Ihedinobi3:No one is having a personal issues with you but with your way of reasoning, i earlier made mention that islam will be put into extinction towards the judgements day according to the prophet himself. and this means there will be no purpose to conquer the world if this is expected. This is my claim that you are trying to Conner with a lot of faulty excuses. Oga, you said that I quoted you out of context. I did not quote you at all. I only summarized what you said. If you insist that I did, show me where I quoted you.You are arguing without having in mind what you are practically doing.for you to be able to summarize what i said at all, you have to quote me first. But I have seen no contests from you of the verses I quoted. Only a bogus claim that I quoted them out of context and failed to account for their historical background.keep in mind i am not an apologetic of islam, what you did up there was quoting a random verses that suit your agenda. which i claim was pull out of context. i have earlier given you a factual demonstration of islam and his prophet in his infancy. and this alone should serve as a watchguide to you. And this is the non-Muslim apologist talking?and this idea of labelling is what i am trying to avoid. which was the reasons i actually took the historical part instead of quoting counter verse. Regardless, I was not arguing that Muslims shouldn't share Islam with the rest of the world. I gave Islam as an example of a religion that seeks to subvert nations to itself. That is my argument. And I don't see any reason from you yet to believe that that is untrue.just like i already indicated, it is not true and if it is the case, the Islamic divine agenda will be supported today in both official and non official muslim state. If you are saying that certain parts of the Qur'an have become irrelevant over time, why should anyone believe that? In the Bible, the Law of Moses governed the way believers believed in Israel until Jesus Christ came and died for sin. Because of the way that His Sacrifice would change everything, Moses himself told the Israelites well ahead of time that when Jesus came, He was the One that they would listen to.This is not in any part of my claim, my mission here is simply to demonstrate how fauilty is your argument in regards to the idea that islam was meant to subvert the world, i have pointed out historical fact as to back up this assertion and at the same time, i have given a modern evidence to suggest it is not true. After that, more and more prophecies were given to prepare them for the changes that the First Advent would bring. This is irrelevant since i am not asking for it. your apologetic style is well taken, it is about how the market force appeal to you rather than to real critics or skeptics. Why does the Qur'an not indicate that any part of it would become irrelevant at any point in history so that you can say what you say now? Or does it?The Quran definitely gives license to anachronistic beliefs and practices in Islam. Sharia law sometimes takes this license and runs with it, going beyond what the Quran seems to intend. UAE and saudi arabia modernization is a typical example. |
Ihedinobi3:Look at the logic you apply here just to force out what is not really an islamic goal. ( this in itself is a radical approach)when quran repeat its goal in a number of times that its main aim is for each Muslim to attain satisfaction and approval from ALLAH(the name of Muslims god ).i am sure you couldn't find any verse about that to quote since it is opposite of your labelling. islamophobia i did not quote you at all. I just summarized what you said. If you believe that my summary was wrong, you should explain to me why it is.You quoted me, if not, i will not be replying you. your summary of my write up there is faulty, my simply claim here is, no explicit or uncontested verses of Quran that indicates muslim mission is to conquer the world.. it is normal, Muslims love Islam just like Christian love Christianity , so naturally they’d love to share it with the whole world. They’re happy whenever someone overcomes the immense negative image of Islam, discovers its beauty and joins the worldwide family of nearly 1,8 Billion Muslims. Vaxx, I am here. I am talking with you. I am giving what I believe you demand. If anything is not as it should be, you do have a part to play. What is the historical context that I am ignoring? If you know this better than me, then you should clear it up. I have tried to be clear and up-front with everything we are discussing. And that is what i am telling you, you can't quote a verse without understanding the historical context that links to it. every verses of the quran wasn't sent at once, the verses were sent base on event and cause. so for you to treat a particular text literarilly, You have to understand the historical connection that leads to the verse. As for context, I wanted to post the whole Surah but there is an anti-spam bot on the website that tags posts that copy long articles. I didn't want to take the risk of a ban to post the whole Surah (more than 60 verses).for if this understanding of yours were true as far as islam/quran is concern, then the current state of the propagation of islam should have proof it. no widely recognized majority Muslim government either officially or unofficially, currently advocates for the spread of Islam via militaristic means. The Islamic State and its close affiliates like boko haram, which are obviously loathed within the Muslim world, almost as much as they are outside of it, are regarded by nearly all Islamic scholars as heretical in their views and practices regarding the propagation of Islam, and also are obviously at the danger of collapsing. Certainly within Islam there remain the radical missionary minded individuals just like that of Christianity who continue to imagine that their respective religions will each somehow one day “conquer” the world. Still, in practical terms, most Muslims remain both unsure if this might ever happen, and certainly would not support its accomplishment. |
