Sinbad2007:Don't mind those bastards who never see above their nose. That Aluko should be jailed. This guy became a billionaire in less than 1 year. That's why we can't move forward as a country because some eediots will still rise up to the defence of those insatiable yam eaters who used our commonwealth to fund their ostentatious lifestyles. Aluko was a guest in a US party and guess what, he gave the celebrant $1m to buy champagnes. |
Awwal1st:Tyranny ko tireni ni.. The question is, "is he guilty of the offense"? Forget about the modus operandi of his arrest. This is healthy for our democracy. Whenever another government comes on board, they will investigate and probe the opposition/previous government so this prosecution cycle will go on as a new government comes on board. This will put our politicians in check because when they are outta power, their corrupt practices when they were in government must be investigated. Imagine the allegations of looting public funds in billions. Do you know how many people are suffering to make ends meet? Some wished they could goto school, but no money; some others dont even have food, shelter, clothes, zero access to portable drinking water.. I was part of a medical outreach & we visited a village in Abuja. Trust me, i never in my wildest dream ever thought such a place existed. We drove in a bush path in pykassa for 30mins. These people were living in abject poverty. They were not just ill looking, but malnourished, some were even naked. They said that politicians only come to visit them during elections. 80% of them couldnt speak English, but their native gbagi language. Thats how bad i knew people are suffering in this country. |
Buy your mom an electric yam pounder if you love her so much man.. |
Icecomrade:Was GEJ not biased against the ibos? Why didn't he fix the roads all thru his catastrophic regime? |
OKKO:Senseless response. You obviously a shiite or you are simply unintelligent. Threat to babies in the world ko.. The worse that may possibly happen is that the incidence of polio within that community will rise and it will be curbed even amongst them when they start seeing accute flaccid paralysis hit one or two babies den dey parents of other babies will leave and secretly take their babies to neighbouring health centres. Who be El-zazaky to hold Routine Immunization to ransom. |
otukpo:Scatter ko arrange ni. If a common maggi criminal or armed robber is caught pants down in your area, you'd be the first to shout "burn him" wether or not you witnessed it, but when a corrupt government official who doesn't know you from adam, or can't condescend so low to even talk or make love to you, steals your commonwealth as a nation, ignoramus and uneducated nincompops like you will be the first to yell "release him"; "innocent until proven guilty". Selfish politicians that made money from innocent blood of our military men. If you lost a brother/relative/confidant in the military due to their evil and greedy act, you probably wouldn't be spewing trash on this forum. Those sets of idots can even finance boko haram again. They have stolen a lifetime of wealth. Better face your menstruation and leave politics alone. There's nothing you can contribute to it. |
Adaure4ever:You are a pharmacist? Nice!! Where did you train? As men of honour we join hands. Lets connect.. gonna inbox you.. |
YoursGEJ:Same thing i told my friends the other day. How do we trust a government that looted us dry when they had oil selling above $100pb for 41 consecutive months? A government that was still borrowing N3.7tn to pay salaries between 2010 to 2012. In late 2014 oil prices dropped to $54pb and they borrowed N882bn to pay salaries. Have we heard that PMB has gone borrowing yet even with oil selling @$38pb? A government that borrowed $1bn to fight boko haram in 2014 and the money found its way into individual bank accounts. A government that plunged us into more debts by borrowing $1.1bn from China to fund the railway projects. Where are the sure-p projects funded from subsidy savings? Sadly those Monies all got looted by members of the previous governments. NLC should be going on strike to negotiate reduction in wages and allowances of our legislators. Their salaries eats up 25% of our recurrent expenditure. Monies can be saved from there and redistributed evenly to raise minimum wage. NLC should be going on strike to ensure salaries of workers in government establishment such as the cbn, NNPC, NDIC, PPPRA, NCC, FIRS are reviewed downwards by RMAFC and be made even across board. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/business/182543-nigerian-govt-borrowing-billions-to-pay-salaries-okonjo-iweala.html |
GWMI:Why would the company your brother works for refuse to speak? If i get arrested wrongly by the police and accused of doing something I'm paid for by my company, they will identify me as their staff as soon as possible. For instance, if a police arrests a bank driver while on duty with the company car and accuses the driver for stealing the car he is driving, ofcourse the bank will come to his aid by saying he is their staff and the said car he was seen driving was for the company. If they couldn't clearly identify themselves when they got caught by the military, then its obvious there is something fishy about their identity. The first question a security operative will ask is "identify yourselves", then if in doubt they pick u up. |
plaetton:Spare me that crap. GEJ borrowed $1bn in 2014 to fight boko haram. Abacha's loot was returned in 2015 and still got stolen. The EFCC are investigating both loots holistically. Don't absolve the previous administration of never having upto $2.1bn in their kit to fight boko haram. http://saharareporters.com/2014/07/16/jonathan-requests-one-billion-dollar-foreign-bailout-battle-boko-haram http://thesheet.ng/officials-of-jonathans-government-stole-recovered-abacha-loot-cislac/ |
