rebekah2011: Anything is possible on the NSE. Maybe or maybe not. If you are interested in the stock. You will need to look at it viz a viz other better stocks. It is even remarked as being Below Listing Standard because of the issue of free float. Please explain more on the bolded....it got me worried when i wanted to buy it...... Thanks |

rebekah2011: As fundamentally sound stocks becomes cheaper. Please plan to acquire more of them, avoid averaging down on struggling entities. Is Guinness, Nigerian Breweries, UACN, Flour Mills okay to buy now? Or should one just target getting more of Zenith UBA Gtbank etc. For me UBA and ZB is good for now....but ZB may get to km18....uba km5 ....have free "cutlass" for caverton....hoping it will get lower.... |

rebekah2011: People think that the impact of the election will reflect in the books of caverton. I laugh in swahili. Caverton just did promo for APC. The free-float of Caverton is not that much. It is still below the approved limit for listed entities. It has good contracts with Shell, but it is not the only company that operates in the Oil and Gas space. This company is a family business that is just opening up for new people to come in and the Makanjuolas owns about 84% of this entity. Please do not place all your hopes in this company ooooo. Family business....this is still the reason am skeptical about this company.... .......i may be wrong......many folo folo investors and newbies may have their fingers burnt. |

awesomeJ: I mean as investors, I expect that there'd be certain amounts we've set as target to be added to our investment portfolios this year.
So, since we're almost through with the first quarter, I'm thinking we should have achieved 25%.
someone who set 1m should have made 250k, while for someone targeting 100m, he should have made 25m.
I'm currently at 10-13%. But I expect earnings in the coming quarters to improve significantly, so I won't review downwards just yet.
I hope my English is better now sir. Thank you Sir... |

awesomeJ: I think enough has been said about I-Invest.
Walcom, Barrytone feels uncomfortable with how he was treated in his last dealing with them, he has the exclusive right to his appraisal of any service he receives. There's no point telling him whom to blame and whom not to.
Barrytone, Walcom thinks you shouldn't place a bad label on I-Invest as some folks like himself still enjoy their service. So please agree that he can choose to take pleasure in being served by any firm he chooses.
So, bottom line is there's enough info now on the forum about what's obtainable from banks and what's obtainable from Apps like I-Invest.

Meanwhile Q2 is coming in just a few days.
How many of us have reached 25% of our investment target for the his year?
By month end, I'll be at about 10%. If I go with the second target it'll be about 13%. Please i do not understand this your statement:Meanwhile Q2 is coming in just a few days. Bezzle: Please house kindly advise me on what to do I have 2 stockbroking accounts; I use 1 of the accounts to buy my Zenith Bank shares and did an e-dividend mandate on that account but I recently used the 2nd one without a mandate to buy new shares of Zenith because the customer services rep said since I already have an existing mandate I would still get my dividends. She said Veritas already have my name in their register but now I am yet to receive my dividends Do I need a mandate for the 2nd account with the other broker or is there a way to merge 2 accounts? Ask the registrar to confirm the total units of shares you have with them....if it tallies with what you have(in both 2 accounts).....then u don't need to mandate the second account.... |
