Durchmann: Well, everyone to his own opinion O!
I won't try to sound rude but in my own opinion, people who think the China relations with Africa is cool only see the immediate picture. They don't see the broad picture. Also, some are also direct benefactors of China's moves in Africa. You would hardly see someone in Government in Africa talk against China. China is helping them fulfill election promises even though it may be at a grievous cost to posterity.
These are things Africans should be concerned about. I don't know why I even have this feeling that China must have been a huge backer of the African Free Trade Area thing sef. I love the policy but I'm wary of the backers. I believe China was a backer to that Free trade agreement |

ogbonti: I am not an Immigration Attorney and so I do not have the information you will need if you are in such a position. This practice off immediate deportation for FAILED INTERVIEWS did not start with Trump, It has been a long time practice. I worked at an Attorney's office way back in 1999, that was when I saw these things happen and it is still going on till today, because AMERICANS HATE TO BE LIED TO, ESPECIALLY TO THE AUTHORITIES - you see how Trumps's Layer Michael Cohen is serving jail time for lying. All I will advise you is DO THE RIGHT THING - do not plan to scam the system, and pray to God- never assume because you are doing the right thing, that you will be rewarded accordingly- it doesn't work that way - just like genuine visa applicants get denied visas also -- just like very talented and educated people fail job interviews
TO FAIL IS NOT A BAD THING, the difference here is that FAILURE COMES WITH DEPORTATION!!!!
JUST DO THE GENUINE THING - DO IT RIGHT - PRAY TO GOD, HOPE FOR THE BEST WHILE EXPECTING THE WORST! - be blessed! yea that's true |

Durchmann: If the African leaders do have the will power, they can force International corporations to do business in the continent by their Free Trade Area Policy. However, just as I said earlier, the systemic corruption and selfish attitude among Africans will kill the whole objective before it gains ground. From the field alone, custom officers can intentionally manipulate records in order to classify foreign imports (imports from outside Africa) as African imports. This is just a simple case as there are even deeper and more complicated situations that can play out.
Back to the area of Trump's effect on the globe, I've never really been a fan of the usual International diplomacy protocols when nations deal with each other. In fact, you find out that they are mostly flawed and in a lot of cases tilted to serve the major interests of one party leaving the other party disgruntled but in order to appease the Piper, smiling along.
Take the International Free Trade Agreement for example. In as much as the Chinese are hard workers and have been the world's one-stop shop for almost everything, other nations of the world (especially Africa) have been reeling in job losses due to competition shutting down. If it were just competition within China, I could tolerate that. However, when job losses occur in say , Chile, because a Chinese firm is producing at a much cheaper rate , even though in a lot of cases (especially to 3rd World Nations), products exported are of low quality, that is very unacceptable.
To even cap this up, China will still build relationships with those 3rd World Nations while giving them loans that may end up even slaving those nations indefinitely.
I don't know but I'm not fine with all these romance China has been having within Africa. I think there was a report some time ago of a nation in Asia or so that had to give up a seaport to China as they could not pay their debts. I'll find out though. I'm not certain what nation that is or resource that was given up.
Free Trade isn't Fair Trade, in my opinion. The actions of one nation and its people affects the ability of other nations somewhere else to serve their own people. That's subtle sabotage if you ask me.
In the end, just as I said earlier, it's our my opinion.
In my opinion, it's best everyone knows he or her grievances and agreements are formed based on those grievances and not through diplomatic sentiments. People can agree since they all know what ails them. Thank God! anothee person who is wary of the China -Africa relationship I was discussing with a Guinean the other day and ge was so happy about Chinese investment and loans being extended to his country bla bla bla I tried to explain to him But for where? his mind is already fixated many Africans don't reason properly and The foreign powers are here to exploit that for their benefits |

ogbonti: you are missing the point. no one is saying you paid anyone to marry - your marriage could be very genuine, BUT - i am saying, just like genuine travellers to USA get denied visa in Lagos, IF FOR ANY REASON, your application to adjust status get denied, you will not just go home and go try your luck again --- no no no- YOU WILL BE ARRESTED AND PLACED ON DEPORTATION PROCESS IMMEDIATELY - if you are very fortunate, they will give you 90 - 180 days to leave and your work permit will be revoked immediately.
many people who even have kids with their spouses get denied - IT IS NOT ABOUT THE MARRIAGE BEING GENUINE OR NOT, IT IS ABOUT WHAT THE IMMIGRATION OFFICER INTERVIEWING YOU THINKS ABOUT YOUR SITUATION - I use to work in a law office so I saw alot of people in tears and almost running mad ---- some will be talking to themselves, like -- wetin I do, God wetin I do this world, how can they say I am lying bla bla bla---- my guy, who no go no know!!!! oh really? that's unfortunate Trumps body odor at work I believe .But will it be the same if it was the spouse visa that person applied for? like get married in Nigeria The USC goes back and then file for the husband I believe that is better than adjusting status |