I concur. The minimum wage in Seattle is $30,000 PA and President Obama earns $400,000 PA. Nigerian politicians are shameless. |
nawtyme:Oga he is asking a good question. Have you ever read about bill clinton having lunch with his family in London? Or have you heard about Tony blair having lunch with his family in Germany? After that idiot of a being had his government ruin the nation economy, he is busy travelling up and down for useless vacations amidst the comatose and dysfunctional state he left this country. He should be in Bayelsa working it out with the state governor inorder to bring a lasting solution to the menace and suffering in his state which is atypical of an oil producing state. You couldn't even fix the east-west road for we the southerners. Imagine the achievement he boasted about that he turned Dangote from richest man in Nigeria to richest man in Africa and that we are now travelling by rail all over Nigeria (are the rails working yet), failing to tell them that 80% of the funds will come from China while 20% will come from Nigeria. China had to stop the project tentatively because the Nigerian government were failing to meet their own end of the bargain of providing 20% of the funds, because geedy fools in his government were sitting on those funds, devising means to loot it. Glad Buhari got into power and all of a sudden the monies were released. GEJ had oil selling above $100pb but still borrowed funds from IMF to pay salaries. You were an Egyptian plague to Nigeria. Glad we booted you out. Every member of your government found wanting will have to come and answer questions wether the move is politically motivated or not. All we care to know is that did they do it under your watch? |
youngeagle:Oh so they should be left with their loot right?Buhari is doing what your GEJ couldn't do. He is building a strong institution to checkmate corrupt practices from bad leaders and also convicting the criminals. Wether he is selective or not in conviction, the most important question is that did the accused persons commit the crime? So if another government comes in the can also do the same and convict criminals from previous administrations and with that, bad leaders will get the message real quick and stop stealing from Nigerians because they wouldn't know when they will be investigated for corruption. |
Rapmoney:You sre silly. Your country is suffering now due to bad governance that had lingered over the years.. Corrupt and selfish leaders looted your commonwealth for their self gains and you are fine with them just eating the loot and not paying the price. Maybe you are a beneficiary or youre trying to play foolish. |
domopps:Special platform from which God? The God that created you isn't different from the God that created the muslims, the bahai's, nor the buddhist worshipper. How come he makes different demands to different faiths? Because he doesnt require tithes to be paid in Buddishm but he requests for that in Christianity. Religion is the opium of masses. |
Sunnycliff:God is the only giver of success.. Who did he make? Tiwa that was a backup singer for Beyonce? Will you say Dantata made Dangote? What was the magical contribution he made to her, if i may ask? Look at how Laura Ikeji is riding so high on her Sister's fame. If she eventuallymakes it big, would you say Linda made her? Being a manager for Tiwa was enough to turn TJ to a multimillionaire, but could he utilise the opportunity? Ofocs No.. you lose your respect as a man once you fail to take up your God given reponsibilities. Take a look at Omotola for instance, her hubby is a trained pilot and an airline captain and that means he is sure of atleast N3m monthly. Wether his wife makes more money than him or not, he can comfortably run the family in luxury. Look at Tuface, his wife Annie has harnessed the fame potential and she made a nollywood switch to earn bucks and you dare not say Tuface made her. If opportunity meets preparation, you take your chance. There is no excuse for failure, particularly TJ who has a successful wife like Tiwa. If a woman brings money to the house to feed you, you can't command her to cook for you and all, cos she may or may not do it and there's nothing you can do about it. Its shameful they both came to wash their dirty linen in public. |
Shebi na dem want fresh boiz na? Some responsible potential suitors may have begged her sometime in her prime years to give them a chance to prove their A-game and show her love, but i bet she must have turned them down. Imagine a woman saying she was ok and was gonna deal with the fact her hubby was smoking weed!! I have a female friend who was so selective on guys many years back because she was so pretty but she is still unmarried, & now she is 28yrs and so desperate to settle because 80% of her friends are now married. Thats life!! You must live with the poor decisions that you make. To every sequence there is a consequence. To all those young single ladies who are still short sighted about life, probably waiting Mr. perfect to walk them down the aisle, life moves so fast;don't get caught up with your fantasies!! |
And even Ben murray Bruce aka Commom sense was listed. Shameful sets of people. Wether saraki is being witch hunted or by the APC power brokers, the simple question is "is he guilty of all those allegations"? If 'yes', then he should rot in jail for robbing from the down trodden Nigerians who form the vast majority of our population, if 'no', he should go and clear his name.. |
This guy must be HIV positive. He is a known homosexual and the risk of contracting HIV amongst his gay mates is as gigh as 90%. Gay asshole!!! He is not normal. See pics of this gay lord.

