Embattled Governor of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki is yet to give up his plans to force himself on the people for second term ambition.

The Governor haven lost support of party faithfuls in the state has since resolved to autocratic measures to ensure he coerces the support of party members, despite his numerous violent measure he has continued to put in place to show the people that there will be consequences for anyone who chooses to oppose him, the people have stood their ground, willing to face any consequences from the Governor

They have been numerous threats to close businesses of those against him down, the recent was the demolition of the hotel belonging to an APC chieftain who Comr Tony kabaka, who made it clear that he was never going to support the incumbent Governor for a second term

After the NWC of the party changed the location of it's Edo state secretariat with a written letter duly signed by the National Chairman of the party Comr Adams Oshiomole, ChrisOsaMedia.come gathered that the Governor in is usual way of violence is alleged to have concluded plans to commence demolition of that new secretariat of the party in the state, which is located on No. 18 Ighiwiyisi street off airport road, Benin City.


It is alleged that Mr. Osagiede, who Obaseki is parading as his own APC (illegal) state publicity secretary, while discussing with some of his friends, boasted that there is no cause for alarm as the state government is perfecting plans to demolish the newly approved Edo state APC Secretariat.

The reason behind Obaseki’s intention to demolish the Secretariat is not far fetched as the Governor may have understood that his puppet Chairman Anslem Ojezua who has since been suspended by majority of party state excos, will not be functioning especially now that the governorship primary election has since been slated to hold June 22nd, and coupled with the fact that the embattled Governor losing grip of party faithfuls, and the only way he could emerge as candidate of the party is through coercion and violence, which the party and Edo people have vowed to resist.

Who are the Edo people you are talking about?
Are you the court that says Anslem Ojezua is not the authentic Edo APC chairman?
Are you supporting an individual to occupy government land that is met for the Edo people? Tell Tony Kabaka to bring the c of o of the land he build the hotel. Did Obaseki touch his house that has c of o?

I and Majority of Edoites refuse to support any form of godfatherism. If APC refuse Obaseki the ticket, we will vote another party. Just watch and see.

This work is done by Governor Obaseki. Note: This road have been abandoned since Oshiomole time. All the Road projects you mentioned are NDDC and Ministry of Niger Delta projects. While others are National Assembly constituency Projects.

Obaseki doesn't have upto 5 projects of his own since he assumed office 4 years ago.

Ring road to ugbowo is where I pass all the time, Oshiomole did 5 junction, it was so fine but immediately he left government, the place was so bad with potholes because it was not done well. It was Obaseki that reworked on it and there is no potholes now as I speak..
If you can visit Benin, go ask bus drivers plying ring road to ugbowo to confirm, if they tell you otherwise, come here to say it.

From what I saw with my eyes and witnessed
TV road was done and completed by Obaseki.
5 junction Oshiomole did was so bad immediately he left government, Governor Obaseki later fix it and is without potholes now.
The road in front of police station in Ring road was worked on again by Governor Obaseki because the one Oshiomole did gone bad with potholes.
I drove through lucky way some weeks ago, the road is now perfectly motorable compare to Oshiomole time when the road was terribly bad.
Ekehuan road to Ekehuan barack is seriously under construction.
Emokpae primary school, some schools in ugbowo was renovated by Governor Obaseki.
I passed through central park a day ago, work is seriously ongoing there.
No worker in the state have been owed salary or salaries.
Obaseki removed multiple taxing in form of ticketing.
Ogba Stadium has a new and standard look now
I can't not lie because of politics because I'm non partisan, almost all the works Oshiomole did were substandard in quality, almost all of them is nowhere to be found.
You can't expect 100% from humans, though have not benefitted from Obaseki government directly but indirectly, he tried in his administration in Edo State. God forbid he doesn't get the ticket, I will use the election day to sleep because I'm not seeing any other candidate both in APC and PDP that can surpass Obaseki's achievement.

Tony Kabaka celebrated he worth #1B few years ago, where did he got the money from? What was his worth before Oshiomole?
If you are from Benin City in Edo State, you will know what I'm talking about.
Oshiomole is fighting for his relevance and political children like Kabaka, henry idiagbon, Samson Osagie etc. By the grace of God, they will all fail.
Samson Osagie and Tony Kabaka have said it severally that they are fighting Obaseki because he refused to recognize politicians in the state. God forbid I support the status quo that had robbed the state of necessary development.
Lastly, go check siluko road that Oshiomole did, you will think that road is 30years.
Road the roads Oshiomole was 4years lifespan with billions of Naira. Where is the #30B he borrowed from world bank for water storm project? Where did he got his money to build his mansion in Iyamho?

I would have ignored you because you spoke like someone who have not been to Edo State. For the record, Governor Obaseki is one of the best performing APC governors but he fought those that have robbed Edo State dry and those are the people fighting him back. Who are those fighting him now? Those Governor Obaseki banned from selling tickets to enriched themselves. Are you aware Tony Kabaka celebrated #1B? How did he made the money? Was he having any industries? You think to make #1B is easy? You know how people suffered during lucky Igbinedion and Oshiomole? Is Obaseki owing any workers salaries? is there not difference in the road, schools and other infrastructure in Edo State?
Have not benefitted directly from the governor but I'm okay with his achievement so far, I will vote for him over and over again. He did more than Oshiomole, is just that he is not loud with it. As a proud and humble Edoite, I will vote for him in the direct primary as well as the main election.
My pray is, who will not mean well for Edo State will sleep and not wake up.
