2n2k: Flour Mills of Nigeria declared N1 dividend per share but I noticed I was credited with gross amount this morning without deducting withholding tax. Was there an amendment of the dividend rate at the AGM on August 30th? Anybody? As a tradition, every year, FMN plc pays the witholding tax for all the shareholders and credit the actual amoung per share the shareholder has to his or her account....hence no need for deducting the witholding tax from shareholders........this is unlike most companies in nse |

THIS WAS GIVEN AS A PRE-CONDITION TO HEARING GTB'S MOTION FOR STAY.. ONLY WHEN THE SUPREME COURT RULES IN FAVOUR OF INNOSON CAN THE MONEY BE TRULY PAID TO HIM...ITS NOT YET UHURU. The final judgement may not be in favour of GTB for Supreme court to give this kind of condition...Patience as we await the final judgement.... |

Spuggie: Very funny, your write-up clearly shows you are either ignorant of happenings or you are just mischievous. Either way, that's not good enough. Firstly, there are no doctors, in pharmacy dept let alone heading that department. There is no such thing as Radiography department. What we have is a radiology dept which is rightly headed by a radiologist. To minimise your ignorance, there is no country in the world where a radiology dept is headed by a radiographer when there is a Radiologist around. There is a reason for that, radiographers are more like technologist, the operate the machines while the radiologist carry out interventional procedures and also report images while also supervising the radiographer.
You mentioned Nigeria as a lawless country and I agree with you. That's probably why JOHESU will have the nerve to demand for pay parity with doctors as confirmed by the Ministry of Health and the audacity to hope they can arm twist the government to submit to their phoney demands.
The problem here is inferiority complex on JOHESU's part and hopefully, the No work No Pay policy will format their brains. Thank you for educating him and the public......how a person will just become mischevious and wants to mislead the public....not knowing that nairaland has best brains in all human endeavours.... .....i wanted him to tell me which hospitals that his quotes are happening.....lets hear from him... Thank you once again.... |

@bukalisman.... An experienced (with many years of experience) pharmacist, Radiography and medical lab scientist will be answerable to a mere house officer of less than a year experience just because he is a medical doctor. Mind you, some of these other health professionals lectured and trained these doctors during their University days, and therefore are head and shoulders more competent than them in their respective fields
......please which hospitals are these quotes of yours happening.......Am very interesting to know...Thank you |

onegentleguy: Gbam !! ...Its even a good strategic move to retain cash. From what I've seen so far looking at their results, this would help put them in slightly better stead going forward. Fidelity is still grossly undervalued. Going by this YE 2017, and Q1 2018 results, my spread analysis booklet shows that the coy still screams of a BUY. However, and as has often been the case, Mr Market might react negatively to the drop in dividend pay out. ...but I think that would be very short lived.
My Fair Price loading... Oga...my fair price is N5.0.......FIDELITY is the BEST Tier 2 banks in the results so far released |

aremso: At least with my over 10yrs of investing in on NSE, I have witnessed the bad, the urgly and also the best. Presently, by God grace I don't incures losses again. I gained in capital appreciation and in dividend. At present, some investors are sleeping when they ought to have sold their holdings after price appreciation and dividend. There will never be a major price gains again with the general elections in view what will be happening is short gains and looses so my advice is sell your holdings, invest in may be TB for like six months then come back again when prices would have gone down cos some foreign investors would dump shares to keep their capital ahead of general elections and this will affect the prices to depreciate enmass. So investors be wise! I bought ucap 240k units @2.80 got a dividend of 0.35kobo per unit and sold for 3.76 now the price is dancing between 3.29 and 3.40, if I want to buy back @3.29 with the same fund, would get additional 30k units so that is the way to go investing on NSE. Am putting my money in tb and this will give me about 600k wen go back to stock, with all the money at lower prices, then will mop more shares giving me more money. My fellow that the way to go My oga....you may not predict NSE ......bull will surely come like a thief in the night...i hope to remember to quote this when it comes. NTB rates are falling ....look at the 365days rate now.... |

pluto09: I actually think he has influence on zenith performance. Na my own conspiratory theory o
Zenith seems to be the most consistent of all the banks in growing profit in the past two years.
In June 2016 gtb eps stood at N2.54 as against zenith of N1.13 which means gtb eps doubled that of zenith. Fast forward to 2018 ,the eps is almost the same .
Na only them waka come Gov.Godwin Emefiele MAY not have influence in ZB good financial report. When you have a good discipline GTB you started with during the IPO of #10.00 doing well....ZB has no other choice than to buckle up..... I think ZB maintains a good financial discipline like GTB..that is the difference I still prefer ZB to GTB for dividend payout..... NB....i have no GTB shares.....am fully loaded in ZB more than a decade now. ....i may be biased..... |

By the way, when is emefiele term going to end I think next year March....appointed 6/3/2014 Does he has influence in ZB good performance......any manipulation ? I think ZB will trade #38.00 by Q2 if the maintain the good drive |