Explorers:This is touching |
Ihedinobi3:i earlier indicate those point as signs islam says we be the signs of the last day. one of the prophesy of islam by muhammed himself is islam will go into extinction. .according to the saying, allah will send a special wind that will take the souls of all the believers in one go, so that they wouldn’t have to witness that difficult day. Your first defense was that I shouldn't judge Islam by the actions of some Muslims. Now, you are telling me to judge it by the actions of other MuslimsYou are not doing any justice by quoting me out of context. you may need to go back and read What i post again . But what I told you is that my claim was made, not on the back of the actions or lack thereof of Muslims of any hue or shade, but on the back of the teachings of the Qur'an.And i said your claim so far is inconsequential as far as islam is concern. you took random verses out of context and jump into conclustion. A very bad approach to intellectual reasoning. Using those types of verses without context would be like saying that the United States is a racist/genocidal country because they bombed Japan in 1945, killing 250,000 people. The statement that they bombed Japan is true, but there's a whole context (a preceding global war that lasted 6 years) that it needs to be considered in the context of. If I have been wrong about the teachings I quoted, for example, if the verses were wrongly interpreted, then, you would be better served to offer a counter-interpretation and validate it.The verses you quoted were random without understanding of islamic history. verses according to quran follow event and cause. it is like me quoting a biblical verses without doing thorough exegesis of it and holding it as vital true. thst is delibrate ignorance It is useless to argue that I took a random interpretation and went to town with it. Should I post the Arabic instead? You will probably be the only one to understand it. What good would that do?it serve no any useful purpose to attack the idea you knew nothing about. all those verses you quoted are used out of context and that is the simple truth. both quran and bible has the same issue. |
Ihedinobi3:it simply demonsrate that the idea of conquering the whole world is meaningless and purposeleas since islam will soon go into extinctions toward the last days. [1][This is a declaration of] disassociation, from Allah and His Messenger, to those with whom you had made a treaty among the polytheists.this is why Muslim accused you guys of misinformed or inadequate knowledge. you went straight online to draw random interpretation of quran text without understanding what quran and islam stands for. i am not an islamic apologetic, so i will not go with details of those verses. but i will enlight you on on the context of those verses as regard to islamic history. Islam has through time tolerate many non muslim.. After all Mohammed became a prophet at a time and place where there was a great deal of other religions. Not only was Judaism and Christianity already thriving, but in Saudi-Arabia where he did his teachings a lot of minor religions was thriving (The time of Ignorance or Uninlightenment, if my English serves me well.) So throughout his life he has to answer to comments and questioning of his preachings. This led to an Islam that was able to take criticism (which they have endured much of and still do), but also made it into a religion that was able to tolerate the religions around it. Throughout history Muslims have led peacefully beside other religions (obviously some mishaps here and there). They have generally always been able to accept other religions, even if we take examples like the Ottoman Empire that lasted hundreds of years and had numerous religions under its wing, even though the primary governing body was Islamic and during some of the time even under Sharia law, they still managed to respect all their colonies religious freedoms. As i said , you are obviously ignorant of Islamic teaching and it will be good if you seek knolwedge of it before debating it. |
Ihedinobi3:That is what hadith and quran indicate, kaaba in mecca (the house of worship will be destroy, new born baby will grow and walk and so on . it is a sign of the last day. mind you i dont subscribed to it. but i am abreast with islamic teaching. PS. My argument was not about the behavior or actions of Muslims but about Islam itself as a religion. That is, it was the Qur'anic position that I was addressing. Perhaps the statement I asked you to clarify will help to establish the truth or falsity of my claim.obviously you aren't abreast with Islamic teaching, and it is improper to brand islam with such attribute. it is better you address only what you know. |
