Op..igbo2011. U know why now abi? |
Hmmmmmm.....could sell u some of the cds I've got or make some for you. Heck could make new titles for you, but the connection speed in nige won't make that feasible and I've pretty much deleted nice titles of ma haard drive to save space. Actually, just so you know. Some if not most has been scratched. Thanks to kids, dog and pple not playing them that much again. Esp since 360 is now getting red ring of dath. U kno infamous rrod. AAand, if u chipped ur 360 properly. Don't think it should matter if its pal or ntsc. So re-chip it properly! New techniques out now! |
Lol! You want to do that in Nige? With the kind of connection speeds in Nige? You're funny! Well, if you want to try, you should try get a cross-over cable (RJ-45, with the ends kinda reversed). Share your ethernet port on your laptop. Plug ur modem to your laptop (since I'm assuming this is how you connect to the internet. A lot of pple do this way) And basically, just do ICS (internet connection sharing) between your USB port (internet source) and Ethernet (xbox internet source). On the 360, go to the settings/connection menu and set it to DHCP (that's if ur laptop is set to dish out ip addresses automatically. Else, u'd have to insert the addresses manually). And viola! U done. Try signing in! Really hope I explained it kinda ok and in simple english! A reeeaaally straight forward way would be to by the higher up internet connections that comes with wireless routers. Then buy d wireless adaptor for your 360. (No offence, but why 360? Its shit. PS3 would have the wireless thing inbuilt already). Then connect wirelessly via ur router. Comprende? |
Well, let me know when you get a reply, cos A LOT of pple haven't. Hopefully, they aren't just trying to get email addresses or pples details via CVs |
Well, let me know when you get a reply, cos A LOT of pple haven't. |
obinna 222: Bros, |
obinna 222: Bros,Guy, When did this become mandatory in the UK? Don't see cares with headlamps on, daytime. Only time, if u in d fast lane and d car behind u wants to go faster, then s/he flashes d lamps for u to go faster or clear! Same Autobahn |
obinna 222: Bros,Guy, When did this become mandatory in the UK? Don't see cares with headlamps on, daytime. |
Curious. All those who asked for the questions. Have you received it? |
No offence mate. But a user has posted about this months ago. And like him another same post was posted a while back. So, point is. This aint legit! Comprende? |
Ok, since nobody said a thing.... Kinda had or maybe still have this question on my mind. Say this cos back in the UK, its mandatory. Except if its an application form you filling and has no field for uploading a cover letter. But if its to an email addreSs, its a must. That's in the UK anyway, But in Nige, I've seen pple, a lot of pple, just send a little brief letter, more like a note 2bh, reading something like, "please find attached my CV...etc" But I'd just say, put the letter in the email (body of the email) or if u think the letter is a little long. Attach it together with ur CV, stating its name as "cover letter". So, if the employer sees it, before s/he decides to click on the link to download the letter, s/he is aware they're about to read a letter, which might be long or not (doesn't mean u make ur letter looong, by d way. Time!). As compared to having a long letter as the body of the email, that just "slaps them in the face" when they click to open the email. Too much read = turn off ! Now, with regards the post. Yes, some vacancy don't show the available posts. But you could do some research and u could find them. If you find the post you want, you could start by saying something like this," I am writing to apply for the position of Trainee Gunslinger, as advertised on the ExxonMobil website and have attached my CV for your consideration". If you don't know the post, but maybe its a graduate scheme, which obviously might have a collective number of posts. " I am writing to apply for a position in the Graduate Trainee program at KPMG, as advertised on the Ngcareers website, and have attached my CV for your consideration. Hope this helps m8! Ooh yh, and d subject could just be, "Trainee Gunslinger application" or "Application for the position/post of Trainee Gunslinger". |
Cheers |
Ok, so this question probably is a no brainer. But just want to be sure since I've been seeing it in job apps. When is asked to provide nysc certificate number. Are they referring to the nysc number that starts like this: NYSC/FCT/FRN/8xxxxxx or the actual NYSC certificate number that is printed on the actual certificate, that starts with (mine anyway): A0019.......? Thanks in advance |
ifeski007: Pls can sumbody hlp me with the dragnet study pack plss,ve jt bin called for their test.my email is ifeski007@yahoo.ca tanksSoz but, thought pple have gone through this stage already. Check other threads. So how is it that you are getting mail now? Hmm |
slam7000: How many Nigerian homes have you seen the interiors of or do you depend on what you saw in the property section?.There are lots of amazing interior decors around but i know most people wont post the pics of their interiors for security reasons...most of those houses do not cost so much cos of cheap labour as compared to a place like uk..where a labourer can earn about £60[N15,000]a day.about interiors,,,,naija ppl have very good taste.personally i know some people who imported most of their interior stuffs[plumbing, kitchen, bathroom, furniture etc}from places like Travis Perkins and B&Q here in the uk.you need to see the interior decor to believe..You're funny. Are you comparing the prices in naira with that of uk prices? Obviously, it would seem cheaper looking from a £ point of view. But an average Nige would see these prices as INSANE!! |
You mean the SRD application?
