I'm driving a jeep. Let all men bow before me.
Oh, let me hold up a phone to my ear.
BECAUSE I LOOK SO DAMN COOL DOING IT.
Let me even write and ping on WhatsApp.
This is freaking awesome men. I feel so high

Are these not the thoughts that go through ones head because one owns a phone and has gotten hold of a car?

There's a need to reorientate drivers on the dangers of over speeding, accident everyday with over speeding as the major cause is really saddening.
BTW what happened to speed limit trackers the FRSC asked commercial vehicles to have, cause it seems those drivers are he'll bent on sending people to early graves
Mobile phone is the cause.
Any of:
1. He was answering a call
2. He was doing project management - using the phone to instruct somebody, who is relaxing safely at home, what to do

If you are driving, forget about other matters Leave all to God. But put YOUR MIND on the driving that you are doing.

My brother, nigerian men think that marrying a nurse is a meal ticket for them, and nurses knows these and as such have become very wayward . Am saying these cause I have seen many guys dying in silence, but can't talk. The ones you hear about is the stupid ones that kill instead of walking away.

I must go to America attitude.
If one does not plan for the type of spiritual battles that you must fight there, frustration will kill you.

In their primary schools they already teach that there is nothing like boy or girl. Boy can wear bra and rub lipstick. No body should talk. Parents should not correct him.

Lunatic set of misguided sexual orientation. If you quote Bible, they will say you are old fashioned.

May God help all those in US and those Nigerians running there without spiritual defence.

This one don take him hand kill himself again!

Why are people so wicked in that part of the country..? Blood shedding means nothing to them again..eeh ! Two people just disappeared like that !
When you squander wealth in their faces. And you leave no opportunity for them to ever catch up with you.
The more you lead a life of wealth squandering, the more they will attack.

There are jobs in Nigeria but unemployable people abound too much
Walk a mile in his shoes.
See the home he came from,
See the type of school he went to
- no teachers, no benches, leaking roof,
- teachers not teaching anything but answering phone calls in class...
See the muddy pot hole roads he passes to school
See how many times you passed by him on the road inside your jeep with AC, blew exhaust smoke on his face and splashed water on his clothes.
See how many times police and MoPo came to beat him and his friends when they hung around jobless at the side of the road.
See how many times your pastor bought watch, shoe, jeep, private jet....
How he built private schools/university that only the rich could afford.
How many times you did not do anything for him.
-
Then one day, the navel officer employed him as a houseboy.
And probably started beating him up for simple mistakes.
Is this the kind of boy that knows how to set table with Fork and Knief?

Then you say unemployable youth, when he has learnt NOTHING his entire life under hot sun.

Probably now, you hope he is convicted and either sent to prison permanently or "better" still hanged.

slightlyMad:
Truth be told, the number one cause of road accidents in nigeria is the lane lines which we dont have on our roads.
Those white lines are there for a reason, you are required by law to drive in between those lines which is your lane.

In nigeria, the lanes they know is express lane and service lane. Smh, what a joke of a country.

When you change lane without signalling, you will get a ticket if a cop is nearby.

The yellow line at the center means 2 way road so you know other cars are coming.

I will recommend a compulsory 1 year minimum living in the US or UK before you should be allowed to head any FRSC senior positions.

If this had been in place, these sets of local champions would by now have worked with law makers to make laws that further protect road users.

In the US and UK, you can drive a car for 10 years without a scratch, in naija, before you get home from the dealership, one danfo driver would have helped you rub brake oil on your car

Talking about bicycle, you can ride on any public road around the world except highways.
And all these pettiness and detailing of how one should ride should be dropped already.
I was carried by a friend in the UK on their roads. I saw all the lanes and asked her in surprise, 'how come you have all these lines? We don't have them in Nigeria". She replied, "we have them because they're painted there".
-
So we cannot paint in the whole Nigeria again?

Because the church today is not functioning in it fullness.some church focus only on the word.while some focus only on holiness.while some focus only on prophecy .while some focus only on prosperity.while some focus only on healing .while others only on miracles.Another on deliverance. That was never the plan of God for the church.God want his church to flow on all this at the same time .don't just focus on one area and neglect the other.preach the word of holiness and prosperity, then go ahead to heal the sick ,cast out demons and give prophecy to those that need directions.
Enough of break away churches. There are over 46,000 broken away churches. Trace your root back to the original church. It requires much humility and acceptance . That church is very much here in Nigeria and worldwide.

If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, "be uprooted and plant yourself in the sea" and it will do it.
This is what Jesus tells us.

But people spend a lot of time in places worshiping THE PASTOR.

