Mrs Chima is a crackhead-weed smoking woman. After smoking she comes online to say all sort of non-sense about Nigerian Men.Banning her will be better for NL. |
AFTER preliminary investigation into the bombing of the United Nations (UN) House in Abuja, the search for al-Qaeda bases has started in Chad and some key states in the North. Some of the states are Borno, Bauchi, Yobe, Katsina and Kano. It was also learnt that the search has the backing of the international community, especially the UN, which said last night that security would be tightened at its stations worldwide. The Federal Government is yet to release the bodies of the victims of last Friday’s suicide bombing because FBI, CIA and other experts are probing the nature of the bombs used. Many countries, including the United States (US) and Britain are collaborating with the Federal Government to rid Nigeria of terrorism, The Nation learnt yesterday. Besides a close monitoring of the Boko Haram sect, the hunt for al-Qaeda agents will be extended to many parts of the North. A top security source, who spoke in confidence, said: “It has been established that some religious extremists who have a strong link with al-Qaeda have established bases in the North under the guise of propagation. “Security agencies are focusing on the North, but with particular emphasis on Borno, Bauchi, Yobe, Katsina and Kano states. The confessional statements of the three suspects arrested have given sufficient clues that these bases exist. “But there is a suspicion that the al-Qaeda bases in the North may be feeder types with big bunkers in Chad and Mali. “We are really mopping up and combing some Northern states where these bomb suspects have been operating from. “The fact that the North shares borders with a few war-ravaged countries, like Chad, fuels the suspicion of infiltration of Nigeria by al-Qaeda members.” There was an indication last night that the delay in releasing the bodies was at the instance of FBI, UN and foreign security experts probing the incident. A source, who is part of the ongoing forensic examination, added: “These foreign investigators have sought to examine the lethal impact on the victims to determine the nature of the bombs used. “They have established that the bombs used are not the types that Boko Haram members could handle, in view of the fact that most members of the sect are not highly-educated or sophisticated. “They are actually working on a theory that some elite might also be behind the spate of bombings in the country. “They seem to believe that the affected elite have been acquiring these lethal bombs and using agents to perpetrate the violence.” A major shake-up in the nation’s security network is on the way, The Nation has learnt. The looming changes, our correspondents gathered, may not be unconnected with the worsening security challenges facing the country. A Presidency source said yesterday that the changes, which may sweep off some top security chiefs in the various agencies, may be announced by President Jonathan immediately after the Eid-el-Fitri holidays. The source said that President Jonathan might have been convinced to make the changes aimed at injecting fresh blood and new ideas into the security network. The source maintained that Friday’s bomb attack may have left President Jonathan with no other option than to overhaul the system. Though the source tried to downplay the impending changes “as mere change of batons with nothing special about it”, it was gathered that they will be far-reaching. Likening the attack on the UN building by Boko Haram to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack on the World Trade Centre twin towers in New York, the source recalled that after the September 11 attacks, measures were taken to overhaul the security network. The coming measures, according to the source, may also be a way to reassure apprehensive Nigerians and the international community that the Federal Government is on top of the security situation. |
We don't need prayers to deal with terrorist,we need to kill them before they bomb us while praying.Enough of this carrot and stick approach on terrorist!! |
Am very sure when the FBI,CIA and other international intelligence agencies gives a detailed report on the Membership and Sponsors of Boko Haram in Nigeria the Northern Elite will cry foul and term it "politics" and would like to blame others not on the list. |
Northerners + Boko Haram + Al-Qaeda = Boko Haram Republic (terrorist zombie's) |
Do U mean Boko Haram Republic on twitter? Pls don't follow a terrorist, bomb everywhere around him even on the internet.Play safe!! |
