PoliticsRe: 2015: Merger Parties Pick Buhari by vanunu: 8:40am On May 05, 2013

djon78: if we sincerely want change in this country, people like fashola, oshiomole, akpabio who are the best performing governors should be those to be choosen by their respective parties as flagbearers, not people that will set us back or play ethnic/religious card.

Politics87-year Old Ex-minister Ali Monguno, Kidnapped by vanunu(op): 4:29pm On May 03, 2013
Former Nigerian minister, Shettima Ali Monguno, has been kidnapped in troubled Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.

Monguno, 87, was kidnapped by gunmen as he left the mosque after Jumat prayers on Friday, in the Mafoni Ward area of the city.

Monguno is a vocal and influential politician and educationist.

According to reports on AIT, the sect said all their members in state and Federal custody should be released before Monguno would be released.

The Joint Military Task Force keeping peace in the region had warned earlier in the week that the extremist Boko Haram sect had plans to embark on kidnappings for ransom.

It is strange that while Innoson is breaking into West African market, some states have refused to even by a single bus from him, my brothers is this not madness?
PoliticsRe: Lagos State Bus Production Plant In Epe. by vanunu: 6:12pm On Apr 30, 2013
There is a company in the south east that is manufacturing buses for city transportation and this company is privatel owned what stops Fashola from patronizing this company, this is very serious.
PoliticsRe: Lagos State Bus Production Plant In Epe. by vanunu: 6:08pm On Apr 30, 2013
I don't support state or federal government diving into car manufacturing due to past experiences, Fashola should instead invest in infrastructure, that is what government all over the world do, what is the point establishing a factory that will collapse immediately you leave office.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria African Regional Giant. by vanunu: 4:06pm On Apr 12, 2013
From the unfolding events, one can now see that Buhari, Tinubu and APC has no solution to the Boko Haram crisis.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria African Regional Giant. by vanunu: 4:02pm On Apr 12, 2013
It is not GEJ that was disgraced, but the opposition politicians and northern elders, GEJ knew quite well that boko haram will never accept amnesty because they are real islamist, even the day that the northern elders came calling, GEJ asked them whether any of them had contact with the jihadist, but the answer was no. The issue is that the opposition and the N elders wanted to blackmail GEJ and GEJ did the right thing by playing along with them simple. This is Nigerian politics and only matured minds will understand.
PoliticsRe: Military Chiefs Angry With Boko-Haram Amnesty by vanunu: 5:12pm On Apr 07, 2013
Those that killed Igbos In Jos in 1945 were granted amnesty, those that killed them in kano in 1954 were also granted amnesty and those that killed over 70,000 in Igbos in 1966 in the North were also granted amnesty. Gej knows quite well that amnesty will not stop the violence, I don't think he is a fool.

Jokes EtcRe: Jonathan Grants Amnesty to Boko Haram by vanunu: 11:18am On Apr 05, 2013
If boko haram accepts amnesty, that means that some big men have being sponsoring them, because real jihadists be it in kabul, waziristan, ilsamabad don't negotiate with infidels.
PoliticsRe: Boko-Haram Amnesty; Jonathan Betrayed Igbos? by vanunu: 11:00am On Apr 05, 2013
The funny thing is that the boko people never asked for any amnesty, so how can it work, I believe that GEJ knows quite well that it will not work

PoliticsRe: GEJ Should Be Impeached - LA Times Joel Brinkley by vanunu: 11:45pm On Mar 25, 2013
sweet_gala: GEJ has tried enough and unfortunately has drawn more anger and resentment than any President ever. When a man lifts a load not sanctioned by God it ends in shame and that is the story with GEJ.

He is not necessarily worse but has been both mediocre and hasn't done better. He is weak and entangled in corruption, his wife is a illiterate (just can't help that feeling) a PhD holder in an anglophone country should have a better control of the English language no excuses.

Is only crime is promising much but changing nothing. If not for the presence of okonjo and Sanusi he'll be a complete failure
You are a big fool, what concerns you with his wife, You must unemployable.
PoliticsRe: GEJ Should Be Impeached - LA Times Joel Brinkley by vanunu: 11:34pm On Mar 25, 2013
vicope: I'm with you on this! I also campaigned against him and did not vote for him in 2011. I proudly voted for Buhari. Just last two weeks ago during the area council elections in FCT, a friend of mine who is 35 years old, a university graduate and still unemployed hitherto, voted for PDP candidate in Bwari Area Council after been bribed with #1,000. I couldn't but marvel at the hopelessness of Nigerians!
My friend more schools * nine new federal universities plus alimajeri schs here and there) are being built, more fg roads are being reconstructed, our railways are now working, power is now almost stable, more health centers and hospitals are being built, our airports are now very very beautiful and clean.
We now have very peaceful and free and fair elections here and there, no more fuel scarcity, subsidy thieves are being jailed, even children of big men. If you are not seeing these things, that means something is really wrong with you.
PoliticsRe: GEJ Should Be Impeached - LA Times Joel Brinkley by vanunu: 11:20pm On Mar 25, 2013
You have derailed. Nobody is talking of the no of years GEJ has ruled. The issue is that GEJ is equally bad. He is as corrupt as the Alams he pardoned. In fact he had a share in Alams loot. Mark my words, GOD WILL EXPOSE HIM SOON. The whole truth will come out one day. Nobody can bury TRUTH. Can you bury God? God is Truth. What we are experiencing now is you spreading LIES, like a red carpet, for the ultimate TRUTH to show up. God's ways are different from our ways.

When God shows up, everybody good and bad becomes a vessel. The good = vessels unto honour; the bad = vessels unto dishonour all work together to bring down the good we prayed God to rein down in Nigeria. Oh yes, God moves in a mysterious way.
GEJ and boys, cook up more lies and keep defending evil. God made Pharoah very stubborn so He can destroy him. For me, I will not waste my time trying to make you people see reason, just like Pharoah, you are not meant to see reason.

why do you hate GEJ so much and at the same time mentioning God. Please my friend say something that you are sure of..
