Katsumoto: If the Cuban model was such a successful model, many nations and individuals would have voted for it. Besides, Cubans didn’t vote for communism, it was forced upon them. Nigeria is not a Capitalist nation. Capitalism encourages and stimulates private investment. There is nothing about Nigeria that is conducive for business. You need to either understand the definition of Capitalism or understand the Nigerian environment better. The Nigerian environment stifles innovation, reduces productivity and profitability, and promotes mediocrity, which is completely antithetic to the ideals of pure capitalism. |

But you sound like you don't really have a clue about the Scandinavian model. |
DailyNews: I am impressed a lot...thumbs up if u are writing this from deep down your heart & with the true fear of God....then do not panic cos u will surely find a deserving mate, just keep being real, make yourself visible to those kind of guys u desire, do not be pompous, cos such men disgust such ladies, do not be arrogant, dress moderately cute & not amorous or too exposing....be committed in the things of God, do not take away prayer...& flee from bad & wrong female friends...they ruin lives...do not even take or heed to their counsel....your dream man will surely locate u sooner...but focus more on your academics/career & forget about men for now & let it come naturally at its own ripe time. don't be intimated by what guys may tell u here, just filter then & take the good counsels & use others to educate yourself. Goodluck dear....I am so much impressed to hear a Nigerian lady say all these. But lastly, do away with material quest, greed & self gratification, they have landed so many one-time innocent good girls into big mess that ruined their lives! Remember, it mustnt be all about money even though comfort is vital...but let not money be your criteria for selection if u truly want to get that ur dream man who would treat u like a queen u are!If she really is taking the religious stance seriously, she won't just be looking for "swag", "flly" guys like she said earlier on. You'd hear what every guy has to say |
hardbody: I do not know about Nokia, but if it were to be a BB and you had activated your BB protect, you could retrieve your details and get the manufacturers to deactivate the BBM capabilities. At least no sane buyer will buy a balckberry that he wount be able to ping with. IMOYh well, that too aint easy. Getting RIM to do that. They need proof of ownership etc. And things don't reaaally work or conform well to overseas standards. E.g. Proof of ownership |