Ihedinobi3:i don't think your normal every day Muslim wants to conquer the world, but there are certainly some religious extremists with expansion objectives. I wouldn't attribute that statement to all Muslims. That's called Islamaphobia. You are labeling or negative stereotyping a whole group of people in a prejudicial way. Extremist groups have existed in most societies from the Christian, Judaic, Hindu to Islamic. They have relegious and/or political agendas. Extremism is always about power. However, an extensive research into islam in the quran suggest that Islam will eventually extinct from the world and after that the day of judgment will happen. Therefore, Islam conquering the world is not a belief that a muslim helds. Whoever holds such beliefs is essentially going beyond Islamic doctrines and are particularly extremist. |
Ihedinobi3:The part i quoted , especially on islam. |
Ihedinobi3:can you be clear on this point.? |

hopefulLandlord:Then you are personally biased on the subject then. maybe too much Hollywood is the reasons. Africa is NOT "catching up fast" with the west. not even close. Africa is in reality falling behind the more and the signs are that She'll continue to fall behind. Its easy to mention "Mobile Money" and "Mensah" but if you're honest with yourself and list the technologies developed and are being developed by western/eastern people or in the western/eastern world it would make that of Africans totally insignificant. To answer this on a more deeper level, some African countries are better in some departments than their western counterparts. Case in point is the banking infrastructure of South Africa, versus that of England. In my view, the banking infrastructure in South Africa is much better than in England, and I base my experience on London. Which I assume would have the best banking infrastructure in England, probably even better than most European countries. Even most of these fee "technologies" developed by "Africans" are done outside it by Africans who mingled with the "whites" case in point is Mensah who at a young age mingled with the French, spoke their language, learnt it due to his father's business connection with the French. Got a PHd from university of Montpellier in France and took a course at MIT.ideas and initiative can be gotten from anywhere. what is most important, it is the uses and deployment. many african elites that study abroad came and implement their knolwedge back home (This case can be seen in nigeria) so many innovative idea you see on the street of lagos was adopted abroad. though not enough but it is commendable. there was a time american (Obama) was discussing on how to adopt German education system. it is proven to be much rigourous to theirs. nothing stop anybody from adopting or learning what is good from one another. mensah had his first degree in Ghana local university. that was his gateway to any further education he received abroad. if this wasn't sound enough, he will not have climb that ladder he is presently.. 99.99999% of Africans can never have this opportunity in their lifetime even if they have bigger talent and ideas. there's no enabling environment. Africans school and get shitty education with ancient curriculum by old peoole. Africans focus on survival first and everything else comes laterThis to some extent i agree, NO much enabling enviroment, and in particular, education is not much of our priority. but some African country are doing well and deserve some accolade. The Europeans and developed world in general need a source of material and might be sabotaging Africa. because africa will be an Industrialized competitor if developed. Meanwhile, the Asian Tigers passed Africa by and may soon surpass the European countries. Africa will develop after learning from the Asians what the Europeans didn't want Africa to learn . |
Just30:Government claim to be losing about 30 billions of dollars annally thru gold smuggle. Are you sure menzgold is not encouraging this lost by buying from local market. |
PROVERBZ:That is the problem that comes with urbanization. . The sanitation problem is not limited to Accra alone, lagos is another example. These days west africa sub region produces more than 110% more refuse in domestic and from manufacturing than she did 40 years ago.And a lot of it needs immediate and special treatment to prevent hazards. there is need for comprehensive plan for the whole region enacted.Cleaning up just Ghana alone is like a Homeowner who cleans up his front Varender and garden but refuses to clean up the bedrooms, kitchen,Hall, dining area and bathrooms. |
Earthbound:lolllll, don't you think he shouild have used that genius positively. |

John Ackah Blay-Miezah is one of Ghana’s most popular exports of all time and a man who proved to the world that the blackman wasn’t a human monkey but a human with brains and indeed, enough of it to outwit the supposedly superior white counterpart. Blay-Miezah would forever remain in the history books of the US, Philadelphia especially in their list of villains and go down as one of the most cunning men to grace the face of this earth. This is the story Blay-Miezah got the world to buy, according to him, he was the sole beneficiary of gold reserve amounting to billions of dollars Nkrumah stored in banks in Switzerland and Liechtenstein in an account named: Oman Ghana Trust Fund. His evidence to this fund was an account number and a manufactured document purportedly from Union Bank of Switzerland. To access this money, estimated to be over 40 billion, Blay-Miezah needed a specially serialized diplomatic passport which would come at a huge cost and money to pay off some chiefs in Ghana who held various interests in the money, Gold in this case. To do this, he