BMC masturbating over Osun is tantamount to stupidity. If you won free and fair, why try to justify your "success".
My only pity is on people who chose their lives to be modulated eternally. Please go and work. I hope Tinubu will remember you guys.

People fought and died to institutionalize democracy in Nigeria. Some fools who know nothing about this come to the scene to cause chaos. Common Ghana is better organised than us to extent that we cannot conduct election just 7 pollong units.

My thoughts... we cannot learn. In the face of this brazen robbery, it is clear that Nigeria is not safe for 2019 general elections. What is the way out?

Is this not a clear invitation for military coup? The country is at risk now!

Anyway, I believe in divine intervention. It happened during Abacha era, so it is bound to repeat itself. It wont be long!

APC decided to bastardize the N100 notes just to spite GEJ and Christianity because the Islamic Inscription were not included on the N100 note.

Unfortunately, they are despicing the only currency bearing a Yoruba sage - Chief Obafemi Awolowo.

Have you ever wondered why? They see the Yorubas as nothing but a set of people (voters) to be used and abandoned.

Osun re-run - vote wisely!!

Lol... Let's assume the number of PVC's collected so far is truly 2584 and let's assume the turnout is 60% tomorrow. By my calculation, 60% of 2584 is 1550.4 which is approximately 1550. Let's then assume that with the support of Omisore, APC is able to secure 65% of 1550 votes which is 1007, that makes PDP's votes 543. Let's then add PDP's outstanding 353 votes to the 543, their votes would be 896. Now subtract 896 from 1007, then APC would lead with about 111 votes. All in all, I see APC winning the rerun tomorrow.!
Wishes! Dream on bro!!!

This is good. Let us see how INEC will record 1600 votes needed by APC out of estimated 1300 turnout expected.
Politics › Osun Rerun - A Walkover For PDP by Validated(op): 9:45am On Sep 26, 2018
Based on the PVC collected, only 2584 voters are expected to participate in the rerun election. Assuming 100% turn-out which has NEVER happened, PDP needs about 1120 votes to win. APC has a bigger task on this. The odd gets slimmer where about 80% turn is recorded, which is even higher than the main election of less than 60% turnout.

Moreover, with allegation of deductions of 1000 votes in Ayedaade and inflation at Oshogbo being pursued by PDP, APC may as well kiss Osun goodbye!

PDP should mobilise men and resources and be highly vigilant on this one. While APC are romancing Omisore, PDP should strive to half votes in Oshogbo and Ife Polling units by direct contacts with voters. Tell electorates that Omisore has sold them to APC to become minister without consulting them in the first place. Then win Orolu Polls as they did earlier. Details below is unverified PVC collected by polling units. If turn-out exceed 60%, PDP should demand explanations from INEC!!!

I tell you. If I am an electorate and am being told to vote a party that Omisore told me last week was not good, but today has turned back to support in order to be made a minister, my family and I will revolt.

I foresee a backlash on this APC/Omisore romance. Yorubas are not almjiris that follow one malam's instruction, especially on election!

They will perfectly play into APC hands and it will be another good morning.

What do you expect APC led federal government to dohuh After obtaining restraining order from a competent court of jurisdiction from going on with the rerun Election. PDP were rulling party before, how come they have forgotten how to win. It's becoming increasingly difficult for PDP to triumph.

But wait oooooooo we thought APC are the children of PDP, yes, but APC eventually got refined and better on what they do and of course PDP is shocked to their marrows.

Advice for PDP: stop the court proceedings and fight to the last. Go on participate in the process and see what happens. It will be difficult anyway for PDP to win osun state. The best they could do was what you witnessed.
Must you create a topic? What is the sense in your reasoning here?

Do you understand the meaning of restraining order? Please, google it!

How exactly has Ambode performed well in Lagoshuh

Lagos is worse off than what Fashola handed over to Ambode.

Those screaming "Ambode, Ambode" should tell us exactly why he should be allowed to continue in office.

Lagos is now a massive refuse heap, bad roads everywhere, incomplete projects here and there and okada riders have taken over the state.

Fashola's Lagos was much better than this.
Your testimony makes APC a massive failure, both at Centre and all APC controlled State.

Can you tell me of any APC governor better than Ambode? Why are they being given the second term ticket?

Anyway, I do not support APC or Ambode. All I have said is that APC and Tinubu are only grandstanding on Ambode's second term ticket.

Tinubu does not have the political balls not to give Ambode the second term ticket. If he does, I will apologise to all BMC.

