This is a bit late but make I add my own :

I'm a guy from a very religious family. My parents were basically good people; even if a tad "spiritual".
My dad loved the bible especially the new testaments; I remember when I was young how he would call me to sit on his side while we discuss the corinthians (1st and 2nd), Romans, Galatians, Timothys and all and how they affect our life today.

The old testament was a relic, a piece of book no longer needed; The new Testament was the MAIN... That was my fathers view although he didn't say it expressely; for like every other kid, I was fascinated by the wars fought by the isrealites (Joshua was a badass, killing four kings in one day ) and how they always triumphed.... It seemed glorious to me; seemed magnificent and grand. I remember reading the book of Job and wondering the moral of the story. To be Honest, Job seemed to have more points than god did. I remember reading the Psalms, and enjoying the flowery language.

In essence, I held Christianity in high esteem. I truly believed it would solve the worlds problem. Sure, I was disppointed when I hear "Pastor robs church of 10m, runs away" or "choir member sleeps with pastor, becomes pregnant" but it was always brushed over as signs of endtime or at best put to Satan's Malevolence. I thought Everybody not Christians were living a miserable life. I wondered how they could survive without god and how doomed they were

I was a fool.

secondly, when MUAFRIKA2 the liar for Satan(jehovah) challenged me, saying that I am a devil and I share loots with some people, I ALSO TOOK IT UPON MYSELF THAT IF INDEED I AM FROM THE DEVIL OR I BELONG TO A CULT, THEN HIS god Jehovah should prove himself by letting me die before 7am next day as his god has always been taken up such challenges in his babble(bible). His god who killed Koran, Dathan and Abram in similar challenges, killed Herod, Ananias and Sapphira, 102 people who challenged Elijah, smote many people with blindness in the time of Elisha, etc. could not kill me before the next day. This again is a prove that his god, Jehovah, is paralysed in our own world, unlike in the times of the Neanderthals and hominids.

Now again, Goodys has brought up a challenge. To my surprise, just this morning, I received some cash into my account in double of what I was expecting. Goddys is this how your god works? I will go to the bank to confirm whether they made mistake and if they didn't, I will pay tithe of the money I received on this thread.

If you watch closely, her personal life as kara was perfect buh as Supergirl is a no no for me. so she as an actor is not the problem.

But u are right, the writer f**k up too big time. The season one would have been a badass if they have portary a darker, mean, no nonsense, not too serious looking Supergirl who fight to destroy, instead of a little mommy 's girl who is been managed by the d.o.c to take down aliens because she is from krypton.

Mr seun , I was an atheist few years ago ... it all started when I wanted to study the word of God myself (Holy Bible), suddenly I started questioning and my atheism grew fasters with the catalyst of nairaland religions section then I felt i was not alone, fast forward to last year, I went to ekiti state with my dad, then we met a prophetess .. immediately she did her prayer stuff which I didn't even replied with amen, she told us the reason we came and how my dad enemy wanted to kill him 3yrs ago, ( actually 3yrs ago, my dad told us while he was sleeping he felt something strange like a sharp object in his body and immediately he woke up , he had pissed on his body, then he was building a structure in his hometown - he was not okay for like 3 months so he prayed and fasted and he was okay ) [b]so the prophetess said a close relative fired an arrow to him s[/b]piritually that "is he the only 1 that will be building houses" .. so after she closed my dad chapter , she told me about not close to God and stuff like that.. my atheism was already fading away ... then she held a bible and a big key (not modern keys) , and inserted the key at the middle of the bible in a way that the key head is outside the bible , then she will hold the key at the top, (the reviewing part outside) and ask questions just like the normal oracle stuff.. she tells the bible to rotate to the right if something is true.. I was shocked .. I kept looking at her hand if she was not the 1 rotating it herself .. she give bible to my dad to hold, and ask questions about the future, in a way like (example : if seun's gf is his real wife , rotate right then she will command it to rotate left again "in Yoruba language" ) and the bible will rotate ... I just kept looking at the bible ..my knowledge in physics could not rescue or tell my why the bible was rotating, I kept my eyes close to it , anytime it's rotate .. ever since then my atheism belief was no where to be found, not that i can't reason logically again but I have evidence of God existence and am still not an extremist.. I pray to God quietly and hope to make heaven, I have stopped questioning and diverted that energy to something else maybe it could help humanity later on.. I think what we should campaign about is the limited time we have here on earth, to make the world a beautiful place and make Africa great
