A visa applicant who can't read or write (nor understand English) will be entitled to a translator, a representative or an advocate (someone who will plead his case) depending on the needs that are deemed necessary. In most cases, it is the responsibility of the embassy to provide any such assistant (especially if you notify them of such special needs prior to attendance); however, it's acceptable if one provides his/her own personal assistant. madudu:You're fortunate that the only digit(s) that you tampered with is that of the YEAR, and you are more fortunate that it is an easier thing to rectify or defend with excusable reasons. Trust me, i know two guys who had similar cases and how they were troubled with the matter until i suggested how to go about them. You can do the same: If you live in Nigeria, i suggest that you go and make a declaration of age, which you may support with AFFIDAVITS declaration, otherwise go to the Nigerian embassy and make the age declaration. |

So, the balance amount in your statement matters as much as the transaction details |

You're probably right if your observation is based on the spiritual aspect, but if (like you mentioned) it involves physical and psychological disadvantages, then you are unprofessionally wrong, and obviously wrong by that.