The PVC card is there to take care of that. Without biometrics the PVC is invalid.

And if the Number of voters is more than those verified by the PVC reader then they will cancel it again.

So what's all this fuss for...
Question is do you have the number of PVCs actually collected? Does it tally with the registered voters INEC have been calling, basis which the rerun is called for? Note that even if you have 3480 voters registered, only the PVC collected can be presented for election. So, what is this number? It is important PDP have this handy, otherwise, APC and INEC would pull a fast one on the by conjuring figures that do not represent number of PVC collected.

Politics › Osun Election:why INEC Must Clarify On PVC Collected In Affected Polling Units by Validated(op): 6:52am On Sep 26, 2018
The Osun governorship election rerun scheduled for Thursday may be marred by further irregularities and frauds, if PDP is not extra vigilant.

As a matter of urgency, the PDP should demand that the total PVC collected in the affected polling units prior to the September 21 Governorship elections be re-validated and publicized before hand. Going by report on Social Media, not up to 800 PVCs were collected in the 7 affected polling units. Also, efforts should be geared up to ensure that the accredited voters of about 473 recorded on September 21, 2018 is revalidated on and after elections. This can be done by forensic examination of new voters biometrics to the authentic card holder;s biometrics, if need be for a court or tribunal review..

It would be noted that all along, INEC have been harping on list of registered voters. The latter which is about 3840 is IRRELEVANT. What is relevant is the numbers of PVCs actually collected prior to September 21, 2018! PDP should demand that INEC provide all stakeholders the full list by polling unit of actual PVCs for the rerun, even as it pursues the court case to stop the illegal reruns.

My simple submission.

This will result to court cases. The National convention was conducted through Indirect election, npw they have Direct in some states and Indirect in others. Any aggrieved individual should go to court to scatter everything ... jare!

Ambode is already a stooge. Argue with ur ancestors. My point remains. APC and Tinubu CANNOT substitute Ambode for anyone else. Even Tinubu himself cannit wun Lagos as a candidate. Only Ambode can save AOC in Lagos and they know it.
Politics › Ambode: Much Ado About Nothing! Tinubu Cannot Stop Ambode!!! by Validated(op):
I am amused by the political intrigues going on in Lagos, especially the seeming shenanigans as being reported reported on social media. "All na wash" or as Fela of blessed memory would say, "all na shakara". It is just a normal APC ploy to deflect discourse from the real issues and threats. So, I sympathise with our unlearned youths snd social media pundits who have been writing and predicting several scenarios in Lagos APC primaries outcome towards 2019.
Just to school all you. The facts on ground are these:
1. APC and Tinubu CANNOT toy with Lagos State in 2019 elections. Lagos with the highest registered votes will be very critical to APC in 2019 and noone wants to rock the boat.
2. Lagos is critical to Asiwaju's political relevance, both in SW and Nigeria. No sane person toys with his prizest possession, except there is alternative. For now Tinubu has only Lagos. Others are poor states struggling to pay salaries.
3. Ambode is the ONLY candidate that can guarantee a win for APC in Lagos. Forget the Sanwo-olu and Hamzat guys. They are just sttooges planted to create diversion or "red herring".
4. APC ticket will be given to Ambide, whether by direct or indirect primaries. This is already settled and all of Tinubu, Buhari, Osinbajo and even Ambode know this. The Samwo-olu guy also know this.
So, why all the shakara and media hype you may ask? Answer is simple.
a. To whip up public sentiments and create a support base for Ambode's re-election. As it is today, many Lagosians will "celebrate" a win at the primaries for Ambode.
b. Consolidate on milking Lagos by a few cabal. Lagos of today is earning close to N50B monthly. Leave what is being reported aside, we know the truth. About 20% of that sum or approx N10billion is shared by the cabal holding Lagos to ransom. Noone can toy with such.
c. To whittle down the likely impact of an Otedola governorship aspiration under PDP platform. This is actually the real threat that Tinubu is fighting against.
d. To create platform for the likes of Aregbesola, who is leaving Osun to have a stake in the Lagos State huge IGR. Aregbe is said to be the leader of the mandate group or whatever they are called.
e. Turn Ambode to the true puppet they actually desired. Otherwise, Ambode could upstage Tinubu in his second term.

Finally, I am willing to do a bet with anyone. This is the challenge. If Tinubu and his mandate group are brave enough to give the ticket to any other candidate other than Ambode, I will come to this forum to apologise to APC and all NL for this write-up.

SO ALL NA SHAKARA!
