Read my english carefully and you'd understand that i was referring to the mindsets or mentality of Nigerians. So, don't get it all wrong: the sin i wrote there carries quotation mark, meaning, that's what many people (nigerians) call such act. I'm not so shallow in mentality to judge such as "sin" ![]() |
No comparison white or black in regard to affection, most black girls are too money conscious. what a shame. Find white men or women at www.bebeye.com |
I acknowledge that the mindset of the vast Nigerians is; spending the last moments of a passing year and the arrival of a new year in Church or Prayer House. But there should be some who spent these moments in bed with romance or sx partners, thus welcoming the new year in romance or "sin". Is there anyone who is liberal enough to admit this here? Also, if you spent these hours in Church or Prayer House, share it here Find free love/romance at: www.bebeye.com |
Well done, Davedavy Now, Omopupanim, it would be better if you make narration of the reason(s) for which the visa was refused |
snowdrops:He's in Nigeria, he'd made several attempts to travel abroad, applying for the wrong visa types, but wasn't successful, he now works as administrative/clerical staff at a University Teaching Hospital. |
adexchamp:Much appreciated, Man. |
Airller:With determination and self recognition, you can be a better person. |
justwise:I was actually wondering why he responded "thank you" to a comment directed at the Original Poster, and i'm trying to figure out what the game might be. |
Lol at how you ressurected this thread. Well-done |
thanks guys i'll consider your suggestion, @Vicjustice, sori bro. correction noted.
Correction noted indeed lol ![]() |
It actually depends on factors like your age, your attitudes especially when considered suspicious (not necessarily regarding romance relationship), but also likely, he might be interested to know what you do and the kind of friends you associate with. Respecting your privacy or introding into it, every reasonable parent would want to have some ideas of their children's activities, especially when the child seems to be somehow secretive; Nobody wants to have his loved child fall into trouble: and remember, when you get yourself into trouble, your parents will be the ones to bear the burden. So, please, don't give out on him, he's probably trying to be protective, so, you should appreciate him for caring to know more about your private life. |

Dantecmu and Dancewith I appreciate the maturity with which you guys have made your points and have brought my error to my notice, thanks guys. I don't know why i kept assuming that the poster was talking about the UK visa. . . , Anyway, thanks for the clarification |
The problem now is dat we couldnt get a date yet for the interview appointment. Is she we going to pay for another visa fee if she couldnt get interviewed b4 feb 2nd?
Dot_Man, perhaps you can make yourself clearer. Are you talking about booking another interview date on same visa application or, you meant making a fresh visa application due to the fact that this current application is time sensitive as a result of failing to get appropriate appointment date? |
I don't think there's anything wrong with dating a neighbour as long as s/he is not your family member |
Dot_Man I understand you said "Visa Fee", so i gave you my response regarding the subject, "Visa Fee". Dantecmu Your claim about visa fee is incorrect, visa fees are not refundable regardless of any reason that led to the refusal, cancellation or withdrawal, except under some unlikely circumstances resulting from the embassy error that might compel them to take decisive action to refund the fees. So, in the event of an applicant withdrawing his/her application, the fee is forfeitted; and every different application that s/he makes attracts another visa fee as each application is treated in its own merit. Please, refer to the Terms and Conditions governing visa application. |
Pls i really need help urgently. . . . My sister is planning to vistit the united states on a tourist visa, we have submitted the visa application form (DS-160) and we chose 2nd of february 2011 as the date of entry. The problem now is dat we couldnt get a date yet for the interview appointment. Is she we going to pay for another visa fee if she couldnt get interviewed b4 feb 2nd? Thanx
To start with, know that some cases are straight refusal or approval so, it may not be necessary for the embassy to interview her in order to reach a decision. But there is still much time, we're still in December. However, the onus is on you to ensure that you make visa application early enough to allow the embassy enough time to process your application. So, in the event of the embassy not being able to process your visa application due to busy schedule, the embassy would have no choice but to decide your application according to the circumstances in hand, and in most cases, the visas are refused for reason of change of circumstance or, unsuitable purpose due to change of circumstance. And to answer your question, YES, you will have to pay another visa application fee if you decide to withdraw this current application and make subsequent one. But it is wiser to withdraw a visa application than to be refused a visa that you properly deserve. |
jamiu4real:I don't seem to be understanding you correctly. . , by "automotive engineer", were you talking about the university Certified Mechanical Engineer or you were referring to the Practical Automobile Technician comonly known as "Mechanic"? If you were talking about the first, then, my response remains the same, "you shouldn't need your O Level certificate when you already have a superseding A level one". But if the other, then, it may be necessary for you to present some prove of fundamental formal education irrespective of your trade or profession. |
jamiu4real:That would be irrelevant, you shouldn't need your O Level certificate when you already have a superseding A level one. |

