kcjazz: Why can't Christians learn to live as one? Why do we like to compare stuff, my church is better than yours nonsense! In this country a Rev Fr. uses military escorts, owns two universities, one polytechnic, businesses and industries + real estates. Just because he is not on Forbes does not make him a poor man. He is not humble either. Does God care that Mr A rides a train while Mr B flies OR is it about how much they are doing to make humanity better. Let us get our priorities right abeg.
Pope Francis has a lot to do and please don't distract him with this nonsense. You are a big fool. No catholic priest owns any university in Nigeria, the schools you are talking about belongs to the Holy Ghost order. go and do your research well eediot. |

dafnna: in 2015, northerners will be desperate to pull back power to their region. The opposition can never win the forth coming elections against PDP without the support of the north. Let us not deceive ourselves. Jonathan is clearly not capable of translating Nigeria to the next level. His presence in Aso-rock shows the poor state of our electoral process. As a nigerian-canadian, i am baffled on how he got there and mindset of our people who voted for him, because i learnt the election was on average a bit free and fair. APC, i will advice you nominate a Marwa OR Ribadu for president and fashola OR pat utomi for vice-president. PDP is the devil's tool against Nigeria, i speak from a spiritual angle. my most preferred choice is Marwa/ fashola ticket. These two have performances above AVERAGE as governors of the most complex state (LAGOS). A muslim-muslim ticket is not the issue now. Nigeria must move forward by getting rid of PDP. I miss my country badly.I love you guys. The only person from the North that can give GEJ a tough fight is Buhari, all these other people you are mentioning cannot win even 15% of the votes. Jonathan is already translating Nigeria to the next level, by the time you start having complete steady power supply in the next few months, I bet you 80% of people who are against Gej will change their mind, besides, that you can vote today and defend your is because of this same man. |

Have you been to Imo State before... Perhaps you don,t know that Rochas is the most prudent of all the people you mentioned. Omo_Tier1: With all seriousness, when it comes to development, you cannot place Rochas, Fashola and Oshiomhole on the same line. Perhaps after spending four years at governor of IMO state, then we can begin to talk about Him moving to the Centre.
Clearly, when it comes to prudential management, wealth creation, personnel development and human capacity building, infrastructural development, Rochas is yet to demonstrate much experience and if Nigeria is ever going to move forward, individuals who have demonstrated their capacity in these regard should be elected to President. No doubt, any sincere individual who attest to the fact that Fashola and Oshiomhole have demonstrated thus.
The mission to rescue Nigeria come 2015 is not about ethnicity, rather about having the best hands with proven positive experiences of good governance with developmental strides as her hallmark to be elected as President. Rochas in my opinion is not ripe to be elected into that position and should be encouraged to continue on the good course He has began in Imo state. I think it would do him more good if He stays that course because by the time He is done serving two terms in Imo state, He will amongst the experienced governors who will rightly be seen by Nigerianscas good for Presidency, provided He continues on the good path of infrastructural development Imo is already beginning to witness under His reign.
I know you want an Igbo man to be president, perhaps an Igbo woman, however, you need to ask yourself, which persons of Igbo extraction has the clout to win at least 4states in every region of the country in order to become president, possibly none at the moment.
As for the bolder in my post, it is a no brainner that Fashola and Oshiomhole have in their first term faced several complexities, whether political, economical in governance and were able to manage it and did so courageously.
I can't think of any Rochas has faced since becoming a governor perhaps you can give me some examples. |

How old are you ndu_chucks: There is no reason to believe that, if he runs, Buhari will lose the states he won during the last election. I submit to you that, as the APC candidate, he will win Edo, most of the SW states, and one or two more states in the SE, in addition to the ones he won in the North during the last election. GEJ or anyone else will be defeated by such showing.
No? |

Politics › Re: North Shops For Vice-Presidential Candidate by vanunu: 5:03pm On Mar 10, 2013 |
are you a big fool__ Omo_Tier1: Wining ticket : Buhari and Oshiomhole, Fashola for Senate President. Rochester needs to remain in IMO State for another 6years minimum and turn IMO State into the pride of South East before He can take shot at the Presidency.
Right now we need a team that can crush corruption, restore security and pursue aggressive development. I really do not care where the individuals are from but never again should Nigeria end up with a mediocre as a president!
If Buhari decides not the run, then Oshiomhole would be my first choice for the Presidency and I would Fashola for me should be Senate President. It is so sad for the first time for so long as I can remember, I can't think of any South Easterner who really possess the accuse to be a Vice President nor President. Look at Ayim, even as the SFG, there is nothing one can speak well of about his reign.