chyket: I think most Nigerians don't know you can insure your phones with little or next to nothing. And how much is that per month in Nige? I'm guessing it would vary according to the brands too yh? |
OMO IBO: in a country where virtually everything and anything is and can be stolen i seriously do not understand why this service is not available in nigeria.Ooh! Soo waanted to try that. Don't have d IMEI number too. But hoping the network would have it, because they usually have details of the phone that connects to the networks. On contract anyway. Don't know abt payg |
jason123: Half a bread is better than none. Other people don't even have the privileged to see these sort of structures in their states. That quote is exactly what is killing the morale of Nigerian citizen. You have a RIGHT to a loaf of bread. Your governor gives u half. And u quote that?! Pitiful |
Don't think it needs to be. Technically, it should work, sice its effectively a hotspot. Android has that functionality. On some phones anyway |
Katsumoto: I agree that society should provide a safety net but I don't believe it should be a permanent one. I believe society should help poor but BRIGHT kids with their education. If dumb rich kids get to go to college, then poor bright kids are equally deserving.Yet another good write. The other end of the spectrum. I believe this is what the conservatives are trying to achieve. But tax increase...? Hmm |
shymmex: @KatsumotoTrue talk. But its that balance that is not easy to attain |
shymmex: I'm not an economist - but I believe if I can pay 40% tax as a middle-earner, why can't the rich pay 50-60% tax??You really are a kid aren't you? You come here, write like you know what you are talking about, like a lot of you here do. Who on this blue earth told you the high earners don't pay tax? Answer that and don't keep quiet like when I corrected you on the Rolls Royce talk (cos with that, you wrote like knew what you were saying too). Answer of acknowledge you were/are wrong, else you would not learn anything from this. |
cabali: Well you got it right, it is false! called someone at the bank and was told the information is completely wrong; I wonder how u figured it outStarting to recognise their ways you see... |
cabali: I wonder why people keep misleading people in falsehood! This information is TOTALLY wrong!! Quote me!!!Really don't know what they gain. They're all packed on this site. |
Na una vote for all of them....no be so? Remember how everybody was wankin ooff to Jonathan's campaign and other current politician. Proof that media does help win elections! |
Baabs: Mtn of 1400 is unlimited. Cos I downloaded data of 6gig in second day of subscription. And today mk it 20 days wit dsame sub. Downloadin continuePls, are you speaking the truth? MTN 1400 is UNLIMITED? Cos pple are saying otherwise and I'm almost done with this 3GB of GLO (which is impressive, speed wise, but data limit not enough for me). Don't let me spend 1400 on MTN and realise its not UNLIMITED like you claim! |
Visman: Bullshit!!! D state of Texas alone is bigger Dan British isle combined not to mention d income per capita of US 3times DAT of England.besides, england is America's puppet so I want to knw how on earth England is more developed Dan AmericaSeriously? You are a child to believe that "puppet" line boy! |
shymmex: Even the Rolls Royce plc is partly owned by BMW.Think it's right to say now, that anything you say won't be taken as a proper fact. Should be listened to with doubt. Check their website. Do ur research and tell me if they are partly own. They only had an arm of the plc merge with BMW sometime in the past, in Germany...I think. Its now a fully owned subsidiary of RR plc. *edit* From wiki. Read on "RR Deutschland". Facts kid! |
Chinom: I will throw the question back to you. Why would Nigerian/ African parents go to any length to make sure that their kids born in the UK or USA obtain a Britsh or American Passport ?. NO BRITISH OR AMERICAN CHILD BORN IN NIGERIA APPLIES FOR A NIGERIAN PASSPORT. The Singer Nathalie Imbruglia was born in Nigeria. Does she carry a Naija passport ?. NO. My friend accept the reality and move on.Those questions you posed are just politically correct questions, but utterly meaningless and unrealistic. We have a loooong way to go.Oh my goodness.... From NOW on, I'd be filtering everything I read on this site. Natalie Imbruglia, born in Nigeria?? Not Australia abi? Lord have good mercy on human beings! Cheeeiii! Mr/Miss. Chinom! Everybody, watch what this user says from now on o! |
shymmex: Rolls Royce Motors is owned by Volkswagen Group. Not rolls Royce plc, as the previous poster meant. RR motors is different entity to RR plc. Learn! |
shymmex: SHELL isn't a british company..Cmon...talk proper fact. Rolls Royce is split in two. Rolls Royce plc and rolls Royce motors. The latter which is sold to VW/BMW. Not rolls Royce plc, which is still fully British owned. AMD they make jet engines etc. |
u lot are funny. you cant reaaally just use GDP to measure how stable, rich an economy is. it all depends on a number of factors. 2bh, I'd take Englan any day over USA. deffo! so many to list, is it healthcare (and dont go on about british pples teeth, cos its kinda taboo). we talking peace, security etc. reminds me of when I first got to nige and everybody kept on going on about the US. funny thing is, theyve never been. they have been brainwashed by hollywood. hecck Iceland is waay better than d US. its a proper doggy world, d us. the goverment just reaally supports industries etc. list is seriously endless. what the us has been/is doing and tries to do perfectly is what China is doing amazingly if not perfectly. while UK, intentionally, chills and does hers on the side. read d history of the 2 countries and take a broad look at the BIG picture. UK still stands. china would eclipse d US and all soon. even after, d uk would stand. when I get laptop connected, I'd write more in details. Chew this, if the UK government was still in control of the most of North America. That place would be much better than it is. |
Cheers for the reply. I'm guessing those calculators aren't scientific yh? Asking cos want to know how one should practise. Also, would u say the numerical is typical numerical tests or this is tricy? Basically, shl, psl, gmat, gre...which? And, spatial? Nawa o. U'd be alright man |

thameamead: Well said, there was a long queue of people wanting to marry the Yar Adua'S daughters, two of them married ended up as second and third wives to Governors while the younger one Aisha was meant to marry an ugly billinoire.Haba!!!! Who told you Hamilton dumped a chick after he made money? Heck, who told u a girl's father sponsored him?? Chai! From what I've read EVERYWHERE, his dad worked his ass of to send him go karting n all! Easy on d allegations missy. Research properly |
Smart boy. . .married her after his company went public. If they get divorced, she will be entitled only to the money he made after the wedding. . .not even the money he made on Friday. . . the day before they got married. Yep, dude obviously has the right people advising him.
Don't think that matters you know. I mean, wots d whole idea behind a prenup. Even tho he got a divorce without his company going public, but as already made money via facebook. She could still get loads, during divorce. I think anyway. |
Any fix? Not installing. Trying to see what the fuss is all about. Says something about the app not digitally signed n all. Cheers |
Soz, prob a stupid qstn. But are calculators allowed? |
The UK under Labour was a perfect mix between capitalism, and socialism - why rock the boat now??
