Theunbothered:
All that Lagos magic na lie, Tinubu did not build a god damn thing while he was governor. Lagos was at its greatest height during the military era, after they moved to Abuja the place was taken over by touts and hooligans.
Real lagosians are aware of this fact, that's why he was rejected at the poll.

Bro, the president does not have the constitutional authority to supervise the Governors. The President can only supervise the Ministers. I remembered vividly how the Governors took Jonathan to court in respect of the excess crude oil proceeds. The courts categorically said the Federal government does not have any legal right to hold on to the statutory allocations accrued to States. Most of the Governors collected their shares and used it to purchase private jets. The LGA chairman (who collects levies from cars, bikes, traders and stores) refuses to construct coucil roads because he can easily attribute the blame to the Gov,While a redundant Gov with few people oriented projects to his name will blame the president for his own inefficiency. Every tier of Govt should be held accountable.... including the councilors and house of assembly members
Nigeria is suffering a systemic failure from top to bottom which has got us running in circles for age with no head ways.Every tiers of government is interconnected and united on either party affiliation or common interest.
Local government chairmen owe their allegiance to the state governors who appoint them, how do you owe such a chairman accountable?
The state governors tho elected still always want to be on the good book of the president because once they get embattled, the president will wade in.
Untill we have a president who has the genuine and sincere intention who can summon the courage to fix things from the top.

Only the naysayers, criminal defamers, cowardly insecured narcissists, cyberbullies and unpatriotic elements will neither see nor benefit from these major positive results of your policies in our nation.

Most of you shouting lies should go and ask your Governors if their allocations have not increased over the past 4months. Why do we think its only the Federal govt that should be accountable to us? What are the LGA chairmen doing with their allocations? What are the House Reps and Senators doing with constituency funds? Every single one of them should be held accountable. Then and only then can we experience change
When the head is rotten,it affects the whole body. Picture a situation of a mentally unstable man who is sick in the head, the rest of his body are overworked without been productive. He treks without a known destination, carry baggages he doesn't need. What is responsible for is because the brain a key component of the central nervous system has stop functioning properly.
So you can't heap blames on other tiers of government because the FG that is supposed to offer them the template to function well is not functioning properly.Working is not just about disbursing money to them without supervision on what they do with the money.

What about her parent? I would have asked you to discuss with her family but I don't think that will be necessary because I don't understand how a girl who is unmarried will be staying under the roof of a man without the man doing the needful things. It's either her parents don't care about her or she is utterly useless like you claimed undecided

PoliticsRe: Nigeria’s Transport Inflation Surprisingly Falls For The First Time In 2 Years by Usmanovic95(m): 3:51pm On Nov 20, 2023
Based on context of this write up,the increase in petrol price from #189 to #600 which is over 200% isn't reflective with transport cost as percentage increase in price is not concurrent with percentage increase in cost of transport.

But there is obviously nothing to celebrate here,as the people in the transport business are the ones at the recieving end. They barely make profit and they can't afford to increase the fare because of possible boycott by passengers who will rather trek than pay an additional cost to what they perceived as high cost of transport.

Fortunately, football can be funny sometime. Those teams you thought can give us problem could be very easy at the end of the day. Remember how we all write them off during 2018 World cup qualification with Cameroon and Algeria on our way.

All the teams in that group will still lose points, if we are serious henceforth, I don't see why we can't make it.
It's always good to lower expectations on factors you can't control,so you won't feel too disappointed.
Our good headstart during the 2018 world cup qualifiers boosted our hope. An away win against Zambia and a home victory against Algeria followed by a resounding victory against Cameroon please don't even try to compare it with this lacklustered start to this campaign.
You assuming all the teams will drop points, what gives you the assurance that Nigeria won't drop any point as well because other teams will also be banking on that. Good wishes is not for Nigerians alone.😊
I hope we qualify but it is going to be quite difficult a journey for us.

Here is another pessimistic idiotic tribalist. How many Yorubas are in the team that you started blaming a whole race for Eagle failure? Did they swear for you tribalists on Nairaland?

With 9 slots giving to Africa, there is no way eagle will not qualify for 2026 World Cup. It is good they did not lose today, all they need to do is to win as many more matches as possible.

Lesotho and Zimbabwe can be beating in the second legs, likewise others including South Africa. Only a short sighted person we say they won't qualify after just two matches.
There is no way eagles will not qualify, I guess it is our birthright abi. This is the issue with us, we always overrate our abilities until reality check hit on the wrong spot.
On paper we have dropped point against the two lowest ranked teams Lesotho and Zim. What scares me is the fact we haven't even faced our biggest tests Benin Republic now coached by Gernot Rohr and The Bafana Bafana who always have a score to settle with us.
I love been a realist than been an optimist, truth is we are in a pretty unsafe situation, thoze dropped points has put a dent on our hope.

Emotions always run high in your family because you are from a family of bloody hypocrites. Please did you ask yourself the same question in 2019? How many PDP governors were sacked in 2019 aside Imo? Did you remember Zamfara and Bayelsa? why didn't you blame PDP then and ask if they had conscience?
Must you always make mention of people's family to make a point?
PoliticsRe: Plateau: Appeal Court sacks Gov Mutfwang (PDP), affirms Nentawe (APC) by Usmanovic95(m): 6:08pm On Nov 19, 2023
APC supporters , you guys all have conscience I know, please try and ask yourself why the tribunal or the appeal court hasn't sack any out of the all the APC governors that won elections and re-election. Are they the only ones who won fairly without electoral fault and blemishes?Let us always remember the law of reciprocity and stop defending what we know is outright evil.

Seriously up till today,I still don't know why Gernot Rohr was sacked, the man was meeting targets and delivering results. He qualified us for 2018 world cup with relative ease even though our group then was dubbed as the group of death( Algeria Cameroon Zambia). Even if he was to be replaced,it should have been an upgrade; Eguavoen and Peseiro are not even at par not to talk of been an upgrade.

Exactly! Our destiny was in our hands, beat Lesotho and be home and dry but we make a mountain out of it.Even if we come out with a victory in this game,we will still be relying on results of our other rivals.

I was at a filling station today and a man who came to also get fuel said one of the nastiest thing I haven't heard in a long while, he said " he won't mind government increasing a liter of fuel to #700 as long as filling station don't alter the liter size".You needed to see the kind of scornful look everyone gave him undecided.Alot Nigeria couldn't afford fuel at #600, he is there envisaging a price of #700/liter.😲
Later, I realize that man is an actual representation of an average Nigerian. An average Nigerian believe nature has bless him/her with adaptive versatility to survive whatever their leaders throw at them. They will always find solace in an imaginary consolation. cry
