[quote author=Odinwa post=43854913]How many forms am I expected to fill and submit in this study permit application? There are more than 5 forms here and I don't understand 3 of the forms (i.e I don't have the answers to most of the questions there).
Please someone should help a brother out here. Thanks[/quote

you fill the ones that apply to you.But generally people fill
1....study permit made outside canada
2.....family information
3.... temporary residents visa TRV
4.....study permit questionnaire
then if other forms like apply to u , you also fill them.eg
a.....custodian form;if u are below 18 yrs
b......representative. ; if u are using an agent etc

hope it helps

Are you talking about the Family form ? No, you do not need to submit their birth certificates.
yes u do......It is stated by cic that you need to submit the birth certificate or data page of pp for all siblings whether they are accompaning u or not

hayqinsbFX:
well, nicely thought of by you.
but we have got to realize that these people think in a different way.
It is stated boldly on cic website that any financial commitment is made at the risk of the applicant, this is because they dont need it to make a decision on your app....
i think people just have to be smart and take advice that applies to them. Your advice above applies to me cos I got a letter of admission from brandon university and it was an unconditional letter. However those with addmission from some schools that require a financial commitment is regarded as a conditional letter of admission. The cic clearly states that if an offer is conditional the applicant MUST proof that he/she has met the conditions of that offer. This is the case of our guy that was denied, he didn't show he has met the condition of the offer by not showing the proof of payment to show commitment as requested by his institution.
pls not that the key word here is when the PAYMENT IS REQUESTED BY THE INSTITUTION.
I advice the person involved reads other pages and seive out info as applicable to him......However correct understanding of what you are reading is paramount.
best wishes and GOOD MORNING.....

hayqinsbFX:
the tuition you didnt pay didnt have anything to do with your refusal..it would have come anyways...
.
personally I feel if I am a vo and a person says he wants to genuinely study abroad but didn't pay the fees required to do so as stipulated by his proposed institution.....It invariably means that his purpose of travelling isn't genuine as there was no proof of payment before me even till the expiration date.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by vickyehi: 9:17am On Mar 16, 2016
@dreamchaser

I think u should add,
1...payslip from place of work (last 3 mths)
2...letter of introduction from ur school stating date of employment, job description, authorised leave dates, anual salary.
3...ID card
4....if u have a different salary acct it wouldn't hurt to add it
5....birth certificates of other siblings if u have siblings

that's all I can remember.

xpress101:
1. cic forms
===========================================================
2. personal documents:
Admission application reciept
Durham admission letter
passport photograph
birth cert
Yaba HND certificate
guy my input is for u to be sure that your admission letter is unconditional and if there are conditions eg part payment of fee....that u have met such conditions. If not your letter of admission isn't valid

. Oga, even if he didn't lol at d soa, he was obviously making jest of d guy cus d person he quoted said d guys application was bleeped up. Whatever reason he did d lol for was unnecessary. We r here to help ourselves not to find anybody's situation funny. U should read well before quoting people
No need for too much deliberations.....It was a funny situation he laughed end of story.
to the main issue at hand, you guys should contribute on the way forward for fola our friend.
my own contribution is thus.:
1...pick a course that relates to your post secondary course or a course relating to the job u have been doing or both.if it is a higher qualification u stand a better chance but u can still get it thou if it isnt.
2...write a statement of purpose to explain any discrepancies.
3....ensure the soa u use has enough money in naira to pay ur tuition for 1 year plus additional 10kcad in its closing balance.
That's all I can think of now but try read the thread so u can see other things to add as it applies to your case.

Well,
Going to study international business after graduating in English is a turn off...
They didn't even hav to vet ur financials
No insults meant but honestly that's the most *****d up application I have seen since the begining of part 9.
well my advice to the applicant is read the thread and repackage ur documents......ask questions every step of the way and when it is time to submit verify what you are carrying to the visa office by posting a run down of your documents.....If u want to be anonymous remove ur name from where it appears.BEST OF LUCK

Hey, they didn't collect my original acceptance letter, I asked why, they said I should photocopy it and attach it to the file. Hope it's not going to cause any wahala
I don't think it will.....It may just be at the discretion of the officer collecting the documents.so just try and relax since you have submitted....let's just hope for the best...and pls keep me informed on the progress of yours too....best of luck to us all

Thank you for ur quick response.. I tot they wouldn't need original documents except forfor the statement of account @vickyehi
Tot so too but it turned out they collected my original acceptance letter, offer letter, the official fee schedule and others I can't remember.
so that's y my advice is photocopy all then go with both ur photocopies and the originals.just so u have ur bases covered.

Hello house, please for paper application
1. Can I pay at the VAC
2.how much for everything including service charge
3. Do I need to fill vfs consent from, I just stumbled on it via there site
Ans
1...you can pay at the vac but its cash so withdraw the money....37550 that's if you aren't paying for any other thing apart fro the visa fee and biometrics
2....like I said 37530 sha as specified above....There is no service charge per say if they didn't do anything extra for u
3.....you can choose to Fill it....just download it and print..then fill it and then sign by hand

Nb ....just make sure to be on the safe side by making photocopies of all your documents and going along with both your originals and photocopies....and hold extra money for miscellaneous expenses.my advice is go there with 50k.

TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by vickyehi: 7:01am On Feb 28, 2016
@churkie.......wat I read somewhere on the thread is for u to put the amt for just this ist year except ur course of study is a 1year programme then u will have to show the entire money for the programme.if more than 1 year just show funds for 1 years duration. But make sure whatever u write as total here your sponsors statement of account can cater for it while also having enough change remaining.

You can also check thesoj post.......He broke it down better

Secondly my previous job didn't give me an employment letter and payment was cash....that's from Dec 2012 to Aug 2013 before I went back to sch...I am working elsewhere now since Jun 2015 after completing the programme I went for in march same year...so how do I go abt the employment documents.
All inputs are highly welcome...thanks