uuzba: This will continue happening until we create jobs for all. You can't just run a system of importing finished goods from other nations while all your local industries are closed down. All the graduate in this country never reach to dey fabricate iPhone? If you keep on importing this and other goods, what then do you think the graduates are doing?
They are just redundant. In front of my house, Agberos fill up the place daily, collecting money from tippers. I used to be upset before until I realised they just have nothing else to do.
Everybody will kukuma stand on the road and be collecting money. it's not about importation The biggest economies in the world are the biggest importers Switzerland alone imports more goods in value than the entire sub Saharan Africa put together The issue is that let us CREATE an atmosphere that gives the cast population the OPPORTUNITY to be PRODUCTIVE it does not matter the sector of the economy as long as its legal and adds value let us CREATE opportunities it's the lack of opportunities or will I say hoarding of the opportunities available (which are quite limited btw) for the elite class alone (nobody can deny this ) while leaving just a few opportunities for the dangerously growing population That has created this criminal and dangerous atmosphere of crime and violence |

Durchmann: My reasons may not really be popular opinion though.
For the first time, Africa has thought about building a Free Trade Area among themselves and not going cap in hand to beg.
For once, Iran has come out plainly and said they have been carrying out nuclear enrichment and in fact have decided to increase effort on their nuclear enrichment. Prior to now, even with all the fingers pointing at them from Israel, they denied this.
South Korea and Japan are having their own versions of trade war. Now, you may say that this is a strife that isn't welcome but the truth is nations have been playing deceptive international politics prior to Trump's coming.
So what point am I raising here?
The point is, nations have been bullied and even some stifled because they wanted to keep their fragile diplomatic relationships with certain nations or bloc of nations. Now, everyone is concerned about what the other party brings to the table. In the past, the scenario where one nation suffers at the expense of the other is being challenged.
In fact, no nation call the other a pariah state anymore because everyone has his interests at the forefront of negotiations all laid bare without any form of guile or deception.
As far as I'm concerned, it's a good time to be alive. If African nations are wise, this is the time to stand their ground against neo-colonialism and diplomatic oppression by forging better ties among themselves, thereby protecting their own interests. Well, they are learning. I only fear that systemic corruption may be our bane or Achilles heel in this case though.
These views are just my opinion and mine alone. I see interesting But don't you think that Trump recklessness would have a long term damage in future? There is a reason why diplomacy is king, and diplomacy keep the peace.. and as for African countries this free trade agreement is gonna screw us over big time (especially Nigeria) The structural problems in Africa has not been fixed yet, and you are melting the borders like putting the cart b4 horse And to think that most African countries have their biggest trading partners out of the continent That should tell you something But let me be optimistic sha |

franchasng: the only country coming close to America's greatness in terms of economy, military might and technology is China.
UK is nowhere near US. UK can only be compared to dying nations like Greece, Italy, Spain, etc not US.
The only benefit UK citizens benefit or can boast of is affordable healthcare and education, nothing else.
UK economy is clutching on straws as we speak, its dying a natural death.
In the next 50 years, UK will be worst then Italy and Greece so if u love your children's future please find ways to relocate them out of UK to more promising nations, don't say we didn't warn you.
Can you name or give reasons why UK should be on the list of great nations of the world of today
What rank do they occupy in military might
In economy strength
In employment rate
In housing fortune 500 firms
In number of billionaires
In entertainment
In Technology
Just name it!
You guys living in UK know what I am talking about; UK is living on past glory. The houses are getting aged, infrastructure is dying due to age, no more stolen money to rehabilitated or build new ones, confused government brexiting today, rebrexiting tomorrow and changing prime minister like diaper.
UK is just a useless country that terrorist ought to have leveled down long time ago.
They messed Nigeria and west Africa up by joining enemies together as one nation out of their stupid, wicked, selfish greed!! now you are beginning to sound sentimental The United Kingdom will always find its way and your hatred for the U.K. stems from the fact that you blame them for the amalgamation this is baseless because the founding fathers agreed to a unified Nigeria prior to independence in 1960 (1958) from 1958 onwards Britain was absolved of any blame due to amalgamation |

The only thing sustaining UK is sports, education (foreign students money), IELTs and stolen funds from African and Middle-East countries by stupid corrupt African leaders, if not, UK would have died a natural death or facing extreme recession like Greece by now.
Finding work in UK is difficult if you aren't a Nurse, Doctor, etc or be ready to do odd jobs.

Such jobs are done by Mexicans and illegals from South America and few Africans, but due to rising unemployment in UK, white British citizens also do odd jobs because their nation is dying natural death!! naa you are not 100 % correct on this one you are not there is more to the United Kingdom than what you typed up there |
