Hmmmmmm! to think that our universities unleash people like the poster as graduates every year on the rest of us is really unsettling and defies logic. : come to think of it, why no comments from unilag (under)graduates so far? quite agree with showbobo that poster may just be masquerading! @showbobo, it's insulting to say poster is an FCE student; more like nomadic school. |

@df2006 In journalism, there is what is called attribution and all Sunday Independent has done is use a lot of it. An official of the World Bank, who pleaded not to be mentioned-So are you saying it is not the official position of the world bank but that of one faceless official who refuses to be mentioned. Pls no faceless official can speak for the world bank. Agreed, the world bank may have reservations but it has ways of making that known, not through faceless officials being bandied about by one faceless journalist who wants to achieve God knows what. Stop playing the ostrich please |

yes O! people should be reasonable enough to pause for a second and say "yes, this mainly affects my people but is the action right?" so far, Sanusi is doing a great job and for those who are talking of consequences of his actions, ask yourselves, what would have been the result of inaction. Peeps, you can't have Omelette without cracking the egg(s) plssssssss! |

ODE IRA NU SECONDED, but i daresay that Soludo did not only delay the mess but actually aided and abbetted the malfeasances that now stare us in the eyes. Time alone will reveal the depth of Soludo's involvement in this nasty affair |

aondoaka is just chasing shadows and raising a smokescreen he is a crook of the lowest commmon denominator and unless he changes his ways and begins to advise his boss accordingly, nuhu ribadu and el-rufai will never run out of fodder to f, k the administration up. Note-i did not say ribadu is a saint or his style is noble. so far, his strategy works |

Funseeka: I can still remember it like yesterday. The poor woman was pushing as the nurse kept on shouting ‘push push’. I have already made up my mind I wouldn’t come out until July 27th. Then came the ‘D-day’, she was weak and tired but she needn’t push as I just walked out of her. July 27 is the day the three (3) wise men went to visit Jesus in the manger; ‘do not quote me’.
@Moses-hola and Loyeruope
We are the three wise men in da house so far. I wish you guys the best things in life and of course to all da guys born in da holy month of July. One love babalawo: July 27th @ the shrine lets go there !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! stand up, stand up, for the champions, stand up! 5 is a crowd let the party begin |

skfa1: Have you ever been there to do one thing or the other? pls share your experience.
My Experience
I got there around 10am, what a shame people lining up outside and one man taking them in one by one, people squeezing each other to get in (Number pick system should have been used in this situation). I managed to get in and here we go lots of people sitting down and complaining and making noise, the whole atmosphere looks like when u are in Naija. They put this tall Hausa guy at the door to give customer service. Infact you need to see they way he was talking to people in a bad manner (definitely not a good customer service). He nearly tear off one woman document when argument broke out. Another woman with three kids started another fight. Because the guy behind me knew the guy on the counter, he just jumped the Que and submitted his document so i have to complain. management is just really poor, people saying that Hausa guy at the door hasn't even got WAEC,NVQ not even to talk of ND, but because he is tall and can fight very well thats why they put him there, u need to see his face, he has scar face.
Sometime ago i was complaining about two Nigerian bank workers having a big argument in front of their customer, this is just not right. We need to step up in how we do things and how we manage things (management)
Finally sha i was able to do what i went for in Naija Embassy in London but trust me management is quite different from other office in UK that is been conducted by the white people. u raised very important issues and have received very sensible replies. but i want to know if it is about the Hausa man or the problems of the embassy |
