This is why Nigeria is a destroyed shithole country just look at the mentality of the animals I share a country with It is now public knowledge that she was raped, so what? why should a tape victim be even stigmatized in the first place? Anyone doing that is sick in the head most Nigerians are sick in the head so I am nit surprised Timi and his family will continue to live the quality of life MOST NIGERIANS who are "stigmatizing" and shaming them will only dream of, or watch on T.V. Regardless of what any one thinks, life continues Timi is a good man for standing and supporting his wife. las las you move to a civilised country and jettison this shithole if the stigma too much afterall your kids are USC |

Kkshanana90: Greece has always been in trouble since time immemorial. You can read more on the historical origin of Greece Sovereign Debt Crisis. Greece economy is even now relatively better!
Italy’s case is not the result of adopting the Euros. Italy’s demographic structure is getting worse. The country is experiencing aging population. This affects productivity. Yet it is the first point of arrival for refugees and asylum seekers in Europe. Refugees who remain in Italy mainly do illegal jobs yet they are being paid monthly stipends. They are therefore not being productive! In Germany, they are well utilized.
I can go on. Why didn’t you mention France, Austria, Belgium and the Netherlands? The problem is not the Euros, it is domestic policy failures! smh You are not getting my point those countries in trouble would have saved themselves if they have not lost their monetary sovereignty t to a central bank in Brussels If there central banks were still central banks, the countries would have saved themselves easily but becayse they had no control over their monetary issues, their situation for worse Okay imagine a Nigeria under Buhari in 2016 You really think the cbn would have practiced all manners of experiment if Nigeria were using this fvckin "ECO"? We would have been double fvcked not to think that these our neighbours are still tied to the apron strings of France by choice You really think France will not use back door to influence policy decisions (these countries are ever ready to please France) with that happening don't you know we are screwed ? The dynamics are not just right economic union is good promoting trade is good but evetinr should keep there currencies NAFTA volume of trade is massive but then the U.S. Canada and Mexico still kedps their currencies the NAFTA model will suit ECOWAS better than this experiment |

Kkshanana90: It will only be a bad move if the macroeconomic conditionalities are not met by the respective countries.
More so, we need to encourage more trade amongst the member states.
Adopting a single currency within an economic block always has its disadvantages. But on this, the merits will outweigh the demerits in the long-run.
When the Euro was introduced, most Germans considered it a bad move. What do we have today? Today’s reality shows otherwise. in 2019 the euro is stil a bad move Greece got into trouble Italy got into hot water Portugal in a big mess Spain on life support They are called the "PIGS" for a reason They are just managing the situation because the northern States are still solvent bailing them out You think Nigeria can bail anyone out? |

rentAcock: Another misguided quitter. During the 1700s, Americans were under colonial rule by Great Britain. The British Royal Navy had conquered 3/4th of the world's land and were the greatest military ever formed on this planet ( yes even greater than the Roman empire and ottoman empire). Fighting against the Royal Navy with untrained and poorly funded funded troops was almost suicidal, but in 1775 Americans waged war for their independence. They would rather sacrifice thousands of life at the chance of freedom than remain colonised forever.
In 1917, America joined World War I even though this was mostly Europe's war, America realized that staying neutral only meant that the Germans may have unchecked power and dominance and sooner or later they might threaten the north American continent.
In 1941, America joined the 2nd World War after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor in Hawai. This was by far America's bloodiest war. Teens as young as 17 were drafted against their will to fight because they realized, if the Germans, Japanese or Italians succeed in defeating Alied forces, nobody will be free. The Axis forces would've occupied America and who really knows what atrocities would've been metted on them.
This is only a brief synopsis of America's history of dying for their country in hopes of making it great. There are no guarantees for victory, but without these sacrifices, America might have remained colonised until the 1960s, afterwhich they could've been just another 3rd world country. But today, it is the greatest country on the face of the planet.
So you are very foolish and short sighted to give up on your home country. You are also very foolish to think you or your children cannot make it in Nigeria. I truly feel bad for your extreme pessimism and I hope you don't pass it on to your offspring. my parents run thriving businesses in Nigeria so I'm not talking because I'm from a "poor" home by Nigerian standards, they made it. I never said I can't maje it in Nigeria but what is the use of "making it" in Nigeria when so many around you are poor, miserable, destitute and are looking for the slightest chance to get at you for making it, My parents can't even travel to the other side of Nigeria where we come from because of the fear of herdsmen and kidnappers Making it is not the issue irs what you face after making it that will stress you tens of thousands of Nigerians doing express entry are NOT Stupid. They made it in Nigeria because if you did not, you won't have $20k to see the process through from.start to finish There are certain things you are not seeing that we have all seen |

