n3xt: There’s drywall construction. You don’t have to plaster. If you also consider most multi-floor projects, they hardly plaster walls. They mostly clad their walls.
The cheaper silicate paint you mentioned is looking more like something I’d be interested in. . Like this

I don't want to call them frauds but they are cheats, went to their dealer to buy one, they said they are doing upgrade but I shouldn't worry that they'd be back in 2 days, paid #17500, it's almost 10 days, the dish is still occupying space in my room. Why continue selling to customers and lying to them when your service is out. |

Peterlove11: You are right, someone can still get inverters with good charging algorithm. My bluegate inverter charges well, later I changed to an hybrid inverter and that charges better and faster. Infact it offers far superior runtimes and efficiency. The only disadvantage of the hybrid is that the battery(tubular) water runs down faster. So you might need to top it off often. I will say if you have the money buy a good hybrid inverter, It will definitely serve better when you say faster, can you be specific, how fast? |

vincentjk: Sometime last year I noticed a sudden increase in fuel usage on my ride, discussed with someone and he said it might be due to lack of indomie but I've been using this car without indomie for a long time so why the sudden change? This worried me but there was nothing I could do.
Recently, I noticed poor acceleration maybe I needed to clean up something so I headed to my mechanic's workshop on Wednesday and told him to loose the nuzzles and wash it thoroughly. He decided to also loose the injector and get it cleaned.
Asked me to give his boy N200 to buy tina and the work kicked off.
Soaked the nuzzles for about 30 minutes inside the tina and also used the tina to wash the injector as well and some ugly looking black dirt were discovered to my greatest suprise then fixed back. gave him N1k for the job.
I decided to go for a test, bought fuel of 3k/18 litters and drove a 63km to and fro =126km (with three passengers on my way back and still have enough fuel left and cruising around town.
Like I'm happy I did this because I'd have spent 5-6k on that distance but now I've it fixed, for a moment I was thinking my fuel gage was even faulty and was scared i don't run out of fuel on the high way lol.
I hope I passed a message across though! This would save someone as well.
Car type: Peugeot 406 E10
The below pictures aren't mine tho. where is this your mechanic located? I'm getting an average of 85km/10L. I feel I should be getting more. |

I don't know if I'm the only that have noticed the not so good anteroom-sitting room arrangements in building plans. Ante rooms should lead both to the sitting room and lobby, so one can access the rest of the house straight from the anteroom without having to pass through the sitting room. example below

And that reputation will go on for as long as possible. Some people will have a lil bit of misunderstanding, they will term you a scammer And when you ask them for proof. There won't be a concrete proof. Imagine working for years and all these to be undone with a single transaction. it's that "CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT" mentality. in as much as some contractors can be dubious, some clients can also deliberately put you in trouble and deny when the issue is escalated. I was supervising a foundation, already gave the labourers the mix ratio, just for me to attend to something else for less than 10mins, I noticed the mix was different, I queried the labourers and I was told, "na oga tell us to increase sand and stone because e dey chop cement". if it had caused a major failure in the structure, that's how oga would blamed "Engineer" |

Chibaba247: Kindly criticize or comment on this plan of mine, a 3 bedroom bungalow all ensuit, with a 2 bedroom bq the flow is okay just that I have a problem with the kitchen store, with it's size, it's practically useless. then your bathrooms, you are managing space and you have ducts, how do you plan to position the shower and toilet, I hope you aren't planning on doing self con style (shower directly over toilet). since it's a bungalow, you don't need those ducts, straighten the bathroom walls for increased space. do same with the wall between sitting room and v.wc, put the v.wc window in front, if you are worried about privacy, raise it up above human height, that way you have a straight walled sitting room.

I actually drew the plan myself cos my architect was not responding on time. Now is at roofing level, am now thinking of how to reduced roofing cost without too much disadvantages. well, you'd have to model both roof styles and see which one appeals to you more, some poorly constructed flat roofs are an eyesore. |

Apologist02: Good day everyone… I’m a first time project supervisor and I’m working on the plan attached. I want to reduce the area of excavation since a DPC will be provided for the structure. So I want to be appropriately guided by our experienced builders here. Please highlight the most important areas of excavation and placement of columns. Thank you sirs. extend the two windows behind the entrainment center to the extreme so you can have enough space to mount the TV and it's accompanying accessories. as for the columns, every edge should have one. excavate all foundation walls, you don't want to have cracks on any wall without a footing, though it's not a rule cast in stone. |

davodyguy: When you're negligent and can be proven, the contractor will pay heavily.
Under the law of contact, there's something called duty of care.
The law of torts is applicable and it would apply against the contractor, even if it was Dangote or End SARS that caused inflation does it also apply to payment for services rendered. a client is owing me a substantial amount when dollar was 360, now that money is worth half the value it's worth then, mind you client is a diasporan, earns in $, now he's gonna spend less $ to pay me up whenever he deems fit, he gains, I loose. mind you this was a gentleman agreement, no contract. |
