Because there isn't much economic activities going on over there in edo. Building airport without proper plains to fly into it doesn't make much sense. How many industries are there in that state you don't just build airport you need to consider whether its relevant to your people.

Fashola seems to be a gentleman. Thats why he would even bother re-visiting the market with Rochas out of courtesy. Whoelse has visited the market?! Who?! Please name names?!

ndu_chucks: In fairness to Fashola, there may be a culture of filth evident in traders from the East. Here are some pictures from Ariara market in Aba taken a couple of years ago. The market is in worse deplorable state as of last month - Okorocha and fellow SE governors should address that major health hazard.