If by SRD, you mean the shell recruitment portal. Then yes. But not only that, most applications in general. Get no email at all. If there was a reliable phone number, that could be called to follow up on the application. That would be good. Its like, apply and no reply or get refused. So those who get replies and chance for interviews. What do they do different? Etc Also, if I may ask. How lng does this recruitment phase take. From application to job start? Cheers. |
Hmm...nawa o! Look at pple going on about how they got d link etc lol! Congrats! Got refused straight! What on earth did you lot do? |
Are you 4 real? So the post some user posted this month in the career section, about Diamond bank recruiting is a total lie? Why on earth do people do this? Collecting details etc. Had a feeling it was. We were told to send CVs to this email: cedoho@diamondbank.com. Pls somebody confirm its rubbish. ALSO, are we saying taking CVs to the bank itself is an important move too? Asking, cos always thought they'd refuse it and say go online instead. Nawa o. Spent a year and a half in Nige and still aint got d hang of things. Dulin big time. Lil advise guys. I beeg! |
Seriously don't know what I'm doing wrong in these applications lol! What on earth did you lot do different? Connection? Whaat?!lool |
@jason123. That's Mike Adenuga's house, is not in Abuja. But Lagos, Banana Island. Your pic is probably an old pic, cos the centre statue is missing. |
Went there. The staffs there kept saying the animals would come out when its raining season. I think its a reaaaaaaally good idea/place. Just hope they haven't killed and choped all those wildlife, cos there wasn't much wildlife to see. Fresh air etc...and most importantly, you shouldn't go there, thinking of rushing thru d place. Its a place to relax, patient and chill really. I like to think those animals are still there, but when I went there...only peacocks, like a turtle or two and a monkey I think, we saw. Ooh yh, and a bird. Maybe, raining season like the staffs keep saying. Dunno! But nevertheless, nice place. Also, think its official now. I've realised we have "hypers" registered on this site. All bent on hyping/advertising their stuff. This I think is a thread like it. Not saying the place aint all that. But op, u sly! |
This country...... And her citizens are used to standing and watching.... Smh |
hmmmmmmmmmm @op. This is your first ever post, since registration. Just wondering. Anyway, what's the name of the post? Is it really "executive graduate trainee positions"? Cos I'm hearing otherwise. Accounting position, instead. Thanks |
Na d black man in him they help am lol! Joking! But maybe. U lot prob didn't know he's 1/4 black, 3/4 white eh? |
Yp! Another nige snitched on him! Deffo! Nige pple are mean o |
Thought all these kidnappings thingy has stopped. Cmon!!!!! |
Arysexy: FIXEDThink I get it now lol! The stand between Igbo and Yoruba. On this forum anyway. Which might reflect how it is in Nige. You like the stand Yoruba is at and like to get there and do better. But still, you got love...lots of love. Kinda like the stubborn, "want to be like the other guy, but better" feeling, want to be in d shoes of the other guy, want to have what he has etc... Cute. Heey, just saying. I come in peace too by d way lol! |
Chinom: To answer your question, Yes. We Igbos are enlightened and cosmopolitan enough to know that there is a difference between ownership and indigenuos people. If 60% of people who occupy Enugu and own properties there are non Igbos, then it's fair to accept that we don't own Enugu,But still remain indigenes of Enugu. But that has not happened yet and will not happen in our life time.Hmm...but how are you sure Enugu as mentioned, don't have pple fron Anambra etc, make up 60% of her population? Cos being fair, Lagos population is huge. 40% of this population is huge let alone 60%. All u seeing are probably just that 40%. You'd never know. 60% could and probably be all Indegenes. Point is, you can never know! If you get me anyway |
binhozie: Clears throat. . Lemme explain all this BIS BS once and for allYh, so you saying mtn n glo is pretty much the same. Except, mtn has a way smaller data cap of 200MB? |
4llerbuntu: FreetardsOk, u lot r confusing me now. On glo, 1500 deal gets you 3GB. This which I've found out not to be enough fr me. This 3GB get used up when I download deffo, think when I browse too, not sure. But if I still have some left from that 3GB, I can download, irrespective credit. But deffo not stream (cos it uses the credit...a lot of it I must add). Now, when u lot now say MTN is unlimited. Does this mean UNLIMITED downloads too? Asking cos from all sites I'm looking at, it says 200MB for that 1500 deal. Surely, that can't just be inclusive of downloads. So is this just for browsing? Then downloads come out of your credit? Cos if its truly unlimited, even with no credit (obv excluding streaming). This might just be my download answer. Thanks |