Jonathan Orders Release Of Uwazuruike, Massob Members From Detention Following President Goodluck Jonathan’s order that all members of the Movement for the Actualisation of a Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) held across the country, particularly in the various prisons and police stations in the South-east be released, those held in Anambra State have regained their freedom. Over 1,000 MASSOB members were previously held in detention across the country, a number that increased last Wednesday when over 600 of them were arrested as they made their way to the Presidential Hotel, Enugu venue where Igbo youths had gathered to honour Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu; MASSOB leader, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike and other Igbo leaders. Daily Sun gathered that with the presidential directive taking effect, the MASSOB leader, Chief Uwazuruike and the other 280 members arrested in Enugu last Wednesday would leave the Enugu Prisons where they were detained on Thursday. Sources at the Enugu Prison told Daily Sun that the directives to release Uwazuruike and his members without further delay had been received but they had to wait till Thursday because of the public holidays tomorrow and Wednesday. The presidential order came on the heels of condemnations across Igboland over the incarceration of Uwazuruike and other MASSOB members who had a peaceful gathering to honour their leaders. Fielding questions from newsmen in Enugu yesterday over the development, former chief judge and past president general of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Justice Eze Ozobu, disclosed that the presidential order was sequel to the intervention of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Chief Anyim Pius Anyim; Ohanaeze President General, Ralph Uwechue; and Chairman, South-east Traditional Rulers Council, Eze Ilomuanya. His words: “The first person I got was Anyim. I told him to go and tell your president that he must tell us what we have done wrong to him; that we did no wrong and we understand government is trying to have a meeting with Boko Haram; that if they ignore the South-east, I do not know what the youths would do. “That I am sure there is going to be fire. He said I should play it down that I should do all I can to see they do not cause any harm. I told him I would want to know what the Igbo’s have done wrong that as a lawyer I was there and I couldn’t pin down anything that is criminal or against the law; that I want to know where we went wrong. He promised to do something. “I later got to know that Ilomuanya met with Uwechue in Abuja; that Senator Uche Chukwumerije met with the inspector-general of police who contacted the president and he ordered that they must be all released by Monday (yesterday). “I am of the opinion that we take very strong notable Igbos to go ask that man that he must care for us; we’ve given him what others never gave to him during the election; he said this government is Igbo government. I was one of the seven people he called. If you say that Igbos have helped you, you must show that by reciprocating that gesture. “He told us that this is government of Igbos, which they did so much, which is true, but he must tell us what we have done wrong in Nigeria. The leader of the OPC in the West moves around on convoy, the Hausas do things with impunity; you can never fault an Igbo man. “I was told to get in touch with the police commissioner in Enugu and his reaction shows that he has received directives that a judge should release them. We are grateful for that, we thank him but he must get us to know what we should do to ward off the discrimination they paint us with.” Early in the morning yesterday also, a Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Ben Ogu of the St. Paul Catholic Church, Egbelu-Umuhu, Enyiogugu, Mbaise in Imo State had stormed the Enugu Prisons where he berated leaders of the South-east geopolitical zone for their inability to condemn the ongoing humiliation and marginalisation of the Igbo in the country. Rev. Ogu, who spoke to newsmen after discussing with the detained MASSOB leader in the Enugu Prisons, urged prominent Igbo men, especially those in government, to speak out against the perceived gross injustice meted out to the people of the South-east. Fr. Ogu condemned the ill-treatment meted out to the Igbo since the Nigerian civil war ended, pointing out that Nigeria fought against apartheid in South Africa whereas back home it was yet to end apartheid against the Igbo. “I might go mental if I don’t speak up over the humiliation of the Igbo in Nigeria. That is why I am here (Enugu Prisons) that Igbo people should be released from detention. I don’t want to be a slave where I should be free; that is why I am here,” he said. http://www.sunnewsonline.com/webpages/news/national/2011/aug/30/national-30-08-2011-007.html |

abouzaid:You are a hyporite, after killing non-Muslims in the North for over 50 years and claim to be average peace loving speaks volume of how dangerous northerners can be.Why are northerners now afraid the west is coming to Nigeria for good.It is the turn of Northerners to start feel the heat the way Iraqi,Pakistan and Afghanistan. You can use this link to update you knowledge on how peaceful the north has in the past 50 years. http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/war/nigeria-1.htm |
You must be on weeds or somewhere in a terrorist training camp in Yemen.Did the American's ask northerners to kill Igbo people in 1966 which eventually lead to the civil war and other religious killing that was targeted at the igbo's in Kano and Kaduna State in the 80s and 90s.Your statement clearly show you lack the history religious killing by northerners which started in 1945. Here is a link to help you update yourself when you come out from your training camp http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/war/nigeria-1.htm |
