chyk91:UK tourist visa application does not normally attract the full rights of appeal. And if you were refused the visa for reason of fake or fraud document, then, there should be no doubt in your mind. For more details: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-401198.0.html |
Haba, Mr., you have 11 posts, and i see you begging in your every post, you even gave different names is some. Why is it so? https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?action=profile;u=598396;sa=showPosts |
joseph020:How old are you, how may we help you, what exactly do you want? Talking about the "money paid into an account", what account is that, does that benefit also apply to a person who is not an habitual resident in the UK? |
justwise:Well done, man. So, this guy, after being exposed several times now came here pretending to be a genuine someone with his selfish advice. He probably would have succeeded in winning the poster's trust and then lure him into private corresepondence where he'd then scam him. |
lordizak:Yes, it's possible, he probably has an arranged travel document for you, and he will coach you on how to use it; easier when you travel along with him. My advice: keep this to yourself and make sure you don't upload your photo in your profile, at least while the plan lasts; also, you may request the moderator to delete this thread so it won't be discoursed further. Remember, this website is accessible the world over, |
Regarding your accommodation details, your brother (the sponsor) was/is expected to provide evidence that his rented or owned property has certain number of rooms, and though the council tax documents and utility bills are evidence that he lives in a house, but they are not proofs that he has an accommodation for you. And as for your financial circumstance, It's very hard to pick against refusal. By your own admission, you stated that the reason your salary doesn't reflect in your bank statement is the fact that the company you work for is "a small business enterprises in Nigeria", this alone explains that your financial circumstance is not encouraging, and that the company you work for does not represent a kind of solid company that can guarantee your employment, something to return to Nigeria for, hence it will not convince the judge that you will be a genuine visitor to the UK. If really you know the guidelines for visa approval or refusal, you would see that applicants financial status and obligations are the first things to consider as credibility and ties to return home for. But, in your own case, even if you were given the benefits of doubt, what would you give as your home ties and obligation to return home for? There is nothing i can say now that would change anything since the appeal is in progress, so let's just hope for success on the ground of miracle. But as for the advice of what to do here: debenjie:My answer remains the same: "The biggest risk of jeopardising your chance for the visa is; attempting to play smart with your account statement by ultering the figures. Do not ever try to temper it as it will definitely be detected and you'd be banned from the UK for 10 years." Use the bank statement as it is |
My friend, things are easier when done orderly, you should have made adequate arrangements to make yourself qualified for the visa before going for the application. Honestly, as hard as it is to say, i judge that you made it so easy for the visa officer to reach a decision, and as harder as it is to say further, you don't stand much of a chance in your appeal except for a miracle. This is not a case of ill wishes, but let's just be fair; your own brother (who you claimed to be your sponsor) has probably not demonstrated enough willingness or provisions to support your application by his omission to provide: * Evidence of his financial circumstance * Willingness to maintain you in the UK * Evidence of his employment * Accommodation details for you and, * Has not shown convincing interest to cover all expenses. Mind you, his immigration history also plays a major role. Bedsides, the money you claim to be making in a month (£133) is deemed ridiculous in the eyes of the visa officer who knows fully well that an ordinary sales girl in the UK can make that amount in just 2 days. So, how would he be convinced that you're going to be a genuine visitor in the UK? |
I see that you're online, please wait, while i read your letter and get back to you. |
g unit:I didn't mention that you should forget about Ukraine, i only told you what you should be prepared for ![]() |
debenjie:Well, as we do not know the exact grounds of your visa refusal, it may be unwise to advice. But given that your financial circumstance is questionable, my question is: If you don't have reasonable money in your account, and you've been refused a visa apparently for this reason, then what are you appealing against? Appeal simply means: a legal proceeding in which you resorts to a higher body for the purpose of obtaining a review of a lower body's decision and a reversal of the previous judgment or the granting of re-consideration when you think a decision is unjust or has breached your rights. But i do not think the ECO's decision is wrong and appealable in this occasion. debenjie:The biggest risk of jeopardising your chance for the visa is; attempting to play smart with your account statement by ultering the figures. Do not ever try to temper it as it will definitely be detected and you'd be banned from the UK for 10 years. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-401198.0.html |

@Ycoxyng How about making your advice civil, why not take away the religion reference? |