needed money, Blay-Miezah sold to people, starting from Philadelphia a 1000 to 5000% interest on investment for anyone who supported the initiative. Yes, people bought a scheme with a profit margin of 50 to 1. For those at loggerheads with ratio, bring 1000 Ghana Cedis and receive 50,000 Cedis. Over three hundred people in Philadelphia alone bought into the idea and contributed over 18 million dollars in cash, across America, Blay Miezah, with the help of his right-hand man, Ellis succeeded in defrauding people in hundreds of millions of dollars. Truth is, Ellis, the accomplice of believed the scam too. Blay-Miezah won over highly educated Americans including judges. Back in Ghana, 1975, Blay-Miezah manages to get Acheampong’s government salivating over the prospect of landing 47 billion in Swiss Banks, he succeeded in conning the government into the scheme. Secretary to the government at the time, Mr Ebenezar M Debrah who was a former Ghana Ambassador to the US pointed out that Blay-Miezah was a conman with a bad reputation in the US. This was a battle even the secretary to the government wasn’t going to win, so convincing was Blay¬-Miezah that a powerful government official, one of Acheampong’s trusted lieutenant was pushed out of the government altogether because he was seen as an enemy of progress. Acheampong’s government gave Blay-Miezah a Diplomatic Passport. He then relocated to spread his tentacles in Europe and succeeded in bringing more people into the scheme. Wanted in America, he could not be extradited from Europe for prosecution in US because he was a diplomat and hence benefited from immunity. In 1979, he availed himself to contest the presidential seat in Ghana but was disqualified even though he had a good number following him. His main message was to get the power and use the power to retrieve our cash detained in Europe. When the PNDC took over from Liman through the coup, he managed to get the government embroiled in the scheme and had his Diplomatic Passport renewed on the promise of raising 15 billion for the government. In fact, he travelled to Cayman Island with Captain Kojo Tsikata, in Charge of Security under PNDC and Dr Kwesi Botchway who was in charge of finance. They returned empty-handed, embarrassed and the result is at the conclusion of this post. He is rumoured to have succeeded in defrauding people to the tune of billions of dollars. A classy man who wowed the people he encountered with his breath-taking oratory prowess, Blay-Miezah knew how to entertain his victims in expensive hotels and joints and treated them to drinks that were the preserve of the very affluent. As it is said, there is nothing entirely evil, even the mosquito makes us tidy our environment. At the time when Blay-Miezah made a fool out of the whites, blacks were considered just the next step after animals with lower thinking capacity compared to the whites. In view of this, when one black succeeded in swindling thousands of whites of reputation, many white folks began to question their orientation. He proved a point for Africans, albeit in an unpopular way. Nigerians adopted Blay-Miezah’s approach, commercialised and patented it as 419. So convincing was Blay-Miezah that even his family believed him and fought among themselves as to who’d take his place and actualise his vision to land the money after he died. They were willing to chase what was really a mirage at the peril of their lives because they believed the scam. They tried the pulse of both the Kufour and Mills’ government but with the past history, each government wanted to avoid being embarrassed and soiling their international reputation. CBS produced a documentary on him and described him as the world’s greatest conman. Blay-Miezah would have none of that, he took them on legally and won the case. CBS had to compensate him financially. With this global popularity, Blay-Miezah was positioned to lure more people. Talk about a way to turn lemons thrown at you into lemonade. Despite his soil reputation globally, he still associated with high profile personalities across the globe. The former Attorney General of the United States of America, John Mitchell visited him twice in Ghana with little care of how it was going to affect his reputation Dr. John Ackah Blay-Miezah, a.k.a Nana Ackah Nyanzu II a.k.a Liina Disca of Allengenzule, Western Region, Republic of Ghana died in 1992 while under house arrest for deceiving and embarrassing the PNDC government. http://ghbase.com/

Just30:Does he worth billions of dollars, in cash and asset and there is a rummor that he was arrested in Dubai |
Just30:Then the money he is receiving from depositors are illegal. that is why government said it is not accountable for about 1.8 million customers cash hook up with menzgold. now thst is gold vault market has been closed. will he return customers dividends and cash. |
tylann:it is much more political than technical. New sources of income breed new constituencies, since economic power can easily translate into political power. so oil producing nations are always at cross road. what to diversify, where to start from etc |
Just30:Then that is unlicensed operation. it does not have the license to trade in gold collectibles from the public |
Just30:hummm and if that is the case, why are they not regulate by bank of Ghana. which part of ghana is Menzgold buying their gold from to be paying 10% per monthly. it seems too good to be true . is it not a virtual gold? |
Just30:what investment are they using depositors funds to do. |