suxes2005:Thanks, Mr Shalom, and may shalom continue to be your song. |
Jincheng:You would still need to go to a travel agent (that operates ticket/booking office) because, you can't do much online since credit card transactions are not acceptable from Nigeria, so, you can neither book nor purchase the ticket online in Nigeria: You need to consult a travel agent, they will sort out a carrier for your brother and you pay by cash. |

beelicious:No, not really. The application was "fast tracked" not because you have a US visa, but because it was a straight case of automatic refusal, hence it wasn't necessary to interview you. And no, you can not appeal it, it is decided and closed. You can re-apply if you like. |
Honestly, i'm surprised at the poll, that 42% of Nigerians, and i mean Nigerians of all people claiming that they never cheated where-as the middle name of a Nigerian is CHEAT. Yes, perhaps the estimate may be less with the married women, but the vast majority of Nigerian girls, boys and men have cheated, in fact, they don't see it as cheat, "smart" they would call it |
WHO BRAG THAT WHOEVER HAS GOTTEN AMERICAN VISA IS AUTOMATICALLY QUALIFIED FOR EUROPEAN VISAS? Sorry for the refusal, but to be honest, your application was a straight case, you've presented a bank statement from your dad, and the statement doesn't display source of income, that is not good. You could have saved yourself the trouble by supporting your application with a statement containing up to six months transaction details especially the sources of incomes. And, the ECO was right regarding the appeal rights. Though they are usually polite enough to put it in this term: "your application does not attract a full rights of appeal", but it absolutely means NO RIGHTS OF APPEAL in the actual sense. You can not appeal a tourist or visit visa refusal except it is a family visit. Now, what you can do better is to present a bank statement showing good balance with transaction details of up to 6 months, 3 months details would be considered too. As long as you've not used any deceitful documents or misleading information, your application rights does not have limit, you can reapply any time once you've made the correction(s) |
Dear Tigerpaws & Reindeer Though i regard your outstanding qualities, but i will not shy away from censuring you when i feel you do something wrong according to my sensibility. Now, when a person sees two people fighting, s/he is supposed to have two choices as a cautious person of good will, or three choices, as an average human with flexible and open capability: The two choices are: Either you try to stop the fight or, you let them be. The three choices are: Either you try to stop the fight or, you let them fight on or, you take side with one and join in the fight. So, if you decide to take side with one, then, you're not fair to the other. But bear in mind that the person that you have combined yourselves to fight against also has people who would join him/her in the fight against you, and that would become a mob fight. Is that what you want? Please, make peace and not war. |
Dorammy:There is already all sort of troubles involved in being a first time traveller how much more when you are bringing all these suspicious concoctions with you. So, as a first time traveller, doesn't common sense warn you of the danger involved in giving Immigration or Custom officers the chance to ask you questions? If you declared the items, you would be subjected to chain questions and thorough examinations (by quarantine officers). . , the reconsideration of your visa is very possible. But if you do not declare them, you would face hell of troubles with huge fines and possible stoppage. Either of these processes could take up to 12 hours if not a whole day to resolve and you would be locked up in the "holding room" while they determine your case. Now, using your own initiative, you should know that when you give the UK authority the chance to question you about the items you're carrying with you, you increase the risk of stoppage and deportation because, they might find other reasons to cancel your visa. Is that what you want? |