Princedapace: U are right, it is a typical Nigerian thing, we love to enjoy those who worked hard to fix their countries but we dont have the zeal to fix ours. I love what Trump is doing, I wish he can do more. he should make moving to usa more difficult. Nigerians must come and fix the country.
Funny enough how we run to their countries and still insult whites..
see yeye us wey no fit fix country. There is nothing we can build from scratch. Seems God did not give us brain to fix anything from scratch. All we know how to do is enjoy already fixed issues. Lol when you have the majority of the citizens in Africa, especially Nigeria as destructive, barbaric, illiterate, holding on to repugnant cultural mentality and practices and hateful /short sighted You really think the small pool of us who are in the upper and lower middle class, who have been exposed and all that can fix Nigeria? It's unfixable in such circumstances so they have to go to where sensible people reside and dominate Let me educate you there are three classes of people in Nigeria 1) The political elite and the captains of industries and their cronies etc these people profit massively from the state of Nigeria via crony capitalism, rent seeking, outright stealing and corruptions (the political class) etc hence they will rather be based on NiggerArea because there is nowhere in the west crony capitalism or rent seeking they benefit from at that magnitude is practiced Value addition for wealth is the way in the west. unfortunately, most of them are not capable of that. they are content with the status quo, and given their kids dual citizenship and put them in positions to replace them 2) The small pool of upper middle class folks like us, who have gotten an education, skills, exposure and all, who want to change the country because it's painful to see the level of foolishness going on in Nigeria in comparison to where we have visited or schooled we have enough for ourselves and we also have surplus for some travles and other luxuries tho not too much this is the group of Nigerians who are in the position to change Nigeria, and really want to change Nigeria, but they really can't because of the third group below 3)The vast majority of poor, wretched, uneducated, barbaric, religious zealots, etc this group of people are at the bottom, forms the majority of Nigeria, are indeed terrible people in their mentality and how they do things, they lack innovation, highly uneducated, ignorance and superstition runs rife in this level, and short sightedness (present gain for future damage) is the order of the day They form majority of the voters who will vote wrong candidates in exchange for a pittance, burst pipelines, be thugs to politicians, and the list is endless And this this the worst part, everytunw group 2 tries to make positive change, group one manipulated group three to sabotage the efforts of group 2 (this is especially so in the North) And the group 3, being willing tools for their own self destruction are ever ready for that, in exchange for a pittance, or even as simple as being manipulated by religion or tribalism That is why Nigeria is currently doomed group 1 will make sure group 3 scuttle every attempt of group 2 (some peoole ib group 1 are sympathetic to the cause of group 2 tho) That is why group 2 are flocking to Canada That is why they are having their kids in the U.S. That is why they are opening shell accounts in Europe Europe hustling to buy properties and green cards where they can... Because when NiggerArea finally implodes group 1 will fly out the non deluded group 2 will also fly out while group 3 destroy and kill each other (see foolishness) @AngelicBeing @Justwise @Pocohontas @AntiBrutus @MizWisdom @ifyalways @Hadampson |

Your child must wait until the age of 21 to apply for citizenship and only if he or she has lived and schooled in the U.S for a combination of 18yrs without any criminal infractions. Our politicians, celebrities and regular Nigerians have exploited this loophole for far too long yet they are first to criticize America and support Russia. I refuse to join the band wagon, I had the and opportunity to give birth to my kids in the U.S but gladly refused; they are Nigerians by birth and they will make this country great. That decision you took to have your kids in Nigeria WHEN you COULD have them abroad is a foolish decision you will regret eventually Why don't you give them the citizenship and let your kids repudiate it later in life 20 years from Now, your kids may read this and swear for you There is NO BASIS for your empty pride You are from a third world failed $hithole country led by a cattle rearer, and because you have some change in your pocket does not change that just look at what this man has done to his kids *smh* |

Some are saying "failure is the not the end" bla bla bla. Nigerians have accepted the situation of things in their country. OP if you are this capable academically why did you attend a polytechnic?
This is what you should do: Register for the next JAMB exam. Pick a first generation federal university and study like no tomorrow.
Get the admission and start afresh. You are still young so age should not be a problem.
In four years you'd be out with a good grade. Potentially a first class. Forget the m0rons on this thread telling you "school na scam" The vast majority of them cannot even write proper sentences.
