Pls am having issues paying for cgfns with my master card because the daily nd monthly spending limits keep reducing.
Any help or ideas how else to pay?

yes it is. Cgfns will send the report to the BON on your behalf, the BON will contact you with their final decision after reviewing the report.

-You have to go through cgfns first. Cgfns will be the one to send your final report to the state Board of nursing

Ok chief..... so if I understand correctly
my step 1 is identify the state I am going to practice........=texas
step 2......apply to CGFNS for a CES report to be sent to texas BON

My confusion is that is it the CES report to texas bon that would automatically open up an application with texas bon or there is a step am missing.

Pls I want to know if it is possible for one to be in the US for a scientific programme and then the timing of this programme falls when that individual has a professional exam scheduled in the US and decides to sit for said exam. If he or she passes that professional exam can one seek for employment with the visa that was granted to attend the scientific programme?

Online routes normally get CALA on tracking number after biometrics, just ignore the code and pray you get your TRV

Cos all I have always seen is GHASTU.

yea i have and i feel devastated and heart broken! They could not find a tangible reason but only to tick insufficient funds to pay TUITION fees only is saddening. My clear sincere profile of funds on this.
I paid 7789cad 1st semester tuition fee,
My blood mother was my sponsor and still active in service,Inshot a Bank officer at zenith bank and i am the only dependant in her sponsorship.
Statement of acct for the period of 6months,no money lodgement, was 13mill inflow,6.1mill closing balance,her land docs,her stocks and its certificates.
total remaining school fees + accommodation and others were = 29200cad.employment docs of hers,her payslip,her work Id,intro letter,sponsorship letter,affidavit of support were in place. This is a total heart break for me. I have already applied for my GCMS NOTE and about to terminate my PGC admission with my school.To me it's clear CIC GAMBLES with pgd(c) TRV applications.my hardworks went in vain. I just don't know how to start all over again

Sorry about that Mr M.....but wats glaring on this application is this ...your remaining bal is approx 30k cad which is approximately 7.5m and mumcy has 6.1m......I can understand that probably the conversion rate wasn't so bad wen u submitted but it was wen it was analysis was done.....so sorry once again

Hello TRV Elders in the house, i greet all of u and i wish us ALL a successful TRV approval.
I have some concerns and will appreciate you guys to help address this concerns.

1. I submitted my application on 19th July,2016 via paper route, no upfront medicals. I didn't receive any acknowledgement mail from VFS but i was able to use my tracking ID and it was dispatched same day to Accra. But my concern is that i have tried linking my application online several times but the cic website keeps telling no application found. I input all details correctly.

2. I was offered an admission into Humber College, for Wireless Telecommunication program for September 6 to May,2017(9 Months). On my offer letter it was stated that i need to confirm and accept the offer before 3rd June,2016 and make tuition payment by 23rd June,2016. Initially i didn't want to accept the offer because the course is not that related to my UG degree or Work Experience, after waiting for other schools to offer admission without a response , my agent convinced me to go ahead with the application for study permit. i'm a chemical engineering graduate and work experience of over 5 years in HSE.

The agent accepted the offer on my behalf but i didn't make any tuition deposit as requested by the school, THE SCHOOL STATED THAT FAILURE TO CONFIRM MY ATTENDANCE OR PAY FEES BY DUE DATE WILL JEOPARDIZE MY PLACE IN THE PROGRAM. so do you guys think it will affect my chances of getting a TRV?

Although i hope to defer the admission til January having seen all the delays in TRV for PGD/PGC.

I sometimes check this thread even before my application so i had some ideas concerning the applications but not as much as i know now,so i decided to write a good SOP to defend the reason for my choice of program considering that my UD degree and work experience is not that related.
Generally from my application details what's my chances, Do you think i should get a new offer letter for January 2017 and send to CIC to backup my application?

If you didn't pay your tuition then it means you didn't fulfil the conditions attached to your addmission.......In other words you don't have an admission with them anymore......cos ur lack of commitment would be interpreted as lack of interest in the programme

@Justwise. Please my people.......Please how do i tackle this problem because this wait is killing me. I could have gone to Ghana but it's paper route and i submitted it with my passport, I don't think there's a way i could cross the border without my passport. I think you should go to another hospital to redo a medical test.....my reason is that you should check the date you did the upfront and compare with the date you would be resuming if it would expire before or at resumption then you would need another one......There was someone with a similar complaint and he did another test and had a positive outcome.

We want to know things we can achieve with the waiting period.