They quote Bible left and right. But I never heard anyone quote Jesus Christ himself from Mathew, Mark, Luke and John.

In summary, they have no faith in Jesus Christ.
TV/MoviesRe: Watch This Short Solo Action Film - Nollywood Needs This Guy! by uuzba(m): 8:54am On Jun 10, 2018
Dyoungstar:
cry

I was actually thinking this way before I got into the game proper.

It is not all about doing something crazy and stunning, you can do it because it's your creation, your imagination but when you are working for someone, especially, on a script written by someone, produced by another, directed by another you'll find that it is not all about what you think it is.

I edit Nollywood movies, I by virtue of grace and experience have edited blockbusters showing on Iroko tv, Africa magic, cinemas and rest. Frankly speaking before I got to the position I am, I used to over believe myself, that I will get into the industry and make a drastic change. I will turn things around, I will bring up concepts and give the old guys a chase, but reaching there it turned out that I must do it their way or remain where I was. It's either you are doing it their way or you are nowhere at all, never you think you can just come and displace people who have been there long before your imagining joining.

You can make impact and introduce your ideas but it has to take you time, you may think you can achieve that with your money bit many have come with their millions and gone AWOL with empty pockets. You need intelligence to sustain and survive.

In all, the guy tried in the video but he needs to work hard, what he did is what any beginner can do. Gun battle and mussle flare is nothing when it comes to filmmaking.

This flick can not be rated as a short film, the only thing that will make filmmakers appreciate this is the effort he put in making it as a beginner else nothing special and technical in what I saw in the video.

This is my honest opinion.
What I know about movies is that it is not a one man business.
Someone writes a story. The Writer:
Chike and the River is a story.

Someone turns it into a script. How the actors should stand and face each other. What people should be doing in the background. Which direction camera should face. And what angle .

Someone makes their costume. (Chike and the River is a 1940-1950 story) So all their clothes and hair styles are different from Today's dressing

Someone makes props. The furniture and all the other things you see in the background. Realistic.

Someone trains the actors. And selects them.
That guy that acted Terminator 2, the panel of judges didn't tell him what the role was. They just asked him to walk across the room and look at them. He just naturally did it like a hardened Nigger Terminator (vex full for face). That's why you will watch the film and really believe that guy can kill you from inside the TV.

Some one (people )/handle all the cameras

Some one (people) handle the music.

Someone finally does the editing.

Another set go and market the film.

Accountant gathers the money and pays all of the above.

No be one man work.

Good talent. Nollywood will not see this one, because him no get Yansh to share
Nollywood does not waste time on movies that they are not likely to sell to the masses. They act films to sell and get back their money fast.

If they put up this film for sale (market), only a few youth here (who don't even have money) will watch it free (without buying the CD). The rest of Nigerias will watch nyash film (the type that already makes money for nollywood).

3- hustle hard

5- gt married to a foreigner to b a citizen
Don't mind OP. Like say he doesn't know.
TravelRe: 5 Things Most Nigerians Do On Vacation Abroad by uuzba(m):
Op,
I did not do any of the 5 things overseas
1. Football doesn't add anything to my pocket. I did not go to Stadium

2. I often get malaria here. There's no mosquito in Oyibo land. I did not get malaria and there was nothing else to fall sick of.
So, I did not do any medical.

3. I cannot be spending money like a millionaire. Our Naira is very much devalued. I first got a job to earn their money and purchased normal things.(rice, stew, bread)

4. I did not waste my time indoors. I was already indoors in Nigeria. I went on bus excursions to their beach to touch their water (ice cold useless water), I purchased a bicycle and rode around all their roads, I later rented a car and drove from Yorkshire to London and back. (Nice roads)

5. What matters most is getting a job. So no emphasis on graduation. I was already working before graduating.

Sochimaobim:
One of the major problems with Nigeria is that there is a HUGE gap between the rich and the poor. It becomes very frustrating for those who fall on the wrong side of the divide.
People are poor because they try to copy and paste the lives of rich people.

My grandfather used to transport palm fruit from the farm, by canoe along the river to the collection point where White men collected and took it to England. Right here, this same Nigeria
That time, people had no shoes, no cars, no TV. People were contented. 1920~1930

Guess what?
£1 = N1.
-
If you are contented with your own local produce, your currency has high value. Everybody has work. No thieves.

Today, everybody wants TV, Fridge, apple, cornflakes, jeans, watch. All kinda of imported items. We don't produce any of them. But we want everything imported in our homes. 2018

Guess what?
£1 = N420.

This same Nigeria.
