did was constantly trying to explain himself and saying he is "real"
Efe although tried better, belongs to the pack of Tboss, mavris, gifty, Bally *maybe at the top of this pack*.
so there are way more people deserving to win it than the person projected to win *efe*. From what i can tell its all driven by sentiments and loyalty to tribal divides and not actual entertainment. Thank you very much TTT was dope, but they voted him out for stupid reasons What we should evaluate is performance not sentiment That is why Nigeria keep voting fools into office |

African with any form of intellect should stop referring Africans as Black. The term Black for human is one of the remnants of slavery, man’s inhumanity against human. It is beyond the pale of imagination why an African will arrogate the term Black to him/herself. Thank you very much You are very intelligent On what basis is one called a "black" or white? LordAdam16: Stop lying.
The Egyptian central bank recently forecasted further appreciation of the Egyptian pound. Consumer confidence is not at an all time low. Egyptian foreign reserve has grown to $28.5b--the highest since 2011.
I wonder what you gain from lies. The same you calling the $9b surge in FDI a surge from "criminal international capitalists" is the same person who'd be talking about stabilizing the naira so the same "criminal international capitalists" can bring their money to the real and portfolio sectors of the Nigerian economy.
How can you demonize something you desperately ask for?
The IMF has asked the CBN to devalue since 2014. After the initial stubbornness, the CBN eventual did a managed float. So, what kind of sick patriotism are you talking about. Nigeria will eventually float the naira fully. Taking that pill now that the fall is estimated to be less than 20% is better than waiting until another oil price war happens between Saudi Arabia and the US.
The IMF has its interest, and Nigeria should have our interest. If a free float should be a way to attract FDI and reduce pressure on our reserves, then we should take advantage of it.
When the IMF recommended SAP to Babaginda in 1987, it didn't stop Babangida from stealing over $12b in one year in 1991 (the gulf war windfall). Between 1987 and today Nigerian leaders have stolen over $150b. Yet you people have a way of blaming the IMF for recommending SAP, when it was our leaders that ruined the implementation.
If our leaders can't look out for Nigerian interest, why should the IMF look out for our interest?
Or do you think the IMF is actually NCF (Nigerian Charity Fund)?
Buhari claims to have released N1t directly into the economy in 2016. Did you feel it? It took us 18 months to come out with an Economic plan... 18 months. Is that one the fault of the IMF too? Or when Buhari was maintaining hard stance with the NDA last month that cost us of over $20b in oil revenue. Was that one the fault of the IMF too?
You have stupid leaders and an equally unserious populace and you want IMF to do everything for you. I've never seen an entitled people like Nigerians before. Everyone is supposed to queue at the opportunity to lick your ass when you keep defecating all over the place.
You have the BRICS and other nations in the G20 and OECD that used IMF to climb the ladder to stardom and in some cases ingenuously tip-toed around the IMF. Yet your ignorant self thinks it is about a we-versus-them game. US still trades heavily with China and Russia (practically sworn enemies). If we can't use the IMF to further our own agenda then yes we deserve wherever we are.
Tell your leaders to GTFO their ass, start working, stop stealing, and then taking the same proceeds to countries that call the shot in the IMF (the IMF would use our leaders stolen money as backing to give us loans in the end). Stop being the mindless simpletons the industrialized world sees us as.
It was Nigeria that ran to the IMF for loans. The IMF did not come to us.
-Lord Lord you put it in a better way than I even put it. Africans often blame IMF for its woes, whearas it is largely because of our unserious nature that makes the implementation fail. There is nothing wrong with IMF conditionalities, as these measures are in place to ensure that indeed the imf gets the loan back because without these conditions, some idiot African countries will just fritter it on subsidies and their corrupt public corporations, while lacking the ability to pay back once the money is gone. Africans and victim mentality eh *smh* |

The next thing you'll see is this report would scare potential investors and make matters worse for Nigeria. The only thing they always have for third world countries is bad news. You again? |

Daboomb: Thank you for this contribution.
Let us always ask ourselves,: IN WHOSE INTEREST DOES IMF ACT, IN 3RD WORLD COUNTRIES?
I wont go into long details but HISTORY has shown that every country (without exception) that has taken the IMF Pill (Loan) for th epurpose of development/restructuring, was worse-of, than from where it was before the loan.
I hope we all remember the IMF structural Adjustment programme under Ibrahim Babangida's regime? It was during that IMF Loan that the Naira "died", in terms of real value (not exchange rate!) and all our industries collapsed.
Why is it that once any 3rd world country is trying to make a headway and solve its problem, IMF will just wake-up and start predicting doom, urging it to devalue its currency, raise taxes on its people, allow free-for-all importation of `foreign goods (open border), remove import tariffs so the country can become a dumping ground for Western goods, e.t.c From Angola, to El Savador, to Chile, to Nigeria, to Argentina, ....IMF is an agent of imperialism and it is used to destroy the economy of emerging nations and ensure they are forever dependent on the West.
Nigeria should please, just ignore their rubbish predictions or advice. When the Naira was taking a hit, they did not make any comment bu tnow that the Niara is firming-up, they suddenly found their voice. Thunder fire any Oyinbo-man wey wan spoil our economy. ` All of you talking like this obviously don't know anything about IMF and their policies. Some are even calling IMF a western establishment to ruin African countries You people don't know. Do You know the components of SAP? Do yiu know why it failed in Nigeria? Anyways that is besides the topic. @Topic IMF has a point, but they have to understand now that Nigeria is a peculiar country right now, and certain policies like these that would have lifted other countries may cause untold hardship in Nigeria. Egypt has done the float, and their currency is doing ok, even with less reserves, but if Nigeria does that now, we will be done for because of the unbridled greed and wickedness of our unpatriotic elite (the bank top shots, politicians, hoarders, BDC people, etc) they will exploit this thing to the detriment of Nigeria So thanks for the advice @IMF but Nigeria is a special case. |