New and more recruits for Boko Haram!! |
'419 ' is a section in Nigeria criminal code that addresses the penalty for ''Advance fee fraud'' cases in Nigeria or simply section 419 of Nigerian criminal code. And for Ghana-must-Go:During the 70s Nigeria's economy was booming due to raise in Oil price and most West African citizens were coming to Nigeria to work but in the early 80s Nigeria started experiencing bad economy due low price of Oil and their was no more jobs for most West African citizens who where working In Nigeria including Ghanaian's and the Federal Govt decide to deport all foreign nationals back to their countries.During the mass movement of Ghanaian's back to their country THEY USED BIG SACK BAGS TO PACK THEIR BELONGS as against normal travel bags. From there Nigerians coined the word Ghana-most-go bags (Big Sack Bags) |
The FBI should come to Nigeria and set up their phone hacking device and track all calls made by Northerner who are members and sponsors of Boko Haram and within one month most of them will be arrested. Most Northerners behave like cows |
70% of Northern states can't sustain their self without federal govt fund,90% of their people are illiterates( can't read or write) or speak simple English and only behave like cows |

It is time Nigeria hire Jack Bauer as the National Intelligence Adviser to the President because with Northerners as intelligence officers they will always protect Boko Haram members and terrorism will contine in Nigeria for a long time to come. Enough is enough!! |
It is high time the federal govt start arresting the Northern elite who are members and sponsors of Boko Haram or are they waiting when they bomb US and UK embassies because from their statement that maybe the next target. Enough of this kid gloves on Northern elites!! |
may30:You must dumb and silly for insinuating that the west is behind Boko Haram( the first religious killings started in the North in 1945 when Nigeria had no Oil) so Oil or no Oil the North will always kill non-moslems to continue Usman dan Fodio' Jihad of 1804. And for your information,Southern Nigeria will always embrace the west in years to come because we want development, peace and prosperity and if the Northern don't like it they should relocate to Saudi Arabia,Iraqi or Iran. Enough of this non-sense from Boko Haram members on NL!! |
OVER alleged complicity in the escape of two detainees suspected to be members of the dreaded Boko Haram sect, Brig-Gen Muraina Raji has been arraigned before a Special Court Martial. The two detainees escaped from the detention at the 33 Artillery Brigade, Bauchi, where the embattled General served as Commander. The detainees, who escaped from Bauchi, were arrested over an onslaught on Bauchi last year. Inaugurating the six-member panel in Jos, the Plateau State capital, the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 3 Armoured Division, Maj.-Gen Sunday Idoko, said that Raji was indicted for complicity by a military investigation report. His words: It is the duty of superiors to observe, correct and instantly deal with negligence or any misconduct on the part of subordinates. “When there is any breach, it is expected that appropriate disciplinary measures are taken by commanders to forestall future occurrence.” The GOC said that the constitutional role of the military required the highest standard of discipline and professionalism, stressing that discipline and loyalty were essential requirements to success in professional soldiering. Idoko explained that appropriate disciplinary action was necessary in the military so that itinstitution would continue to play its constitutional role and sustain its place as the pride of the nation. He expressed regrets that he was convening the third court within a year of his assumption of duty as the GOC of the Division. “However, if this Division has been witnessing one Court Martial after the other, it is because I want to sustain high level of professionalism required to confront the mounting security challenges in our areas of operation,” he said. The GOC noted that the existing court in the Division’s Headquarters lacked jurisdiction to try Raji by virtue of his rank, necessitating the inauguration of another court. Idoko implored the court to ensure that no effort was spared to achieve justice for the accused, the Nigerian Army and the country, adding that fairness and impartiality should be upheld in the proceedings and the dispensation of justice. When Raji was arraigned before the court, he objected to the membership of the “Waiting Member”, Brig.-Gen Agbo Robinson, who took over from him as the Commander of the Brigade. “He took over the Brigade after me and in the circumstances of the case, it will be prejudicial for him to be on the panel. Besides, all those appointed to testify against me are from his Command,” the General said. Raji also objected to the membership of the Judge Advocate, Lt. Col Bernard Okorie, whom he said, participated in filing the case against him. “His position will make it difficult for him to do his job as freely as he should,” he said. http://www.thenationonlineng.net/2011/index.php/news/16202-army-arraigns-general-over-boko-haram-suspects%E2%80%99-escape.html |
