Soul47: Made my first million at 19 from MMM.
Quite funny. It didn't feel like a million at all, maybe cause it was 2016 where inflation made money loose it's value or cause it was without sweat.
2017 made 5m but lost additional 4.3m when the system crashed that same year. I was in a private University then, didn't know much to do with money so I just bought lands.
Now I have graduated it ain't funny. Invested large portion of the money in long term assets, failed to build a steady source of income and currently serving my country and being paid #19,800. Seems like I grew up fast or got exposed early.
Well... Working on a massive Bitcoin rig, hoping it works out fine.
Happy New Month Everyone. very nice |

lifedynamics: Sorry to burst your bubble but if the "best of the best" were encouraged and employed in Nigeria and not punished for choosing education over music or sports, then no one would migrate. The developed countries take the best in for their own development and the best get employed in these developed counties... It's a win win for everyone
Why would a capable person waste his talents in Nigeria, when he can go to the US or Europe and become an employed hard worker? good question |

Exciton: Why the fvck are Nigerians always fixated on migration?!! Always taking the easy way out. I always see Naija Twitter "intellectuals" advice youths to leave while they can. Foreigners see this too, and no one is ever going to respect you if you think mass migration is a solution.
Why not focus on a lasting solution: saving the soul of your country by calling for constitutional changes, building strong institutions etc?
I don't get how people can feel comfortable developing another country at the expense of yours. Sub Saharan Africans just don't get global politics. The leaders in Western countries know exactly what they're doing: selectively taking in the above average and positive outliers --- those with usefull skills, the smartest or the socioeconomically advantaged and their looted wealth --- for their own development. This is harmful to smaller nations since they are left with a bit more shitty people and less wealth on average. Also, the numbers are well controlled because they understand the effect of culture on institutions. There're many reasons why sh!tholes are what they are, but culture is a big part of it!
It's okay to study and live outside Africa, but at least consider making positive contributions to your country for the sake of your future generations and the dignity of your people. does Nigeria look like a country that wants development? |

Dpharisee: Part time stripper is equivalent of male sex worker, so these are the role models that Nigerian kids should look up to. It's like this episode will have so much sex acts as a selling point. Parents beware of channels to block on DSTV Nigerians are jokers and hypocrites it's a show for ADULTS and as parents, you have the responsibility to KEEP your kids from watching these programs.... parentak controls are on DSTV, and if young child /early teen has unobstructed access to the internet, without supervision, then you are already failing as a parent. if a parent is watching BBN with her kids, that parent has also failed and is a useless parent. Parents should do their God given responsibility to giuide and protect their kids from adult content... worse shows air in the west, but they don't do promise on the censorship and parental guidance when people fail in their role as parent, they look for who to blame The program is not compulsory to watch those who like it should watch, those who don't like it should boycott it it's that simple |

Go there!! Succeed there!!!
He who holds another man down, will have to stay down.
———————— I see a lot of people asking me how they forced terrible leaders on us??
My brother, my sister look at the foreign sponsored coups and counter coup that plagued Nigeria and most African countries. Especially that of babangida whose regime became a negative turning point for Nigeria.
Look at how they distabilized Libya and the weapons from Libya war empowered various terrorist cells all over Africa.
Look at how they forced Charles Taylor on Liberians. He “escaped” from American jail to become a president.
I can keep going on and on and on but I’ll stop here. Africans are largely to blame for thus as well.... many are agents for their own self destruction |

They have no bargaining power. The values of the currency are being determined by the West. Go back in history. The Whites believe they are better than other races and act as such politically and economically. That's why your government officials run to Chattam House to give report to the masters in times of serious political upheaval. Independence is only a word.
Can anyone explain what caused naira to dive from N190 to N360 per dollar? Forget textbook explanations. / African countries are not as productive as it should be That us why the currency is weak nothing more |
Business › Re: ECOWAS Adopts ECO As Name Of Single Currency by Ugosample(m): 1:36am On Jul 01, 2019 |
Yyeske: That Ghana redenominated her currency doesn't make it more valuable, it is the productivity of the economy and what back the currency that matters. Years back, over 9,000 cedis gets a US dollar before 4 zeroes were removed and it became 90 pesewas to a dollar but has depreciated to about 6 cedis to a dollar today. If it wasn't for that move years back, a dollar would've been over 60,000 cedis today.
If Nigeria decides to remove 3 zeroes from the naira today, it means 36 kobo to a dollar compared to your 6 cedis (600 pesewas). Which of the two is more valuable going by your assertion. The South Korean Won is over 1,000 won to a dollar, Japanese yen, over a hundred to a dollar, can you please explain if the Ghanaian economy is stronger than theirs, Kuwaiti dinar is about 1 to about 3-4 dollars, does it make the Kuwaiti economy stronger than that of the US?
Nigeria shouldn't just join in this trashy union because we will end up subsidising those weak countries true sha |

That is why it is valuable than the naira a currency that depreciated 500 % plus in 10 years cannot be better than the NGN in real terms from about 1 cedi to 1 usd in 2008/9 to almost.5.5 today in 2019 and you guys still have mouth to talk |

Litmus: When will Nigeria learn? Nothing good for Nigeria comes out of ECOWAS and Nigeria will never fulfill her potential if she abandons a Nigerian focussed development plan in favour of regional union/intergration with other West Africa or greater Africa states. The tiny hope ordinary Nigerians have left that tomorrow may bring better days will be subsumed by a future in which Nigerians will be sharing resources and space with bums from Ghana, Niger and Togo. What's more, Europe will once again become masters of Nigeria through their influence over the willing and slavish nations like Benin republic, Ghana, Gambia, Togo etc.
Jesus, Nigerians were even knocking heads together at the summit, trying to establish a West African fighting force in preparation to battle the Islamic terrorism creeping down from Mali and vast swards of the Sahel. Why can't we just let those other nations defend themselves ? Let them stew in Terrorism wahala for a couple of years and let us see if they will have mouth to be talking about Nigerians are kidnappers and thieves.
