thats y i said u shoud get involve where u will meet people thatr share the same view with u that can come up with idea on how we can change our country.
Does the idea involve trying and sending evil people like Obasanjo, Babangida, Aneni, Igbinedion and other wicked thieves who still manipulate the country to jail?
How can you make your compound safe for your children without first getting rid of the scorpions and serpents that dwell in the play-ground?
TravelRe: Help Witadvice On D Decision Of D Asylum&immigration Tribunal On My Appeal Case by Vicjustice: 12:55pm On Apr 07, 2009
opsy4real1:
Hi Fellow Niaralanders,
I write to seek your opinions on the unfortunate and undeserved situation I find myself with the ASYLUM AND IMMIGRATION TRIBUNAL which poses a threat to my career as a result of their decision on my late appeal .

It happened that I did not receive my Refusal notice on time as I got it from the UK Visa application centre on the 8th of January 2009, I applied for late appeal and extension of time in my case and the deadline to my appeal was to be the 5th of February 2009.
I sent my appeal forms and other supporting documents to the Asylum and immigration tribunal via a registered post through the NIPOST on the 3rd of February 2009.

I received a notification and decision on my late appeal from the Asylum and Immigration tribunal last week that “TIME IS NOT EXTENDED” simply because the date on the post mark on the envelope used to send the forms to the UK was the 3rd of January 2009 which indicates that I was not being truthful of my statements about the late service(even though he was prepared to accept that I received BUT the date on the postmark is conflicting)

Fellow , the problem I find myself now is due to the recklessness of the NIPOST agent who received my mails by not setting the date adjustable stamp correctly to the current month of February rather it was January. This made the Immigration judge to conclude that if I received the Notice of refusal on the 8th January and signed it on the 2nd of February, how come the date it was posted was 3rd of January 2009.(which of course is a good point).

Now this decision has caused a
1. (DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER ON MY PERSONALITY by creating a negative impression on me as a liar before the tribunal and the British high Commision
2. Causing a halt in my portended career in the UK as a result ant time wastage as my Appeal should have been 2 months old now if this event has not occeres.
3. also the pains and monies involved intrying to collate and arrange my papers are being threatened as waste and gone down the drain due to this decision which of course was caused by the inefficiency of the Nigeria Postal services
Is there any way you could contact the NIPOST management to report this incident caused by their own errors?
Perhaps that's something you could do and see how they can accept the responsibility of the controversial date; if really the post agents made the mistake of improperly adjusting the date stamp, then i supposed there should be many other letters which should bear the testimonies of wrong date. If the NIPOST can accept this responsibility and issue official declaration regard same, then, you might still fight your appeal course.
However, if this controversy persists, why not abandon the appeal and re-apply for the visa or whatever it is?
A fresh application (with a letter addressing this incident) rectifying whatever was responsible for your refusal might help you out. Or is there something i'm getting wrong?

dear doc, i;ve a serious problem. i'm about 3wks pregnant and have a serious phobia for hospitals due to a childhood incident. my boyfriend and i really want to keep this baby but can't afford it right now (we're bpth in yr 4) i read about a drug called mifeprex also called russian 486 that'll help but worried about the risks and the availability of the drug , can anyone pls get me this drug or write me a prescription? don't want to have a surgical abortion. pls help. scared and confused. justinedasilva@ymail.com 07035111650

'''
Excuse me, do you really mean you could take any drug prescribed to you by an anonymous fella in the internet?
You see, the risks involved in taking drugs that are not professionally prescribed by a qualified practitioner are significant. Though, i could. . , but it's against medical policy to prescribe such drugs that could have great consequences (especially when the patient have not been properly examined).
But you said both you and your boyfriend want to keep the baby, then why are you aborting a baby that you both want to keep?
If however you want to do something (which i'm not encouraging you to do) then see a Doctor (in person)

Shouldn't you have sought the advice before applying for the visa?
Anyway, there are many factors to consider before assessing your eligibility.
(1) How old are you?
(2) Have you ever applied for the UK visa before?
(3) Have you ever travelled abroad before?
(4) What is your level of education?
(5) What did you originally study?
(6) Is this intended course related to the one you studied?
(7) What have you been doing since you finished your previous school?
(8] What are you currently doing?
(9) How is your own economic/financial situation?
(10) What about your own bank statement (not included?)
(11) What is your obligation or home tie (to convince the ECO that you'd be returning after the course?
(12) How do you expect to benefit from the course?
(13) How can you verify that your sponsor is indeed your uncle?
(14) What does your uncle (sponsor) has to gain from your study?
(15) Is every submitted document the original, any photocopy?

