Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Why The Age Discrimination On Jobs? by untainted: 12:53pm On Mar 24, 2010 |
busybody20: It's unfortunate that most Employers discriminate based on age for reasons best known to them. It's quite painful when you see a Job advert for Graduate Trainee Maximum Age will be 25yrs! What happens if one finished from the University at the age of 27 yrs? Does that mean no jobs for them? Hence the reason why some people lie on their Cv
People grow older every day but some grow younger everyday! yes oh, some 75 yr olds use wheelchair and crutches in office but insist they are just 46. check our ministries in abuja |

Politics › Re: Alleged Diversion Of N19 Billion From River Niger Dredging Is False by untainted: 5:48pm On Mar 01, 2010 |
Damage control is all this is; never effective in Nigeria by the way.
Jonathan acted unwisely especially taking such a decision immediately after meeting with so called "niger delta stakeholders" the previous night.
A wise person would have just sat on the file and let it gather dust or find other means of sabotaging the dredging.
As for the war chest against the Yar'adua camp that the diverted N19 billion would have been, a wiser person would have talked to one of the six governors of the south south states without tampering with an impeachable matter cus he needed to have secured the consent of the national assembly before that diversion.
Jonathan still has a lot to learn in terms of public sensitivty (he has alienated potential friends) |

lee007: Old Carmel of Zimbabwe
This old beast of African Union Still chewing hey from the ages With long weak limbs and wrinkles His pride still hard like pebbles How far will he take these crackles?
The master fox still kills Casting his brethren into cages His hunt dogs bite without remorse The sight of blood his spirit arouses The fire of the huts he never quenches
This old cargo of Zimbabwe After feeding fat from their milk Suddenly feel the need to be a farmer Even the plough knew ill fail An animal farm the whites fled from
Mugabe still feels he is loved Praised by those who sniff from power One day the drunk will be doped in filth Now that a millions can’t buy a loaf The world to him has gone so mad
Please Sir don’t think of it That wazobia should leave the land The white is nice but black is wise Eyes closed your Excellency and say this prayer Gbam! You dumb old Carmel

Yes, one actually phoned me to tell me she regrets being a virgin till marriage. We were together at the university. She said she wants to "test other men" before she starts making babies. They got married last year.
But I must add that this singular act doesn't mean all women change for the worse or that men don't change for the worse. |

aieromon: @untainted I take your defense to mean you work there. IMO,Daily Trust is a crappy newspaper.Oh yeah,i've had the opportunity to read it once or twice because it's the only paper being read where i am in Katsina.I stopped buyin' it and i would prefer to read online editions of consistent dailies not a bunch of crappy journalism Now back to the topic at hand!! " a slowpoke" or whatever u call urself! u should bury ur head in shame as u watch all that Daily Trust say come to pass. Carry ur ITK attitude to another planet. u left the substance of the story and were attacking the paper that u "had the opportunity of reading once or twice." Can u specify an instance of crappy journalism by Daily Trust and can u pls tell me ur idea of "consistent dailies" Daily Trust led with ASUU story yesterday and also today 08/10/09, againn tell me what "consistent" means Sorry to burst ur bubbles, I am a journalist but i don't have to work for Daily Trust to know its a great paper. i pity the kind of children you would raise with such narrow and blind view to life |