Vongsama:Oh well, things have gotten this bad because our major source of forex has been hit hard and we have no where to run to.. Our mono-economy is comatose because we don't wanna look inwards for self sufficiency, start growing our grains, refining our crude, mining and processing our mineral resources etc. We are living the pain now for taking wrong decisions over the years by voting on ethno-religious lines. |
Quakertellicus1:What we ahould be asking the PDP supporters is that, what do the think th previous government would have done differently? Ofcourse because they steal in billions to fund their ostentatious lifestyle, there probably wouldn't have been anything left in our reserves.. Many years ago, We had oil selling at auch a high price, but the then ruling government never thought about saving for the rainy day. It remains a mystery and a miracle that this government hasn't gone borrowing, because the previous government would have gone borrowing. Although oil was sellling for as high as $140pb the immediate past government still went onto borrow money and plunge us into more debts, the recovered abacha loot from Switzerland was still stolen. And yet some idiots would think this government is gonna pull magic with oil sellling at $35pb? Have they forgotten so soon that we are still a mono-economy and our major source of forex is from crudeoil produce? If PDP is their last hope, why did they fail to diversify this oil dependent economy over the 16years period? We should have been having another source of forex maybe from agric produce or whatever, but they bitter truth is that they didn't. Should the cbn open up its damn reserves and throw dollar at every dick and harry who needs it? It is simple economics, we are an importing nation and our demand for dollar is more than our dollar supply due to dwindling oil prices. Do people still want dollar so they can import palmoil from malaysia, toothpick from china etc? It will be so foolhardy and inhumane to compare 16years of pdp rule to 1year of apc rule. Apc goofed by promising what they can't offer within the initial time frame of 4years, but i am hopeful everything will be fine. My problem with this administration is the economic team. The finance minister and the CBN governor are both deadwood.. they both lack the expertise to stimulate this economy.. So please, pdp supporters should give me a break. They couldn't fix electricity problem in 16years, they couldn't provide us other basic ammenities like hospitals, portable drinking water and good roads etc all thru their 16 years of rule. |
Only genuine importers of raw materials for manufacturing industries get the dollar at interbank rate while ediots who wanna import palm oil, bottle, toothpick, tomato paste and other finished goods that can be manufactured comfortably here will get it at that BDC rate. It's simple. Use made in Nigeria products so you don't demand for dollars. If you wanna pay your fees for school, CBN gives it at interbank rate. I don't see anything wrong with the new forex rule o. I work for an indigenous pharmaceutical firm that manufacturer's locally and I can boldly say that this buhari led government is favoring local manufacturers so much. My sales has risen so much because the reliance on imported finished drugs is reducing. The finished products end up coming into the market at a cost higher than ours because of the custom tax on finished products and the dollars they get from greedy BDC outlets. Take a chill pill Abeg. |
If he doesn't know any combat sport, then he is shit. An MMA fighter or a BJJ black belter or a Judoka or a fine Boxer will take him pound for pound. Not by size ni o. |
Know2020:Stupidity. You should also state Wether GEJ met a debt free nation and what he left it with. You should also state that GEJ sold oil at $140/barrel yet he left us in debt. I don't see anything wrong with the new forex rule o. watts75:That camouflage doesn't look like Nigerian army. Besides, our military don't wear blue beret.. So, get your facts right Mr. Besides, those are not the type of rifle used used by the Nigerian Army... Those are French rifle rifles, so this must be from a French speaking country in Africa. |
Because ibos are greedy. |
She don taya to hide the baby foto? Rubbish!!! See him Ogo. Cute Ko, cutie ni... |
JaredNomak:Seems you love how much damage these bunch of eediots did when they were in power. If an armed robber gets caught, he is burnt, but these men have damage thus country because of their lust for money and yet an ordinary citizen like you who doesn't have as much as N20m chooses to stand up for him. He deserves to be treated the same way a common criminal should be treated. Call a spade a spade.. |
Buhari get taste for women o. His late ex wife looked so good, the present one also looks great too.. |
ICDY - I Chop Dasuki Yam |
Luukasz:My friend, go and sit-down.. When you have the opportunity to leave, you'd realise how much of time you have lost staying back in Nigeria. A country with zero progress, nothing works!! Mandela was a leader, are you one? The leaders we have in Nigeria are not ready to make sacrifices, so this country may never get better. Look at the Senate, demanding 40bn for car purchase.. Whenever I read about my country on the net, I weep!! |
I'd like to know which southeast state they will make the capital of biafra republic? Na here ibos go pai themselves.. Glad to know that only the 5 south-east states will form the potential biafran republic, no more no less. South-south has got no biz with you ethnic bigots. Please leave Nigeria alone. Start doing business with your biafran pounds if you are a patriotic Ibo man. Pay for amenities with your biafran pounds in onitsha, umuahia, abakaliki, owerri, awka if you bunch of ibos are that patriotic to your struggle.. Why is the naira still being used there please? Bunch of noise makers. And yet the biafran noisemakers here on nairaland are still paid their wages in naira, and transact in naira. I dare all biafran apologists to start doing the needful by tearing up their international passport, and owning a biafran passport, then stop filling "Nigerian" in the nationality column of forms. Loco people. |
