Politics › Re: What Was The Greatest Mistake of Pre or Post Independence History Of Nigeria? by Vado(op): 1:17pm On Mar 20, 2016
@gartamanta
Of course violence and unrests had been in the picture prior to that single event but it was never institutionalized and made norm in our political fabric as a nation until then per se. However, is violence the answer to violence? Has Nzeogwu been justified 50years later? If not, can we all then agree that our past leaders regardless of ethnic divide made significant mistakes that could have changed the course of history and the Nigeria story positively if caution and logic had prevailed?
What was the greatest blunder in your own opinion?
Politics › What Was The Greatest Mistake of Pre or Post Independence History Of Nigeria? by Vado(op):
I personally believe the January, 1966 coup led by Maj. Kaduna Nzeogwu was the greatest blunder we've had as a country. Its aftermath was the altercation of our political structures, needless cold-blooded murder of mostly top Northern leaders, ethnic distrusts that may never heal until Christ's second coming, chain reactions of reprisals, a precedent for successive military coups and the catalyst for the only civil war in Nigerian's history.

Nzeogwu's claim that the aim of the coup was to establish a strong and prosperous nation, free from corruption and internal strife. How so then was Eastern Nigeria exempted from this package of purification?

From the little i know, I loathe the guts of Sir, Ahmadu Bello who was more or less like a god in the North then and his extremism but just like Tafawa Balewa, Akintola, and Okoti-Eboh, these people didn't deserve the kind of fate they were met with. That single event has shattered the potential unity we could possibly have psychologically as a country.

Do you think their generations can ever be pacified?

So what is GEJ doing here? Trying to turn Nigeria to a wholly Christian country.?
Those are not Christians but Jews and Jonathan was never a Jew. A flag is way more symbolic than a plaque.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Dominican Religious Groups Want U.S. Ambassador Remove Over Gay Propagation by Vado(m): 6:29pm On Mar 19, 2016
He should endeavor to send a f.a.ggot to Saudi Arabia as an ambassador too. I recall when some Nigerians were busy buying aso ebi for Barrack "Hussein" Obama's inauguration as if he was messiah-like. That nigger has promoted homosexuality like no other US president in history, gave us political unrests in virtually all of North Africa and gifted us ISIS in Libya.

Indeed, he is the best since they discovered jollof rice's recipe. Rubbish.

Pls allow this commited administration to fight crime the way it can. After all, pdp was there for 16 years and instead, allowed corruption and indiscipline to flourish.
So in other word, we should do away with the laws of the land just to achieve our goals? Now, if all future administrations decides to be fighting corruption as they deem fit i.e, pdp, apc, apga etc; what kind of society are we going to have in say 30yrs? I believe if someone erred, he or she must be punished but if you feel the constitution should be send into the trashcan to achieve immediate results, then what is the meaning of JUSTICE? We can as well close down the legislative assemblies because it is a waste of time making laws for us and lawyers and judges can burn their cerficates because they are of no use to us as a nation. Mr. President is all-knowing & all-doing!

Tribalist! Even Dasuki is half Igbo and half Yoruba? Wetin concern Yoruba with criminal even if you are Yoruba. It is you folks that always defend criminals just because they are from your tribe, it doesn't matter to you if they have impoverished you through stealing, diversion and mismanagement of public funds while in office. Carry your tribalistic view away from here.
Has Dasuki the "alleged" record breaking thief been charged to court? He has! Did he ever appear ruffled and dehumanized by the security agents? No! There is no tribalism in the question that guy asked you brother. Let us be objective. A person is innocent until proven guilty and his fate can only be decided by the court of law. Unlawful detention and torture has no place in a democracy.

oga carry your wisdomless quotes away from here.was ibori not tried in one of these courts? The same court that will tell a looter who stole billions to pay thousand for bail! Have you forgotten when an accused will take drum and everything to court because he knows he will be bailed? Nigerian politiefcians needs iron hand and that's what they are getting.
So how many politicians on all levels from the coalition of the defunct ACN CPC & even former newPDP has this your iron hand been extended to? Bro, let us quit being sentimental & hypocritical. What is bad is bad. The law is the law. I want this country to work as well but if we are aspiring to be a working society like what in America & Europe, we must do things guided by democratic principles & the constitution.

Some Christians are like house-flies leeching off a glass of beer. They don't know what time it is until they drown in it. How can you be much of a dunce supporting a systematic persecution if your core religious values.

Ye blind f.cks can remain ignorant all you want thinking Islam is you friend when even the Qur'an explicitly stated that a Muslim shouldn't take a Jew or Christian as friend. No wonder my people historically has always been toast in the hands of the mohammedians. Lebanon, Constantinople (Turkey), Syria, Egypt, Assyrian, Christians in the northeast. Go and check their population in these regions in the past and what we have now.

Oh yeah, El rufai is helping you eliminate fake pastors indeed. Smh

Once this guy gets thrown behind bars, Kwarans can start rebuilding the state if they ever learn. The state needs a total rehab from the way she has been fleeced and battered by these cun.ts.

Na these hypocrite fckmen do Alfas, Imams, and pray pass. My yoruba people in kwara south has nothing in common with these emirate queers but Gowon wouldn't know that. He just merged everybody together as war strategy.

Christians with foresight know what these people are on about. We said Ese's case was an eye opener because the media brought it to light but they tried to play it down, saying it was a case of two wayward kids. Now there are several cases being exposed nationwide. Are all these still cases of waywardness or a systematic Jihad?
Argue with your father.