Ukraine? Well, take these measures into account: *Be prepared to always watch your back whenever a person walks behind you as the Skin-Head racists there are extremely physical and can attack you with deadly force. * Always make sure you don't walk alone at night or in an empty street during day time. * Always make sure you're fit and athletic enough to enable you run fast for your life whenever you're being chased in the streets by their Skin-Head racists. * Prepare yourself to always elude banana missiles that would be thrown anonymously at you in the streets through upstair windows. * Be prepared to get familiar with the "Hail Hitler" salute, and also with the name "Makaka" (Russian word for Monkey) without protest as protesting them may cost you blood. * You'd learn to be appreciative whenever someone says to your face "Go home Nigger" or calls you "Makaka" because, the same person could have shot or stabbed you and ran away. * Be prepared to be mockingly offered bananas occasionally, and know that you won't have any police to report the abuses to as there is no law in place against racism in Ukraine. * Ensure that you have enough funding from Nigeria to maintain yourself as you would never find a job how much more to talk about its poor wages ranging from 754 to 900 Ukrainian Hryvnia (about 70 to 85 Euros) a month. * Be prepared to sometimes sleep in extremely cold room during their biting winter as you might find it difficult to pay for the Soviet style central heater. * Be prepared to study in an ancient Greek style alphabets * Bear in mind that your education certificate will not be recognised in EU countries as you will definitely have to upgrade. * Bear in mind that you would have to return to Nigeria as soon as you finished your education because, you would not like to become a wayward person like many stranded and frustrated Nigerians before you. * The only good thing i reckon about them is, they have some of the most beautiful women in the world: tall, slim, blonde, blue-eyed sexy girls who crave for black guys So, perhaps this is enough for you to undermind other negative things about the country |
Balzac:Check the date and see if it is really after or before 10 years that you were deported. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do if you've been banned, and i mean absolutely nothing. I can imagine how it feels, but they won't even pay attention to any further correspondence from you until after the 10 years Note: The ban did not start from the day that you were removed from the UK, but from the day that you made the fresh application for the visa. That's how they enforce it |
gestapo:With the awareness that there are smart people like you, i'm loving Nairaland. Thanks my dear. |
fbiswagger:Could there be a better definition for "Silly" than a person who gets violently mad when another disbelieves his story? And doesn't "Ignorance" mean: the lack of knowledge that people have the rights to thier opinions? |
Siena:@ All, take a look at Siena and learn the civilised way to address someone who seems not to agree with your opinions. It is a pity that you guys are deeply en-rooted in your arrogance that you throw insults and curses without even knowing it. Dear Siena, thank you for the hint, i've eventually confirmed so soon after i made that comment. Initially, i thought it was a baseless story hence the comment. |
tigerpaws:Thank you so much, Tigress. Hey, but you made a great observation, she's got nice, sexy pic. @I-shi't-for body, Is that really you? I must say that you've got the curves, but sad that you didn't show the behaviour of a good girl, i would have asked you to model for my business. |
asiwaju:Thanks for coming in. You see, one gets used to the swearing and cursing and the name calling from faceless nonentities hiding behind computer monitors just because you see things different from the way they see them. These are the same individuals that would kneel down to greet "goodmorning sir" when they meet you in person. |
ishit4body:It's really sick to ask you that question, but it's not sick that you "shi't for body" as your username implies? |
ishit4body:Why would you encourage him to pay for a suspicious service, or are you benefiting from it, yourself? @ Chuxs, DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY TO ANY ACCLAIMED VISA AGENTS, THEY ARE 99% LIKELY TO BE FAKE. THOUGH, WE KNOW THAT THE UAE IS AN ARAB NATION, BUT TAKE THESE POINTS AND QUESTIONS INTO CONSIDERATION: *HOW DID YOU KNOW THESE VISA AGENTS? *WHAT DO YOU REALLY KNOW ABOUT THEM? *WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO THEY PREFER? *DO THEY HAVE ANY PHYSICAL REPRESENTATIVE THAT WOULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE IN THE EVENT OF YOU BEING SCAMMED? *HAVE YOU TESTED THEIR CREDIBILITY ENOUGH? *TEST THEM TO SEE IF THEY ARE WILLING TO ASSIST YOU WITH OTHER COUNTRY'S VISAS *TRY THEIR PATIENCE AND SEE IF THEY ARE IN A HURRY TO GET PAYMENTS FROM YOU. *WHO PROVIDED THE DOCUMENTS USED FOR THE VISAS? *DID THEY EVER TRY TO HURRY YOU UP DURING OR THROUGH THE PROCESS? I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU PAY THEM NO MONEY ESPECIALLY THROUGH WESTERN UNION OR MONEY GRAM AS YOU ARE EXTREMELY LIKELY TO BE DUPED: ASK FOR THEIR BANK ACCOUNT, AND GET BACK TO US SO WE MAY JUDGE FROM THERE |
Maverick05:Wise talk. You seem to be a worthy someone, and a visa application from you deserves to be treated with merit. But i'm a bit concerned about the ground on which you're making this application, however, if you really desire to make it through the conference, then, arm yourself with an explicit invitation letter from the conference lecturer who you said is "a colleague and also a long time friend", Your personal relationship with him might also be taken into consideration, and your adequate knowledge about the conference and its organisation together with your interest and expected benefits might see you through, but yet, a visa can not be guaranteed |