This is something that about 90% of Nairaland users do not feel comfortable with. She has an admirable profile (if only some faceless people are not going to use it against her)

Rarely would anyone get ill because he's skinny.
If you feel healthy in your skinny state, then, do not bother about what to do to add weight because, if you take desperate measures to gain weight, such weight might not be healthy for you.
Stress yourself less, eat healthy food regularly, divide your 24hrs (day) into 3: Spend 8 hours for working or studying, 8 hours for playing or relaxation and 8 hours for sleep. And remember to involve yourself in exercises to keep athletic fit when you observe that you're beginning to gain weight otherwise, your body might begin to jelly on your thin bone frame.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Nairaland Census: Your State by Vicjustice: 11:26am On Apr 02, 2009
This is one of the most interesting thread in Nairaland, i never knew it exists. It's amazing to check the results; But i just made a mistake. i was misled by the title, i didn't know that there's the option "I live abroad" neither did i realise that the sensors is about where you're browsing from, i thought it's about one's state of origin. Anyway, i clicked my state which is not a wrong choice anyway because, i do browse from there whenever i'm home.
I'm impressed at River State turn up; this is not Lagos (Nigerian Financial Capital), Nor Abuja (the Federal Capital Territory) but a humble state of its own, and yet, it challenges these two big names. Rivereans, CLAP for yourselves!!! kiss
Haba! na shame por de feofle prom de northern part of Naijuria. Make ebri bodi i kuom out and bote por my state. kai!

"Aren't hairy"?

RomanceLadies With Hairy Legs by Vicjustice(op): 1:26am On Apr 02, 2009
By researches, i observes that most Nigerian/African ladies are not aware that there is any such thing as shaving the legs.
It is remarkable that a razor has never touched the legs of the vast majority of Nigerian/African girls; And sometimes, it doesn't look nice to see Nigerian/African ladies in western countries standing in public with their legs covered with rasta hair.
This is not meant for offence, but rather to bring the clear or deep perception of the situation of the matter; and i believe many people can learn from this observation.
So, what do you think about this?

@Vic.J very good memorandum u got up there.
Pls kindly keep us up to date with flight phobias, it advantages, disadvantages, it gains if crashed and loss when not crashed.
Nice article for all to learn.

Welcome aboard!!
Thanks for your commendation.
Keep you up to date with flight phobias? What exactly do you wanna know? Ask your questions so i may answer to the best of my Knowledge.
It advantages (of acrophobia) Well, there is obviously no known advantages except perhaps a phobic someone feels safer by denying him/herself the bliss of luxury and travel comfort.
Disadvantages? A lot beyond measures. First of all, it is cowardice: Yes, it is a coward attitude, a negative characteristic of submitting to fear, uncertainty, illusions, or death intimidation triggered by erroneous mental representation. Therefore, such negative characteristic should be generally frowned upon.
It gains if crashed? Well, the late Arch Bishop of Church of God Mission Int. Inc. preached a message just four days before his death, it was titled "the benefits of death". Yes, death could be beneficial depending on one's circumstances. And although it's very, very and very unlikely but yet, (i quote Siena)
Siena:
True, but you're more likely to be in an automobile smash, than a plane crash.
And in the event of a plane crash. . ,
Siena:
Besides, if you're in a plane crash, and you're killed, death is virtually painless, and instant. cool wink
Loss when not crash? Then, you loss your unreasonable fear.
QUESTION: THE DISTANCE BETWEEN LAGOS AND ONITSHA IS ABOUT 600KM, NOW, WHICH OF THE TWO OBJECTIVES IS SAFER:

                                            (B) Flying by airplane from Lagos to New York?

Dear, what word should i have used grin cheesy?
Well, i meant a deeper term of the word sadist; this doesn't necessarily refer to someone who obtains pleasure from inflicting pain on others but rather, someone who enjoys seeing other people fail or lose.
But you and your mouth (abi na your typing fingers) ? i hope you have enough hand muscle to back it up just in case of physical confrontation which your mouth could put you into cheesy grin grin.

Soon the reply button will be taken away at this point!

It makes sense to allow people to correct errors or even add addtional information to their post. Since the button has been removed have the spammers stopped?

NO!
Absolutely. It is obvious that the benefits of the MODIFY button outweighs the disadvantages (if any).
Some people are against it because they feel sad that other people enjoy the benefits, this is saddist attitude.
Now, as for the short timing, while i don't think it's the best idea for the MODIFY button to be timed, but if it must be, then i'll suggest that it should be timed for up to 24 hours. 5 or 10 minutes timing might be too short a time to realise error or to remember additional information.
