so i saw this man selling this thing to people beside union bank, opp. Amawusa in Owerri. It is an antenna that receives foreign channels without subscription. my observation 1. He hung the antenna on about 5ft pole. 2. the display on the tv was very clear (my iphone 3 could not capture it under the hot sun though) 3. It is locally made 4. each of them sales for N500 without the cable What he told me I engaged him in brief conversation where i asked him some questions. he told me that he has required licenses to operate so he is not afraid of the police. he used to pay for some services but now he doesn't pay again. He doesn't have permanent office because he takes them to different places even though he operates from Aba. His phone number is written in each of the antenna (I have it too). As i was having the brief chart with him a guy cut in and asked him whether it will work in remote village (the guy said he bought it the previous day and the performance was good so wants to buy another one for their house in the vila), the man told him to mount the antenna on a very high pole.

I've had such issue several times and all of them were settled with ease. (i use eco bank). Firstly you are requested to complain if your account is not credited after 24 hours. You may not get any alert of the reversal, so the only way to be sure is to check your account regularly. In my case all the errors were corrected within the 24 hours period so don't panic. |
I used to think that Rochas is second to T.A. Orji until recently, the reverse is actually the case. T.A. built nothing but he damaged nothing. let us take a brief review of Rochas' 5years reign. -he demolished state library just to build a chapel. -he uprooted all the green vegetations planted by Ohakim to build gutter covers which he is also removing again. -he removed strongly built road demarcations that were used for road dualization only to replace them with poorly constructed cement casting. -he damaged better built drainage system at both MCC road and rapour road only to build inferior and yet uncompleted ones. -in the midst of acute hunger, he is tearing people's houses down in the name of road expansion. show me any road he built that lasted for 4months. In conclusion, he has destroyed destroyed all that he inherited in addition to the ones he built. most of the govt properties he is demolishing now he built them few years ago, including ones that have not even been commissioned. his only legacy would be the schools he rebuilt |
Lombrozo:i hope you won't come back to lament that you don't know when you subscribed to those services that cut your credit |

Cn it go fr 30k? |
Pressure from oil marketters will push the dollar price up to N500. This will further push up fuel price and general inflation. I don't think deregulation will yield any advantage even in a year time |
Ok |
Hmmm! One woman is already a big task; how much more six. I'm still wondering how solomon managed 1000 women. |
Our politicians steal billions of naira while theirs steal bilions of $. Money must be made. #dasukiisaLearner |

Now mtn is using option 2 (business politics). It is delay tactics |
This a joke. His Arochukwu mansion has five duplexies well arranged and stretches down to a river. It's a beauty to behold |
No matter how we see it, it's a true assertion. Even schools with low tuition have other means of recouping their money. But my problem is that we are short changed because we are not given the true value for the money we spend. Sub standard and half-baked graduates are produced by our sub standard money hungry lecturers |
I bought fuel N130/L yesterday which is N5 less than the normal price. I was happy but i never knew i will buy N350/L this morning. Is it the same in your area? |
Dammytrager:that is true. But you must have savings before you can do that. When problems makes savings impossible then... |
TheBatman:Wasn't easy though, but I have learnt over time that the best way to manage circumstances around you is, first of all, manage your disposition. If your mind and spirit is always calm; then happiness will always locate you and you will hardly give up. |
I hardly allow circumstances beyond my control to weigh me down; but this time around I seemed hopeless and my spirit was shattered. Few months ago when I was doing my project research I discovered that History has been completely removed from secondary school curriculum, so what are my career chances as a historian and educationist? Did I tell you I did NCE in Economics/Political Science? (I was a motorcyclist during that period but bought an old desktop during my NCE3 even without any form of computer training.) My discovery about my course and all these disasters that faced me made me become emotionally down for the first time in a very long while. Thanks to my sweet, understanding girl friend. Now I have decided to say goodbye to everything called electronic gadgets; I decided to find a new source of income. I was able to mop up 120k and bought a used keke (tricycle) around 23rd of December, 2015 (a good way of ending the year). However, the worst has just happened (a bad way of starting a new year). To be continued… |
