Politics › Re: Return ‘Arabic Ajami’ To Naira Notes – Muslim Group(MURIC) Urges Buhari! by Vado(m): 10:07am On Oct 03, 2015
This man was the former Vice Chancellor of Unilorin. He was like an elite in that university. Now if he could be so daft making such statements, despite being the voice of an influential muslim group, it shows you the mentality of a typical one. This was the same man that needlessly criticized the centenary #1000 note that it bear the star of David. I'm sure he has soft-spot for BH.

Rubbish. These same set of people will still vote for the Bukola Saratheif's if he runs for an elected office today and his annoited candidates four years from now.

That he's corrupt is an old news to Kwarans but every four-four years, they still manage to dance to his tunes. Ethno-Religious sentiments had them sticking to their Emirate son(s) regardless of how tainted such person or people are. I'm from Kwara but these daft people i share space with primitively sucks.

Any form of reduction of corruption either by selective trial, hypocracy, vendetta, witch hunt, politically motivated or personal interest is welcome as long as the person is guilty and judicial process is followed. We should all support any reduction in corruption possible.

Corruption is a greater national problem than any of selective trial, hypocracy, vendetta, witch hunt, politically motivated or personal interest.
Corruption destroy the nation with 170 million people. selective trial, hypocracy, vendetta, witch hunt, politically motivated or personal interest only affect few who are guilty. When you have 100 thieves, it is better to catch 5 thieves even if the remaining 95 go free than allowing the whole 100 thieves to go free.

When people shout about not trying Amaechi , fashola and tinubu as the basis to completely ignore other corrupt people, such call is not for the progress of Nigeria. Such call is not realistic. People making such calls are hypocrit, insincere and lovers of corruption.

" A leader who destroys those who are devoted to him does not inspire devotion". Buhari knows this. That is why he would not go after Amaechi, fashola or tinubu. That is why the bible told us despite all the attrocities of David, God still called David the man after his own heart. Because david is devoted to him. If God can do that, who is ordinary imperfect human being like Buhari to do otherwise. However should amaechi, fashola etc continue in thier old way, then Buhari can jail them. Saraki deserve to be jailed because he wants to continue in the old ways.

You can only forgive a repentant thief or someone who believe in your course. In the bible, two thieves were lucky to be crucified at the same time with Jesus Christ. Only one of them Identify with righteousness of Jesus Christ. It was only that one that Jesus forgave. Is Jesus christ unjust by doing that? Saraki is an unrepentant thief like the second thief who was crucified with Jesus who refuse to change his path from darkness to light.

We must all support Buhari in the fight against corruption. It is for our own good.

Somebody mentioned on another thread last night that only Borno and Yobe states were left to choose from in the ongoing batch b nysc registration. Both are suicidal choices to me as nobody in the right frame of mind would want either.
What then happens to those yet to register? Hope nysc still got some tricks to pull out of their sleeves, because it hasn't been up to a week since this reg meant to last a month started and pps are stuck already.
Politics › Re: Afonja .The Yoruba Traitor (Oyo Empire) by Vado(m): 9:40am On Sep 05, 2015
Ilorin is just a single town amidst several others. There are yoruba towns in Kwara-South whose descendants were from Oyo, Osun, and even Ekiti. These groups had nothing to do with the politics of Afonja and the Fulanis. People just ignorantly think Ilorin denote Kwara as a whole.
Even Kwara was initially called West Central state prior to 1967 for crying out loud. Gowon's intention to collapse some natural boudaries by creation of the first 12 states was merely warfare tactics. He daftly fused people of distinct features together without proper consultations to weaken regional influences and give the center more power.

Education › Re: See Snake That Was Killed This Afternoon At The Front Of AAUA SENATE BUILDING by Vado(m): 4:30pm On Sep 01, 2015
VeeBabs:
This is a Gaboon Viper, the heaviest member of the viperids, and also the snake with the longest fangs (2 inches long) and the highest venom yield in the world. That is, this snake delivers the highest volume of venom per bite of any snake in the world.

The snake is easy to recognise by the two small horns near its snout and by its unique markings/patterns (white dashed lines running along its back, similar to highway/street road lines) and unusually swollen "cheeks" on both sides of its head. Those "cheeks" are actually the extra-large salivary glands that produce the high amounts of venom the gaboon viper is known for. Really a mouthful.

A short but very heavy (dense) snake with a bad temper, you don't need to upset this snake before it strikes you. It attacks you with little provocation once you step within striking range. I've seen one before. Pure evil.

As for the severed head in the photos the OP originally posted above, I think I know exactly why they cut it off. Some people use freshly killed snake head AND tail for certain charms. Seriously. Ask around and you'll know. It appears to me from the photos that the snake is also missing a tiny bit of its tail, although it's not bleeding much.

So the next time you see someone rushing to decapitate a snake and also cut off its tail, you know what they PROBABLY have in mind.
Creepy as hell. *Shivers*

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: What Is The Hope For A 2.2 In The Labour Market by Vado(m):
Dude let no one intimidate you. 2.2 is not the best for sure, but neither is it the worst and you can't compare the value of a 2.2 in a place like Unilorin or UI with what obtains in IBB university. Go around all the top-notch federal universities and tell me how many students make 2.1. That target is not a walk in the park. My department boasted of only few 2.1 last year and it wasn't like the rest of the class were daft.

Politics › Re: Buhari embarrased Nigeria in America-PDP by Vado(m):
Buhari isn't really giving us much to sustain the believe in this administration tbh. It's been two months already, no SGF, no core sector ministers, the two legislative chambers are in disarray, BH are more ferocious than ever. The momentum that was used in the campaigns was like the excitment that comes with getting laid, only to get struck with an erectile dysfunctional peeny, when she takes it off. FG should quit napping.
