ProgrammingRe: Pls Help A Newbie by venorite(op): 1:48pm On Oct 21, 2012
GideonG: @venorite Let me give you the best of advise on what you need in programming.

The single most important thing you need is the passion and determination
that comes with the burning desire to learn and progress.
Once you have that extreme passion, you will be a very good programmer
in a short period of time, and all other tools will naturally come your way
in order to succeed.

Programming is fun, programming is very sweet. There is absolutely nothing
that interest me like programming.
thanks bro,am so grateful....have always wanted to be a programmer, thats my passion.pls where are you located cos i wont mind someone giving me a walkthrough.

am so grateful for your response.pls as a newbie, what to i need apart from a computer for starters.
GideonG: The best advise I will give you is to save your money and study on your own!
start with HTML then CSS then Python or PHP (choose one).

Don't waste your money in any NIIT like institute. go to Youtube there are
better and up to date training videos you can download for free!

you can start from www.w3schools.com
www.homeandlearn.co.uk

I wish you the best.

There is absolutely nothing as sweet as programming!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FamilyRe: Is Marriage An Achievement? by venorite(m): 1:01pm On Oct 12, 2012
Emmaville: my dear, life is a personal fin. there is no yardstick for marriage age or anitin. inshort there are no parameters for achievements, marriage, success, money, or being made. its al a personal fin. wat eva u call achievement is a personal fin. so life is totally subjective, depending on your frame of reference. so its an achievement for some. while d criteria u re trying to put b4 it, is immaterial. moreover, wat is d tin dey re suposed to achieve dat u re stressing abt? wat abt dose dat hav achieved dis ur yardstick dat re nt yet married? wat do u hav to say abt dem? for instance 2_face is not married, does dat mean dat he has nt achieved? #thumbsup

pendusky: Before the good news. Much thanks to Nler who pray for 1st lady on this thread

the good news!
A presidential jet is scheduled to fly out of Abuja tonight to bring home Nigeria's ailing First Lady, Mrs. Patience Jonathan. Presidency sources told SaharaReporters today that Mrs. Jonathan will return to the country as early as tomorrow if everything works as planned. Mrs. Jonathan was secretly flown out of Abuja nearly six weeks ago, at the end of August, after she developed complications from a cosmetic procedure she had undertaken in Dubai. Upon returning to Nigeria from Dubai,
she was flown out to Germany in an air ambulance following an
emergency which was initially
diagnosed as "food poisoning."
Several investigations by SaharaReporters however revealed that her medical condition was more
complicated and precarious. Among others, in the early stages she lost her power of speech for four days. In an effort to cover up her health condition, the presidency has, during
Mrs. Jonathan’s hospitalization,
engaged in a game of hide-and-seek with the media, at first claiming that the First Lady was only resting after a
hectic schedule of hosting the African First Ladies Forum. Although several reports have
pinpointed the nature of Mrs.
Jonathan’s condition since then, the President and his aides have chosen to hide it from the public despite spending several millions of dollars in public funds on her treatment. Last week, the president's office made
available to the public a grainy, three- second video clip that said showed that Mrs. Jonathan was "hale and hearty." Neither the date nor the
location of the video was identified, but Mr. Jonathan 's spokesperson said
the president had embarked on a
secret trip to his wife accompanied by the Presidential villa's vicar and two of the president's kids.