The university will send you a tracking number to track your package and it would arrive in about 2 weeks or less.in the waiting period start gathering your required documents that's if the admission is for winter next year I. E January.if it is for fall this year I truly don't know how if u can get ur trv in time before resumption

IS IT POSSIBLE FOR AN APPLICANT THAT HAS FULL SCHOLARSHIP FROM A CANADIAN UNIVERSITY TO BE REJECTED BASED ON INSUFFICIENT FUNDS AFTER APPLYING FOR STUDY PERMIT.
NOTE: the scholarship covers tuition, CIC min of C$10k living expenses, and about C$6k excess from the scholarship??

JUST WONDERING.

I think the visa officer would still like to see some money in your name as a kind of fail safe cos they don't credit your acct with all the scholarship money most times so you still need to show a little financial security.

Can i fill 0 or N/A in the tution part, 5k for boarding and 5k for others? Is that reasonable or i must fill some amount under tution because i have my scholarship letter attached to my app.

Fill what your tuition fee is under tuition (eg 8kcad),then boarding is always stated on your fee schedule attached to your acceptance letter (eg..6k or what ever it is)then for others you can put the 5k. However make sure whatever figure you put for room nd others is up to the standard 10k required by CIC. Lastly attach your scholarship letter to serve as proof of settlement of tuition but ensure your sponsors account covers the rest with change to spare.

Pls gurus in the house, I need your candid advice.

I got a mail last week tuesday instructing me to go ahead and do medical exam. One of the instruction says I have to complete the test before the expiration of 14 days. I only have the opportunity to do it tommorrow.

I called consutant practice to know the number of days it will take before the result can be sent, thry said 6 working days. IOM said two working days. This shows the mrdical exam result will not get to the embassy before the end of the 14 days

Considering price, medical test in IOM costs 33k while it is only 28k in consultznt practice. Hence, I prefer Consultant practice because of the price, but ...

Do I need to bother about the number of days it will take them before sending the results? Or I should go ahead and do it in any of the two hospitals.

Ask yourself what is 5k compared to the time effort and cash you have invested so far

You might still need more clarity on it. But here is my small guess on what to fill under room and board, other and funds available for your stay.

Let's assume you pay $500 per month for room and you got $2000 per month for board. Then room (shelter) = 500x 2years = 12,000. Board ( eats, fares, keeps) = 2000 x 2years = 4000. Hence Room and Board = $16,000. The extra $10k should fall under Other. Overall, funds available for your stay = 33k(Tuition) + 16k(Room and Board) + 10k(Other) = $59k. Hope this helps a little.

That's not totally true because u would run into problems for insufficient funds.
what they want to know is how much u have for your 1st year only....that is if the 2 yrs is 33k meaning tuition is 33k ÷2=16500. And funds available would be tuition((16k) +room nd board (8k)+others (10k)=34kcad

Exercise a little patience,its quite too early for that kind of amount to be transfered in such short notice a week after refusal leta. Its called money lodging. Why dnt u wait for abt 2 weeks or more b4 u reapply,nd pay d mony bit by bit into d accnt. Are u goin for masters?

Its not money lodging cos he said its his sponsor transferring the money.....so I'd suggest after the transfer just state in your sop that to show willingness to sponsor you , your sponsor transfered an equivalent to ur sch fees(or just say something there) into your account. Your sponsor can also talk about said amount in his letter of sponsorship

Reason is that aside ur tuition and other sch expenses u should have 10k cad as stated by cic. So do the maths

Am sorry to hear that cos I know looking for people to give a financial hand can be very difficult during these times but there is no hard and fast rule about it.you have to do all u can to find a sponsor....not just that but also make sure before u start there is a plan as to how u will actually get the money you will spend....1.5m is relatively small for education in canada......and the people on this forum "maynot" be able to provide u with a sponsor ....

I was earnestly waiting to share this unheard of testimony. I wasn't called for medicals but in the fifth week of my application, my tracking status says "processed passport has been dispatched from Acra". My assumption was that the VO is giving concession for my previous stay in UK for about 2years..lolz and so he/she just felt that there's no need.

I confirmed with VFS last Friday that my document is ready for pick up. Couldn't wait for the weekend to be over. On rushing over to VFS this morning.... wasting my precious fuel, I got the shocker.

Refused based on Purpose of visit and family ties to Canada and home country. Please how should I deal with family ties having indicated that I have a wife and child here oo and I wasn't planning going with them. The Canada part; is it that I am supposed to have someone in Canada because I claimed I don't have any?

Can someone please advise.

I submitted my study application on the 2nd of march along with my biometrics and upfront medicals.

I tracked my application yesterday (24th) and it said "processed passport has been dispatched from accra to the CVAC on the 23rd but I have not received the auto email for this dispatch. I am quite surprised though that the application didn't even take up to a month to process.

Anyway, I did not received any email that my visa has been approved. Its been 2days now that i viewed this update. Is this refusal?

I know there's the holiday which is Friday and Monday, as such I may not be advised about my passport till Tuesday.

Any one with an idea of this situation?
